I’ve been told that I’m judging. Well, yes, we are to judge doctrines, teachings, theories, and theologies. Colossians 2:16-17, “So then, let no one but the body of Messiah judge you in eating or in drinking, or about an appointment calendar festival, or a new moon, or about Sabbaths. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come.” We do not have the authority to judge people, we only have authority to judge their teachings, theories, and spiritual fruit. Personally, I do not care whether or not you keep Sabbath on a lunar Sabbath schedule or calendar, or on a solar Sabbath schedule or calendar, or if you keep Sabbath at all. You and I will be judged by Yahweh and His Word. Do what you will. Yahweh’s word will either justify us or condemn us. I suggest we choose life by His Word.

So today, we’re going to look at the First Feast of Yahweh as described in Leviticus 23:1-3, Yahweh spoke to Moses: 2 “Speak to the people of Israel, and say to them, ’These are the appointment calendar festivals of Yahweh, which you must proclaim as holy assemblies; they are my appointment calendar festivals. 3 You may work for six days, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, a holy assembly. You must do no work, because it is a Sabbath for Yahweh in all the places where you live.

The seventh-day Sabbath is the first holiday, holy day, holy convocation, holy rehearsal, listed in Leviticus 23. Read verse 3 very carefully. Read verse 3 as many times as you need to. Meditate on verse 3 for as long as you need to. Again, for the umpteenth time, how does Yahweh specify we determine the Sabbath rest holiday, or rehearsal? See it? Yes, we count six days of work, then the seventh day is our Sabbath day of rest with Yahweh!! Do you see any difference between Leviticus 23:3 and Genesis 2:1-3, or Exodus 20:8-11, or Exodus 16? No, of course not. The daily 24-hour count of days, 6 days work, 7th-day is the Sabbath, has remained the same since the first week of creation.

That word Sabbath in verse 3 is Shabbath, Shabbat, Strong’s # 7676, the Sabbath, the Sabbath week, it means intermission. Take a break, folks. Give me a break, please!! That word “rest” there in verse 3 is again Shabbathown, Strong’s # 7677, the weekly Sabbath observance, a sabbatism, or special holiday. That is why Yahweh included it in Chapter 23 with all the other Feasts of Yahweh. But the way Yahweh determines the Sabbath remains the same, consistently, throughout Scripture, as a 7-day count of 24-hour days, from the first week of creation. Week in week out. Why did Yahweh place the Sabbath first in this list of Feasts? Well, let’s see, He created time, then seven days later, he created the first Sabbath. It was the first Feast, holy holiday that Yahweh created. Is that too hard to understand?

The Sabbath is like breathing in Ruach Ha’Kodesh. It’s Yahweh’s heartbeat. It should be the heartbeat of his children. Is it your heartbeat? It’s my heartbeat, but I’m heartbroken that I’ve only been following Yahweh’s Sabbath heartbeat for the last 15 years. Before that time, my heart was off-beating on the wrong day of the week. How could I have been resting on the first day of the week, when I should have been out working on that day? My life was out of sync with Yahweh for the first 30 years of my walk with Him. Is that sad or what? Please re-sync your heartbeat with Yahweh’s today. Do not delay another week without getting in step with Yahweh and his perfect will for your life. Work six days then rest on the seventh day. Don’t rest on the first day of the week, then end up working on Yahweh’s Sabbath. That is called disobedience. Your life will continue to be a muddled mess until you get sync’d up with Yahweh on his clock and biblical calendar. Just remember, the 24 hour clock was invented 3 days before the sun, moon, and stars were even created! That should be our first clue as to how to count towards the weekly Sabbath!!

So, what are we rehearsing each week on Sabbath? Eternal rest in Yahweh, that’s what. It’s one wonderful way to taste the good eternal things to come. The writer of Hebrews said it best: Hebrews 4:1-16, “Therefore, let us be very careful so that none of you might seem to have failed to reach the promise left behind for you to enter Yahweh’s rest. 2 For we were told the gospel just as they were. But that message did not benefit those who did not unite in faith with those who obeyed. 3 For we who have believed are the ones who will enter that rest, just as he said, “As I swore in my wrath, they will never enter my rest.” Even so, his created works were finished at the foundation of the world (<<< CLUE!!). 4 For he has said somewhere about the seventh day, Yahweh rested on the seventh day from all his deeds.” 5 Again he has said, “They will never enter my rest.” 6 Therefore, because it is still reserved for some to enter his rest, and since many Israelites who heard the gospel did not enter it because of disobedience, 7 Yahweh has again set a certain day called, “Today.” After many days, he spoke through David, as it was earlier said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.” 8 For if Joshua the son of Nun had given them rest, Yahweh would not have spoken later on about another day. 9 Therefore, there is still a Sabbath rest reserved for Yahweh’s people. 10 For he who enters into Yahweh’s rest has himself also rested from his deeds, just as Yahweh did from his. 11 Therefore, let us be eager to enter that rest, so that no one will fall into the kind of disobedience that they did. 12 For the word of Yahweh is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword. It pierces even to the division of soul from spirit, and joints from marrow. It is able to know the heart’s thoughts and intentions. 13 Nothing created is hidden before Yahweh. Instead, everything is bare and open to the eyes of the One to whom we must give account. 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Yeshua the Son of Yahweh, let us firmly hold to our beliefs. 15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot feel sympathy for our weaknesses. Instead, we have someone who has in all ways been tempted as we are, except that he is without sin. 16 Let us then go with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

I’m needy, we’re all needy. We need Yahweh’s seventh-day Sabbath rest.

We’re going to skip the Exodus of the children of Israel out of Egypt and move to their second month out in the wilderness of Sin. Out here in the wilderness of Sin, the Israelites were about to be re-synchronized with the seventh-day Sabbath, as taught in Genesis 1 and 2.

Exodus 16:1, “The people journeyed on from Elim, and all the messianic congregation of Israelites came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second lunar month after their departure from the land of Egypt.”

This event begins only 30 days into the Israelite’s wilderness experience, after the Exodus from Egypt on the 15th of the 1st month. We are now at the 15th of the second month. You can see my spreadsheet that describes this manna experience and the re-alignment of Israel with the seventh-day Sabbath. You can email me at anapto2 at gmail dot com to receive your own personal copy of the manna spreadsheet. I begin the spreadsheet at the 1st day of the 1st month of the year of the Exodus, circa 1484 BC. The Exodus occurred in the 1st month. This Sabbath/manna re-synchronization with the weekly Sabbath occurred in the 2nd month of the Exodus year. As a side note, the Israelites arrived in the wilderness of Sin on what would have been a Sabbath, the 15th of the 2nd month, but they did not observe that Sabbath, because Yahweh had not yet told them to. He had planned to teach them with the manna miracle and did it over an entire shabuwa, or week. Notice the right-hand column of my spreadsheet, they arrived in the wilderness of Sin on the 45th day of the new year. As revealed in the account of the Great Flood of Noah, the biblical calendar at the time of Moses and the Exodus was that of a 360-day year, solar or lunar, or luni-solar. Each month had exactly 30 days in it. Thus 30 days in the 1st month, plus 15 days, brings us to the 15th of the 2nd month of that year, the 45th day of the year. If the children of Israel had been observing this Sabbath in the land of Canaan, this Sabbath on the 15th of the second month would have been the fourth Sabbath in the Omer count towards the Feast of Shavuot, or the Feast of Weeks.

Yahweh’s promise prophecy of the manna, Exodus 16:4a, “Then Yahweh said to Moses, “I will rain down bread from heaven for you.”” Verse 8a, “Moses also said, “You will know this when Yahweh gives you meat at sunset and bread at dawn to the full.”” Verse 12b, “At sunset you will eat meat, and at dawn you will be filled with bread.” Yahweh stated it 3 times, so the manna promise was set in stone, so to speak. As far as I can tell, Yahweh made this promise prophecy on the 15th of the second month of the Israelite wilderness experience. What was the first thing the Israelites did on that day, after arriving in the wilderness of Sin? They complained about not having enough food. Is the messianic congregation of Yahweh any different today? I don’t think so. We still whine, we still complain, and Yahweh keeps loving us. Anyway, Yahweh made this promise prophecy in response to their complaints.

The test of the Israelites’ faith as a nation begins in Exodus 16:4, “Then Yahweh said to Moses, “I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people will go out and gather a day’s portion every day so that I may test them to see whether or not they will walk in my Torah.” Yahweh was about to test the Israelites to see if they will be obedient to his Torah. Will they do what He says, or will they rebel? What will we do today, dear viewer/reader? Will we obey Yahweh’s direct Sabbath teaching, or not? Genesis 2:1-3, “Then the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the living things that filled them. 2 On the sixth day the Almighty came to the end of his work which he had done, and so he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. 3 The Almighty blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it he rested from all his work which he had done in his creation.” Yahweh set apart the seventh day of the first week of creation as a day of His own Sabbath rest. That verb there in verse three is the word shawbath, Shabbat, the very act of resting on Yahweh’s first holy day festival, the seventh-day Sabbath. We don’t get to pick and choose which commands of Yahweh we’re going to obey. We didn’t create the world or the Sabbath. Yahweh made the seventh day of the week to be our Sabbath day of rest. What is so difficult about this to understand?

Exodus 16:13-15, “It came about at sunset that quails came up and covered the camp. At dawn the dew lay round about the camp. 14 When the dew was gone, there on the surface of the wilderness were thin flakes like frost on the ground. 15 When the people of Israel saw it, they said one to another, What is it?” They did not know what it was. Moses said to them, “It is the bread (lechem) that Yahweh has given you to eat.” That short question in verse 15, what is it? is the Hebrew word for manna, mawn, Strong’s # 4478. They didn’t know at first what it was, but once the dew dried, it became sweet frosty bread, and over 40 years of this, they learned what it was. It was kind of like your favorite breakfast cereal, only provided to them supernaturally. Notice, on the morning of the 1st day of the week, Sunday morning, they collected one day’s portion for each individual in each family. This first day of the shabuwa or re-synchronized week was Iyar, or Ziv 16, the 16th of the second month, in the first year of the wilderness experience, the year of the Exodus, circa 1484 BC. They followed the command of verse 16, to gather about 2.2 liters per person that day. They disobeyed by leaving some of it until the next morning, Monday, the 17th, showing a lack of faith. That did not please Yahweh and it made Moses angry.

The command for the sixth day: Exodus 16:5, “It will come about on the sixth day, that they will gather twice as much as what they gathered every day before, and they will cook what they bring in.” They gathered one day’s portion each morning, but as soon as it got hot, the frosted flakes on the ground melted. The first day was Sunday, the 16th, the second day was Monday, the 17th, the third day was Tuesday, the 18th, the fourth day was Wednesday, the 19th, the fifth day was Thursday, the 20th, and the sixth day was Friday, the 21st day of the second lunar month. Then on the sixth day they obeyed the command from verse 5: Exodus 16:22, “It came about that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, 4.4 liters for each person. All the leaders of the messianic congregation came and told this to Moses.” Why did they gather twice as much on the sixth day of the week? Because the seventh day, Saturday, the Sabbath, was a rest day on which they were not to gather any manna. The manna from the sixth day lasted through the seventh-day Sabbath, supernaturally preserved by Yahweh! Exodus 16:23-25, “He said to them, “This is what Yahweh has said: ‘Tomorrow is a solemn rest, a holy Sabbath in Yahweh’s honor. Bake what you want to bake, and boil what you want to boil. All that remains over, set it aside for yourselves until morning.’” 24 So they set it aside until morning, as Moses had instructed. It did not become foul, nor was there any worm in it. 25 Moses said, “Eat that food today, for today is a day reserved as a Sabbath to honor Yahweh. Today you will not find it in the fields.” No manna fell from heaven on the seventh-day Sabbath.

Yahweh had just re-synchronized the children of Israel with his seventh-day Sabbath. The word Sabbath is used in verse 23 and 25, Strong’s # 7676, which means an intermission, which Yahweh has commanded to be a solemn day of rest. That word rest is Strong’s # 7677, Shabbathown, meaning a sabbath observance, special holiday, a sabbatism, a rest sabbath. This may give us the first understanding of the seventh-day weekly Sabbath as a special holiday to Yahweh, we rest with Him and for ourselves. That first re-synchronized seventh-day Sabbath occurred on the 22nd of the second lunar month of that year. Notice, though, that Yahweh had the Israelites count six days, not just any date on a lunar month calendar. Six 24-hour days, then the 7th 24-hour day was the Sabbath. Neither Yahweh, nor Moses, tied that first re-synchronized seventh-day Sabbath to a date on a lunar month calendar. It was only determined by counting days, not dates. The Israelites did not determine this Sabbath calendar schedule, Yahweh did. As a side note: That first re-synchronized seventh-day Sabbath would have just happened to be the Fifth Sabbath, if they had been in the land of Canaan, counting the Omer toward the Feast of Shavuot, which they weren’t, so they weren’t.

Now, do any of you see the problem with a lunar Sabbath, dated by dates on a lunar month calendar? Depending on how you do your heretical counting for a lunar Sabbath calendar, you need a perfect 28-day or a perfect 29-day lunar calendar. Lunar Sabbaths would either occur on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and the 28th, or they would occur on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th of the lunar month. So, what would the Israelites have done with the extra day or two on their then exact 30-day lunar calendar? There is no Torah instruction on what would have to be done to adjust your calendar each month to handle a lunar Sabbath, scheduled by lunar calendar dates. A lunar Sabbath is simply unscriptural, it is heresy, it is cultic. It is a theory that they try to prove by this portion of Scripture, but the Scripture truth does not bear out a lunar Sabbath. Sabbath is only calculated by counting days, from the first day of creation. In a previous video, I showed you mathematically how I can tie each week’s Sabbath day to the first Sabbath of creation. All weeks in human history are divisible by 7. It’s pretty simple, no selenologist needed.

Exodus 16:25-26, “Moses said, “Eat that food today, for today is a day reserved as a Sabbath to honor Yahweh. Today you will not find it (manna) in the fields. 26 You will gather it during six days, but the seventh day is the Sabbath. On the Sabbath there will be no manna.””

Friends, if you can read English, is that too hard to understand? The seventh day is the Sabbath. The Sabbath is not based on a lunar calendar monthly date number, but on a weekly day number, the 7th day! It does not matter when your lunar, or even a solar, month would begin. The seventh-day Sabbath was established in the first week of creation and has been counted out weekly ever since. There is no alternative Sabbath doctrine, teaching, or theology, revealed in the Holy Scriptures.

Now, dear viewers and readers, do I dare show you the coup de grâce? Look at my manna seventh-day Sabbath spreadsheet. Notice, the next, or second re-synchronized seventh-day Sabbath occurred on the 29th of that 2nd lunar month of that first year in the wilderness. BUT, now count just 7 more days to the 3rd seventh-day re-synchronized Sabbath, which happens to occur in the 3rd lunar month of that year. The 3rd Sabbath occurred on the 6th day of the 3rd lunar month in that first year of the wilderness experience. Just count out three simple Sabbath weeks from Yahweh’s manna re-synchronization test and you have a Sabbath that occurs on the 6th day of a lunar month. According to the heretical lunar sabbatarians, a Sabbath can never occur on the 6th day of a lunar month!! Just 3 weeks into the manna miracle, and BANG, the lunar Sabbath is dead on arrival!

Ok, here it is: Month 2, Day 22, or Iyar 22, 1484 BC, or 2277 Jewish year, was Creation Day Number (CDN) 1,179,514. Divide the CDN by 7 to get the Creation Sabbath Week Number (CSWN) = 168,502. Please double check my work. That first re-synchronized Sabbath was the 168,502nd Sabbath since creation week. I can’t make it any simpler. Today is July 14, 2018 AD, a Sabbath. It is CSWN 351,188. 351,188 – 168,502 = 182,686 Sabbaths since Moses’ re-synchronized Sabbath, give or take a Sabbath for inclusive counting. I can’t make it any simpler than this. Try doing this with your Lunar Sabbath dates.

And look, that Sabbath on the 6th day of the 3rd month would have been the 7th Sabbath in an Omer count towards the Feast of Shavuot, which would have occurred on the 7th day of that 3rd month that year, if they had been in the land of Canaan. And notice further, that a couple weeks later, after they had traveled from the wilderness of Sin to the wilderness of Sinai, they really did get the 10 Words spoken to them from Mt. Sinai, in the 3rd month that year!! That is where the Jewish tradition comes from that the Ten Words were given around the Feast of Shavuot. And what was that 4th Word spoken to them at Mt. Sinai? Oh, that’s right, the seventh-day Sabbath! Go ahead, be brave, read Exodus 20 and look for the 4th Commandment, the seventh-day Sabbath. A lunar Sabbath is not taught there either. What did Yahweh say in the 4th Commandment? Oh, that’s right, He directly tied it to the first Sabbath in the week of creation. He worked six days, then He rested on the seventh day. It’s simple, but oh so hard to obey, apparently.

Luke 13:23-28, “Someone said to him (Yeshua), “Lord, are only a few people to be saved?” So he said to them, 24 “Struggle to enter through the narrow door, because I say to you, many will want to enter, but will not be able to enter. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and locks the door, then you will stand outside and knock at the door and say, ‘Lord, Lord, let us in.’ And he will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you or where you are from.’ 26 Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank in front of you and you taught in our streets.’ 27 But he will reply, ‘I say to you, I do not know where you are from. Get away from me, you evildoers!’ 28 There will be crying and the grinding of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in Yahweh’s kingdom, but you are thrown out.”

You all know what a lock tumbler is: Wordweb states it is: “A movable obstruction in a lock that must be adjusted to a given position (as by a key) before the bolt can be thrown.”; states: “(in a lock) any locking or checking part that, when lifted or released by the action of a key or the like, allows the bolt to move.” Right now, even in these endtime days we live in, the universe is still moving around, like a tumbler in a lock, but soon, very soon, Yahweh will lock this Universe into a beautiful state of his glory. A state we look forward to with every fiber of our being. Will you be locked in or locked out? Make your choice today, choose life.

Well, folks, I thought I was finished with this Universe Locked theme, but my wife, Marner, read Isaiah 66:22-23 the other day and noticed right away that Yahweh and Isaiah separated the Sabbath from the lunar months. Let’s read it: “For just as the new heavens and the new earth that I will make will remain before me, declares Yahweh, so your descendants will remain, and your name will remain. 23 From one new moon to the next lunar month, and from one Sabbath to the next Sabbath, all people will come to bow down to me in worship, says Yahweh.” Yahweh is looking forward to our worship when He and Yeshua are tabernacling with us here on earth.

Isaiah understood the biblical lunar calendar and we can see that he understands the meaning of Strong’s word for moon, # 3391, yerach, that means LUNATION! Isaiah quotes Yahweh himself saying that the lunar calendar goes from one lunar conjunction to the next lunar conjunction! Yahweh through Isaiah virtually wrote the definition for the word lunation right there in verse 23. Look how Yahweh and Isaiah compare with Strong’s definition for yerach: “a lunation, that is, month” Lunation’s dictionary definitions from: Wordweb = “The period between successive new moons”; from = “the period of time from one new moon to the next; a lunar month.” Yahweh, Isaiah and Dr. Strong agree that a lunation defines a lunar month. Verse 23 is a sure confirmation to our understanding of the biblical lunar calendar revealed in Exodus 2:2 and other places. Isaiah read and knew the Torah of Moses. Isaiah lived and prophesied about 750 years after Moses, per Isaiah 1:1. Isaiah possibly lived through the calendar change caused by the Mars flyby in 701 BC, along with King Hezekiah. Please read all of Isaiah, Chapter 66.

Either when Yeshua returns, or 1,000 years later, Yahweh is going to lock the universe into a glorious eternal state. A state we can only imagine today. But according to verse 23, there will still be a moon revolving around the earth, going through its lunations. At the same time, Yahweh’s followers will still be counting the days of the weekly Sabbath cycle. Notice how Yahweh through Isaiah separates the concept of the lunar month from that of the weekly Sabbath cycle. They are two distinct and different aspects of Yahweh’s biblical calendar. The moon determines the months, as we’ve learned before, and counting 24-hour days, 1 through 7, determines our week. Work six days and take the seventh-day Sabbath off and rest. Yahweh through Isaiah does not even hint at the heresy that the Sabbath is tied to the lunar month, or that the lunar month determines a Sabbath, which is a false teaching and doctrine. Yahweh’s biblical principles and biblical lunar calendar will stand for all eternity. And look right there in verse 23, the weekly seventh-day Sabbath will last for all eternity also! Are you ready for a real change? I hope so. Repent of your sin and give your life to Yeshua today. Don’t get locked out!!

Lunar Sabbath Debunked – Again – Again

Lunar Sabbath Debunked – Again – Again

Context, context, context. The best way to establish doctrine is to find the context of a passage. Please turn with me in your Bible to Exodus 19. The Ten Commandments are given in Exodus 20, but our context for that event is revealed in Exodus 19:1, “In the third lunar month after the people of Israel had gone out from the land of Egypt, on the same day (15th day, per Numbers 33:3), they came to the wilderness of Sinai.” You’ve read the context of this passage many times. It’s Yahweh giving the children of Israel the Ten Words, the Ten Commandments, at Mt. Sinai in Arabia, in about 1484 BC, on the morning of the 17th of the third lunar month. The “today and tomorrow” of Exodus 19:10-11 is the 15th and 16th of the third lunar month: “Yahweh said to Moses, “Go to the people. Today and tomorrow you must set them apart to me, and make them wash their garments. 11 Be ready for the third day, for the third day I, Yahweh, will come down to Mount Sinai.” The third day is thus defined as the 17th of the third lunar month that year.

So now, let’s look at our passage of Scripture today describing the Sabbath. Turn in your Bible now to Exodus 20:8-11, Remember the Sabbath day, to set it (7th day) apart to me. 9 You must labor and do all your work for six days. 10 But the seventh day is a Sabbath for me, Yahweh your Almighty. On it (7th day) you must not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor the foreigner who is within your gates. 11 For in six days, I, Yahweh, made the heavens, earth, and sea, and everything that is in them, and then rested on the seventh day. Therefore, I, Yahweh, blessed the Sabbath day and set it (7th day) apart to myself.

In this short passage, how many times does Yahweh mention a day? NINE times in 4 verses! He states “six days” 2 times and the 7th day Sabbath SEVEN times in four verses! Any child can count out a week on his fingers. This is not rocket science, astronomy, nor selenology. It’s a simple counting of 24-hour days, just like we saw in Genesis 1 and 2 of the creation week in our last video. Yahweh alludes to Genesis 2 right here in verse 11, and repeats what was written there. If Yahweh says something twice, you have your two witnesses, and the thing is established, but if Yahweh says something SEVEN times, the argument is settled in perfect completeness for all eternity. The Sabbath is based on a simple count of 24-hour earth days. No year involved, no new moon involved, no lunar month involved, no selenologist involved; the sun was not even involved until the fourth day of creation. The seventh-day Sabbath establishes our 7-day week, work the first six days to earn your bread, rest on the 7th day. I hope you all now understand the Sabbath DAY.

I studied and wrote this video blog on July 7, 2018 AD, which was a Sabbath Day. For example, let’s give this just passed Sabbath the Day Number of 2,458,309. I can divide this number by 7 and tell you exactly how many 7-day weeks there are back to the first week of creation. 2,458,309 / 7 = 351,187 weeks back to the first week of creation! Creation week was week 1, this week just ended was week 351,187 of creation! Is that cool or what? No solar year, no lunar year, no lunar month, no solar month, no selenologist involved or necessary to know which day is our 7th-day Sabbath!! There simply is no such thing as a lunar Sabbath. It is heresy. It is a false teaching.

In our next video, we’ll look at the point in history when Yahweh re-synchronized the children of Israel with their 7th-day Sabbath.

One viewer commented on Psalm 104:19. Just a reminder, that verse was written about 3,000 years AFTER creation week of Genesis 1 and 2, so it could never overturn what Yahweh ALREADY established in the first 5 books of the Bible, the Pentateuch, the Torah. It can only supplement and support the Torah teaching, not forbid it or overturn it.

Yahweh bless you all, thanks for watching and reading.

Genesis 1:1-31, “In the beginning, the Almighty created the heavens and the earth.

  • From the first word in the Bible, we see that the first thing Yahweh invented and created was . . . TIME ! How do we understand time? By a 24 hour clock of hours, minutes, and seconds. Ok, so we have Yahweh’s stopwatch started in the beginning. In my last video, we saw the day when Yahweh stops his stopwatch and the universe is locked into his glory for all eternity.

So, what is the second thing that Yahweh invented and created? Heavens and earth. Empty space and the mud ball we call home, earth, rotating on a non-tilted axis, spinning at 1,000 miles per hour, giving us a 24 hour day. All this four days BEFORE the sun, moon, and stars are invented and created. All this in perfection, beauty and goodness.

2 The earth was without form and empty. Darkness was upon the surface of the deep. The Ruach of the Almighty was moving above the surface of the waters.

So, what about verse two? We find the earth tohu and wabohu, formless, wet, and empty. So, in the first three days of creation the wet earth and heavens receive their form, in the last three days of creation, Yahweh fills up the emptiness of the heavens and earth. At this point we have a wet desert wasteland of earth spinning around flying through empty space. Job knew it: Job 26:7, “He stretches out the northern skies over the empty space (tohu), and he hangs the earth over nothing.” Isaiah 45:18,This is what Yahweh says, who created the heavens, the true Almighty One who created the earth and made it, who established it. He created it, not as a waste, but designed it to be inhabited: “I am Yahweh, and there is no other.””

3 The Almighty said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Yahweh’s next invention and creation is LIGHT! Think about that for as long as you want to. Yahweh had been living in total darkness for all eternity before time.

4 The Almighty saw the light, that it was good. He divided the light from the darkness. 5 The Almighty called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” This was dusk through daylight, the first day.

  • Yahweh separated darkness from light, creating day and night, on this first day of creation, all with no sun, moon, or stars present yet. How is this possible? Well, the earth was spinning, 12 hours in the darkness, 12 hours in the light. Remember, Yahweh began creation week on a Saturday night about 6:01 pm, approximately, for arguments sake.

6 The Almighty said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” 7 The Almighty made the expanse and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse. It was so. 8 The Almighty called the expanse “sky.” This was dusk through daylight, the second day.

  • On the second day of creation, Yahweh made the sky, or atmosphere, but still no sun, moon, or stars present. We call this day Monday.

9 The Almighty said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear.” It was so. 10 The Almighty called the dry land “earth,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” He saw that it was good. 11 The Almighty said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation: Plants yielding seed and fruit trees bearing fruit whose seed is in the fruit, each according to its own kind.” It was so. 12 The earth produced vegetation, plants producing seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit whose seed was in it, after their kind. The Almighty saw that it was good. 13 This was dusk through daylight, the third day.

  • On the third day of creation, Yahweh created oceans, rivers, lakes, and streams, and vegetation of seed bearing plants and trees. We call this day Tuesday. But notice, there still is no sun, moon, or stars, but plants begin producing oxygen. So, now we have a dry earth with oceans and plants begin growing.

14 The Almighty said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night and let them be as signs, for seasons, for days and years. 15 Let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light upon the earth.” It was so. 16 The Almighty made the two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light, the stars, to rule the night. 17 The Almighty set them in the expanse of the sky to give light upon the earth, 18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. The Almighty saw that it was good. 19 This was sunset through daylight, the fourth day.

  • Wow, finally, we see Yahweh invent and create the sun and stars, still no mention of the moon, though. The moon is not mentioned in Scripture until Genesis 37:9, when Joseph sees the moon in a dream, as a representation of his mom, bowing down to him. That’s at least 2,000 years after creation. Back to Genesis 1, we see Yahweh more finely dividing light and darkness, by inventing and creating the luminaries. We know luminaries as the burning gas balls called stars today, which of course, includes our sun. Yahweh invents and creates days, seasons, and years. Yahweh tells us he created the sun and stars to define days, seasons, and years, but months are not defined here. Interesting. The Moon is not mentioned, nor are months mentioned. But the day and the year are now delineated to help divide light and darkness and the seasons of the year, winter from summer. Now we know the year will be one revolution of the earth around the sun. So, we see that Yahweh began creation with a solar calendar, which we believe was 360 days long. We discover that the sun, the greater light, rules over the day and the stars, the lesser light, rule over the night. We don’t have a sunset until day four of creation!

I need to mention that the word for seasons in verse 14 is the word mo’edim, the same word we use for the appointment calendar festivals of Yahweh. But in the context of creation week, the word is used here specifically to discuss the seasons of the year. Why do I say this? Because we let Scripture interpret Scripture: Genesis 8:22, “While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease.” and Psalm 74:17, “You have set all the borders of the earth; you have made summer and winter.” Genesis 8:22 and Psalm 74:17 are direct references to Genesis 1 and the creation of the seasons. Notice, the holy Scriptures are ignorant of our four season year. The Scriptures never discuss solstices or equinoxes. It only knows the two season year, winter and summer. That is what Yahweh created the sun to determine.

20 The Almighty said, “Let the waters be filled with great numbers of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the expanse of the sky.” 21 The Almighty created the great sea creatures, as well as every living creature after its kind, creatures that move and which fill the waters everywhere, and every winged bird after its kind. The Almighty saw that it was good. 22 The Almighty blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas. Let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 This was sunset through daylight, the fifth day.

  • During the fifth day of creation, Yahweh created the sea critters and the birds.

24 The Almighty said, “Let the earth produce living creatures, each according to its own kind, livestock, creeping things, and beasts of the earth, each according to its own kind.” It was so. 25 The Almighty made the beasts of the earth after their kind, the livestock after their kinds, and everything that creeps upon the ground after its kind. He saw that it was good. 26 The Almighty said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 The Almighty created man in his own image. In his own image he created him. Male and female he created them. 28 The Almighty blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful, and multiply. Fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” 29 The Almighty said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the surface of all the earth, and every tree with fruit which has seed in it. They will be food to you. 30 To every beast of the earth, to every bird of the heavens, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, and to every creature that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” It was so. 31 The Almighty saw everything that he had made. Behold, it was exceedingly good. This was sunset through daylight, the sixth day.”

  • On the sixth day of creation, Yahweh created land animals, beasts large and small, livestock and such. Yahweh also created mankind, Adam and Eve, detailed more in Chapter Two.

Genesis 2:1-3, “Then the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the living things that filled them. 2 On the sixth day the Almighty came to the end of his work which he had done, and so he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. 3 The Almighty blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it he rested from all his work which he had done in his creation.”

  • In Genesis, Chapter Two, verses 2 and 3, we see Yahweh rested on the seventh day of the week. Yahweh blessed the seventh day and set it apart as a day of rest, for himself and for all creation. Now, I want you to think about what you’ve read in Genesis 1 through Chapter Two, verse 3. Yahweh counted three days of the first week, without the sun, moon, or stars even created. What does that tell us? Yahweh was counting days by the 24-hour stopwatch he created in Chapter 1, verse 1. No sun was needed, no moon was needed, no stars were needed to begin counting the first week of creation! The immediate conclusion from this is that the Sabbath is determined by 24-hour day counts, not by the sun, lunar month, or even the stars. The lunar Sabbath concept is heresy, it is a myth. The moon is not even mentioned in the first three chapters of Genesis. But the Sabbath is, mentioned as a verb here, Shabbat, the action word, to rest. Do you know what this means? We can assign a day number to every day of creation. We could give this weeks Sabbath day a numeral, singularly identifying this day apart from all other days in history, and it would be easily tied to the 7th day of creation, with a numeral identifier of 7, the first Sabbath, because all the weeks of history can be evenly divided by seven. All Sabbaths since that first Sabbath week of creation are connected by a simple count of seven days, independent of months, seasons, or years. There simply is no such thing as a lunar Sabbath. What appears as a lunar Sabbath during the implementation of manna in Exodus 16 only appears as a lunar Sabbath for that first month of manna. By the time the next lunar month rolled around, the lunar Sabbath was immediately broken, since a lunar Sabbath requires a perfect 28-day month. We’ve never had a perfect 28-day month, solar or lunar. We had perfect 30 day months in Adam, Noah’s and Moses’ day, but now we have 29 ½ day lunar months, and the Scriptures are clear, the sun has only to do with defining days, seasons, and years, not with defining months. As we learned in my last video, we defined lunar months in Exodus 2:2, with the word lunations.

By the time Moses got around to explaining the Feasts of Yahweh, including the Sabbath, in Leviticus 23, the clock/calendar definition of the Sabbath had already been in operation for several thousand years. Let’s take a peek: Lev 23:1-3, “Yahweh spoke to Moses: 2 “Speak to the people of Israel, and say to them, ’These are the appointment calendar festivals of Yahweh, which you must proclaim as holy assemblies; they are my appointment calendar festivals. 3 You may work for six days, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, a holy assembly. You must do no work because it is a Sabbath for Yahweh in all the places where you live.”

NOTICE, please, dear viewers and readers, that Moses re-emphasized that the Sabbath is determined by a seven DAY count, not a lunar month date! Moses wrote Genesis 1-3, so Moses was instructed personally by Yahweh that the creation week and first Sabbath were determined by a 24-hour day, 7-day count. Meditate on verse 3 for as long as you need to, but let it soak into your mind and spirit, that the Sabbath is based on a day count, not a date on a lunar or solar calendar. It’s what defines our week for us, even to this day. There is no such thing as a lunar Sabbath. It is heresy.

Yahweh bless each of you for watching and reading.

UNIVERSE LOCKED – Evidence for a Biblical Lunar Calendar

Evidence for a Biblical Lunar Calendar

Gene Benjamin II

June 18, 2018

All Scriptures taken from the SOMB, the Son Of Man Bible, original work at I used their Unlocked Literal Bible to make the SOMB.bblx for e-Sword Bible program. Sola Scriptura, my friends, Sola Scriptura!

Let’s look at the Holy Scriptures only for our doctrine of a biblical calendar. I had never noticed the word “chadash” before. Chadash, as “new”, Strong’s number 2319 only means new, but it’s root word is also Chadash, number 2318, that also means to renew or make new, which is exactly what Chodesh is, Strong’s number 2320 (TWOT1 # 613b), and it comes from this same root Chadash. These are LUNAR or MOON renewal terms in and of themselves, in their most basic meaning and usage.

But even more exciting than these terms is the Aramaic word YERACH or YERAH, Strong’s number 3391 (TWOT1 # 913b), which in its basic, foundational, plain literal meaning is LUNATION!! Lunation means the period between successive new moons. It literally means one lunar month. Merriam-Webster Dictionary, today, defines lunation as the period of time averaging 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes, and 2.8 seconds elapsing between two successive new moons. But we already know from Noah and his Great Flood that back in Genesis, the lunation was EXACTLY 30 days, 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds, or a perfect 360-day lunar, and a perfect 360-day solar, year. I believe the sun and moon were perfectly synchronized at the 360-day year. The planet Mars flyby in 701 BC altered the perfect biblical calendar to what we have today, a 365 1/4 day solar year and a 354 day lunar year. (; But don’t despair, from prophecy, we know another planetary flyby or earth strike will re-adjust the earth calendar back to the perfect 360-day biblical calendar for at least the final seven year Tribulation. You can research that for yourself in Genesis, Daniel, and Revelation.

Complete or full month, or month of days, is just one phase of YERACH’S meanings, no pun intended, but this Hebrew word basicly means the complete lunar cycle, the moon’s lunation! Now here’s a word, YERACH, Strong’s number 3391, that we need to take a serious look at! Since this word is found in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance and Dictionary, that means it’s found in the Holy Scriptures. This is a word we need to investigate only in the Holy Scriptures. We need not look at outside sources at all, but only look right inside our Holy Bible! We build our teachings, beliefs, doctrines, and theology from the Holy Scriptures, not from other books or websites, no matter how intriguing they may be. Sola Scriptura!

Of course, you know one of my primary ways of studying words is to find its “first use” in the Scriptures. Using this Bible study principle can save you a lot of headaches down the road of your believing life. So, where is this word found first? How about right at Moses’ birth, 80 years (c. 1563 BC) BEFORE the Exodus (c. 1484 BC)! Exodus 2:2, “The woman (Moses’ Mom) became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a healthy boy, she hid him for three lunations.” Well, there it is, folks, three lunar months tracked and counted by the Hebrew slaves in Egypt. The ancient Hebrew Israelites were enslaved in a sun-god worshiping nation, and were following a LUNAR calendar, the biblical lunar calendar, eighty years BEFORE the Exodus from Egypt. Folks, that demonstrates that the Hebrew children of Israel were fiercely holding to their beliefs in Yahweh, his word, and his biblical lunar calendar! Folks, that’s about 3,580 years ago, long before the aprocryphal books were ever written.

Let’s look at another example of the use of Yerah in Deuteronomy 21:13, the law regarding marrying female captives: “Then she will take off the clothes she was wearing when she was taken captive and she will remain in your house and mourn for her father and her mother a full lunation. After that you may make love to her and be her husband, and she will be your wife.” This is that month of days meaning, a lunation of days, the full lunar cycle, one lunar month!! And notice that this is Moses teaching the Torah to the children of Israel. I believe Moses learned the biblical lunar calendar from Yahweh and his Mom.

Another example is in Deuteronomy 33:13-15, where Moses is blessing the children of Joseph, “About Joseph, Moses said: May his land be blessed by Yahweh with the precious things of heaven, with the dew, and with the deep that lies beneath. 14 May his land be blessed with the precious things of the harvest of the sun, with the precious things of the produce of the lunations, 15 with the finest things of the ancient mountains, and with the precious things of the everlasting hills.” Food plants need the sun, but it is also important for the farmer or vinedresser to know how many lunations, or months, a plant needs for its growth and life cycle. That helps to know when to plant and harvest. Moses understood the agricultural importance of the moon’s lunations in relation to the harvest of crops! We must live by an agriculturally adjusted, luni-solar calendar. I will not delve further into that topic in this video.

The word is used twice, by none other than the wisest man in all of human history, King Solomon, in 1 Kings 6:37-38, “The foundation of the temple of Yahweh was laid in the fourth year (c. 967), in the lunation (yerach) of Ziv. 38 In the eleventh year (c. 960 BC), in the lunation of Bul, which is the eighth lunar month (chodesh), the temple was finished in all its parts and conforming to all its specifications. Solomon took seven years to build the temple.” Friends, sit back and re-read this passage as many times as you need to and understand that the wisest king in all of human history FOLLOWED A LUNAR CALENDAR WHILE BUILDING THE TEMPLE OF ALMIGHTY YAHWEH!!! Notice, Solomon uses the word year and lunation in the same sentence. We know our year is defined as one complete revolution of the earth around the sun. It doesn’t really matter how many lunar months are placed inside of a solar year. You could have 12 or 13 lunar months inside of a solar year. It does not matter, because Yahweh’s Feasts are held in the First, Third, and Seventh lunar months of the year. We can easily adjust the lunar calendar by intercalating a 13th month at the end of the lunar year to keep in sync with the solar seasons of the year. Meditate on 1 Kings 6:37-38 for as long as you need to, but let it soak into your spirit and help you settle your biblical calendar theology!

Our next example is in 1 Kings 8:2, “All the men of Israel assembled before King Solomon at the feast, in the lunation (yerach) of Ethanim, which is the seventh lunar month (chodesh).” So, what does this verse reveal to us? It shows that the most-wise King Solomon celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles, one of Yahweh’s commanded feasts, ACCORDING TO THE LUNAR CALENDAR! This was the day King Solomon had the priests place the Ark of the Covenant into the new Holy of Holies, the most holy place in the inner Temple. Are you now getting a biblical lunar calendar understanding? Notice, this has nothing to do with bowing down and worshiping the moon, it’s about using the moon to mark time, as your personal and national calendar! It’s not about using the moon to prognosticate about the future, it’s about using the moon as the timepiece Yahweh created it to be, so we can CELEBRATE HIS FEASTS ON HIS BIBLICAL LUNAR CALENDAR.

Our next example is found in 2 Kings 15:13, “Shallum son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year (c. 752 BC) of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigned only one lunation in Samaria.” This is another example of the lunar month of days meaning for the word yerach. Shallum only survived as king in the northern kingdom of Israel for one lunar month, 30 days. Verse 14 shows that Menahem killed him and became king of Israel in his place. Notice, this is still before the Mars flyby and several hundred years BEFORE any Pharisee or Sadducee drew his first breath. The official civil government of the kingdoms of Judah and Israel marked events of the kings of Israel according to the biblical lunar calendar. This is what the Holy Bible reveals to us, not what any outside source teaches us.

Our next example is found in Job 3:6, Job is lamenting his own birth, “As for that night, may thick darkness seize it. May it not rejoice among the days of the year; may it not come into the number of the lunations.” Job was a famous, powerful, successful and influential believer in his day. He understood that the solar year and the lunar month were timepiece measurements of the days of his life. I believe he was wishing that he had never been born. He was in a very rough time of his life. Job counted his months by the moon, plain and simple.

Our next example is found in Job 7:3 where Job continues to speak about his seemingly hopeless life, “so I have been made to endure lunations of misery; I have been given trouble-filled nights.” Job’s plight did not last just a few days, it was months and lunar months of affliction.

Our next example is found in Job 29:2-3, where he summarizes his defense, “Oh, that I were as I was in the past lunations when the Almighty cared for me, 3 when his lamp shined on my head, and when I walked through darkness by his light.” Do you see Job’s play on words? The moon gave Job light at night; just as Yahweh always had been Job’s spiritual light; he wants to believe Yahweh is still his light! Of course, Yahweh is our eternal spiritual light. Isaiah and Revelation reveal he will also be our “physical” light in the kingdom, though, on this side of eternity, we may not understand what that reality will be like.

Our next example is from Job 39:2, where Yahweh himself answers and grills Job, “Can you count the lunations that they (goats and deer) gestate? Do you know the time when they bear their young?” What a humbling experience for Job. May we all humble ourselves like Job, before our great and awesome Yahweh, our Creator and King. Do you see it? Here, YAHWEH HIMSELF speaks of his very own personal biblical lunar calendar!!! Yahweh knows Job must use the biblical lunar calendar to count the lunar months of a mammal’s gestation period. Yahweh’s biblical lunar calendar was not and is not a one-time fluke in Scripture!! It is the calendar of the Bible and of our natural world.

Now, I’m going to skip ahead to Zechariah 11:8, “In one lunation I destroyed the three shepherds, for I ran out of patience with them, and they hated me as well.” Read the whole Chapter 11, this is Yeshua speaking in the Old Covenant, which on that day, he was breaking the covenant between himself and Israel! This is not a month of days meaning, exactly. The word one is echad, so this may be saying He destroyed the three shepherds in one lunar month or in the first lunar month of the year, either translation would work.

Now, let’s go back and look at our final example in Isaiah 60:19-20, where we see the future glory of Israel, “The sun will no longer be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon (yareach) shine on you; but Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and your Almighty your glory. 20 Your sun will no longer set, nor will your lunation wane to conjunction; for Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be ended.”

I was so excited when I came to this verse, I couldn’t sleep! Read verse 20 carefully. Research it for yourself. I truly believe Yahweh revealed to me the final locked state of the physical universe, when He reveals Yeshua to the world. There is a day coming when the sun will no longer set and the moon will no longer go through its lunations! When Yahweh and the Lamb are the light of the world, literally fulfilled at the end of days. This appears to be after the Great White throne judgment of Revelation 20. Revelation 21:22-24, “I saw no temple in the city, for Lord Yahweh El Shaddai and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or the moon in order to shine on it, because the glory of Yahweh shone on it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 The ethno-linguistic nations will walk by the light of that city. The kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.”

That is the day we’re all looking for, when the universe will be locked in Yahweh’s glory forever! I chose the phrase in Isaiah 60:20, “wane to conjunction”, because the Hebrew word is “acaph” and can mean to take away, remove, withdraw, perish. When does the moon appear to do these things? When it goes into conjunction, once every lunation! One day soon, the moon’s lunations will cease. It will be locked into position for all eternity. There will be no more need for lunations, as we need now. We need the lunations now to know when to celebrate Yahweh’s feasts. Then, Yeshua himself will lead us to celebrate feasts when Yahweh desires! Until that glorious day, let’s use Yahweh’s biblical lunar calendar, so we can celebrate with him as biblically accurately as we can.

Now, for fun, let’s switch back to understanding how the Hebrews would have stated the “New Moon”. Contrary to what some teach, the Hebrews would not have said “Yareach Chadash” or “Chadash Yareach”, for New Moon. How do I know this? Well, thanks to my buddy priest and prophet Ezekiel, we know how the Hebrews stated the beginning of the New Year. Look at Ezekiel 40:1, “In the twenty-fifth year (c. 574 BC, Ezekiel’s Jubilee year) of our captivity at the beginning of the year (Rosh Hashanah) on the tenth of the lunar month, in the fourteenth year after the city was captured, on that same day, the hand of Yahweh was upon me and he took me there.” As far as I know, from my research, this is the ONLY place in the Tanach, the Old Covenant, where the phrase Rosh Hashanah is found. I found this phrase about nine years ago while doing my biblical chronology studies. This verse is locked in and synchronized with Ezekiel 1:1, the 30th year of the Jubilee Cycle! Ezekiel 40:1 reveals Ezekiel’s Jubilee year in 574 BC!

Anyway, notice Ezekiel did not write chadash hashanah, but rosh hashanah, the beginning of the year. Is it possible we could find the new moon expressed with similar language? Why YES! Yes we can! Most biblical calendar students begin their teachings with Exodus 12:2, so let’s go there first, “For you, this new moon will be the start of lunar months, the first new moon of the year to you.” That phrase, “start of lunar months” is in Hebrew, “Rosh Chodesh”!!! Whoa, is that beautiful or what!?! Moses, the great prophet like Ezekiel, uses Rosh instead of Chadash! So, is that the only example? No, we can find a couple more, at least.

Numbers 10:10, “Also, at the times of celebration, both your appointment calendar festivals and at the beginning of the lunar months, you must blow the trumpets in honor of your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices for your fellowship offerings. These will act as a reminder of you to me, your Almighty. I am Yahweh your Almighty.” Again, that is the phrase Rosh Chodesh!! The Hebrews said Rosh Chodesh, not Chadash Yareach!

Numbers 28:11, “At the beginning of each lunar month, you must offer a burnt offering to Yahweh. You must offer two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old without blemish.” Again, the phrase in Hebrew is “Rosh Chodesh”!!! You could just as easily translate these phrases as beginning of the new month(s), or beginning of the month(s), but I use lunar month(s) for emphasis. I do not see a solar calendar taught in the Scriptures as Yahweh’s biblical appointed Feasts calendar. It’s just not there in the Holy Scriptures, but a biblical lunar calendar is repeatedly taught and revealed.

Now, Psalm 104:19, makes more sense to me than it ever has: “He made the moon to mark the appointment calendar festivals; the sun knows its time for setting.” Now, this verse is a great confirmation verse to the biblical lunar calendar. Before today, to me at least, this verse stood out as a kind of oddity in the Scriptures. I had not found other Scriptures to help confirm and tie down a biblical lunar calendar. Well, I’m really convinced now, and I hope you are too. Yahweh did not have to create a moon and hang it out their in space just for us to use as a biblical calendar maker and marker, but he chose to do it, out of love for us. Is he the coolest Almighty Divine One or what? Yes, yes he is.

One, I believe, will take me a few more months to finish, another one may take a couple more years to finish. Can’t wait to share them with you once they are across the finished line!

Financial Obedience

Luke 16:10-13, “He who is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and he who is unrighteous in very little is also unrighteous in much. 11 If you have not been faithful in using unrighteous money, who will trust you with true wealth? 12 And if you have not been faithful in using other people’s money, who will give you money of your own? 13 No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve Yahweh and wealth.

Another way of stating the above principle is that you cannot do the right thing the wrong way, it is still sin. Think of it like this: Yahweh wants children to fill the earth, but he doesn’t want you making babies outside of marriage between a man and a woman. Making babies by fornication is like doing the right thing the wrong way. Yahweh does not want you to sin by fornicating to fill the earth with his children, which is His will and one of his goals. Fornication is a perversion of Yahweh’s gift of sex. It is sin, rebellion, and defiance against Yahweh. Doing what appears to be the right thing the wrong way is still sin.

Exodus 30:11-16 lays out the census or Temple offering teaching, “Yahweh spoke to Moses and said, 12 “When you take a census of the Israelites, then each person must give a ransom for his life to Yahweh. You must do this after you count them, so that there will be no plague among them when you count them. 13 Everyone who is counted in the census is to pay half a shekel of silver, according to the weight of the shekel of the sanctuary, a shekel is the same as twenty gerahs. This half a shekel of silver will be an offering to me, Yahweh. 14 Everyone who is counted, from twenty years old and up, must give this offering to me. 15 When the people give this offering to me to make atonement for their lives, the rich must not give more than half a shekel, and the poor must not give less. 16 You must receive this atonement money from the Israelites and you must allocate it to the work of the tent of meeting (or Temple). It must be a reminder to the Israelites before me, to make atonement for your lives.””

This Torah portion is what Yeshua was referring to in Matthew 17:24-27, “When they had come to Capernaum, the men who collected the half-shekel offering came to Peter and said, “Does not your teacher pay the half-shekel offering?” 25 He said, “Yes.” But when Peter went into the house, Yeshua spoke to him first and said, “What do you think, Simon? The kings on earth, from whom do they receive tax or tribute? From their own sons or from foreigners?” 26 When Peter said, “From foreigners,” Yeshua said to him, “Then the sons are exempt from paying. 27 But so that we do not cause the offering collectors to sin, go to the sea, throw in a hook, and draw in the fish that comes up first. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a shekel. Take it and give it to the offering collectors for me and you.

Now, I want to ask you some questions:

Did Yeshua tell Peter to go to the First National Bank of Capernaum to borrow the money? No, he did not.

Did Yeshua tell Peter to use a First National Bank of Capernaum credit card to pay the offering? No, he did not.

Did Yeshua tell Peter to run over to the local payday loan/check cashing business to get a quick loan to pay the offering? No, he did not.

Would Peter have been obedient if he had gone to the bankers for a loan or used his credit card to pay the offering? No, he would not have been.

Did Yeshua PROVIDE Peter the CASH to pay their offering? Yes, he did!

Did Yeshua or Peter really owe the Temple half-shekel offering? In reference to the Torah half-shekel offering teaching, yes, because they were Israelites. In reference to secular civil taxes or tribute, yes, they would have owed taxes or tribute, since they were not sons of the Roman Emperor. In reference to the Kingdom of Yahweh, no, the sons of the King are exempt.

Will we owe a Temple offering during the Millennial reign of Yeshua? I don’t know. Maybe, if there is a Millennial Temple that needs financial support. Are you a son of the King? It will be up to Yeshua, our King.

Can a piece of money really atone for our lives? No.

SHAVUOT – 2018

SHAVUOT – 2018

by the Book

Yahweh sets the theme of Leviticus 23 in verses 1 and 2, this chapter is about Yahweh’s appointment calendar festivals. Verse 3 defines and explains the weekly Sabbath as the FIRST of his festivals. Moses uses Strong’s # 7676 and 7677 to say that the weekly Sabbath is an intermission of special holiday, an intermission of cessation from regular work, a Sabbath Sabbathown. 7676 and 7677 are first used back in Exodus 16, where Yahweh resynchronizes the freed Hebrews with His weekly Sabbath. The context of Leviticus 23 has been set. Intermissions and cessations from regular work. 7676 and 7677 come from the root word 7673, used only once in Leviticus 23, in verse 32, in regards to observing (#7673) the Sabbath Day of Atonement.

In Leviticus 23:4-8, Yahweh discusses Passover/Unleavened bread/matsah. There is no mention of intermission of special holiday, but a cessation from servile and all business/employment type work. The words Sabbath and Sabbathown are NOT present in the Passover/ULB text. Aviv 15 and 21 are holy, set apart public assemblies or convocations, but NOT Sabbath or Sabbathown!!

Leviticus 23:9-14 discusses Day of Firstfruits. Sabbath is mentioned in verse 11, day after the Sabbath. According to the context of Leviticus 23 so far, what Sabbath is being talked about? It can ONLY mean the weekly 7th day Sabbath. In these verses, Sabbath is used 1 time, Sabbathown is NOT used at all.

Leviticus 23:15-22 discusses the Feast of Shavuot. Leviticus 23:15-17, “Beginning from the day after the Sabbath, that was the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count seven entire Sabbaths. 16 You must count fifty days, which would be the day after the seventh Sabbath. Then you must present an offering of new grain (wheat) to Yahweh. 17 You must bring out of your houses two loaves of wheat bread made from 4.5 liters of fine flour and baked with yeast; they will be a wave offering of the firstfruits to Yahweh.” So now, in our context of the Sabbath we see Moses say “from the day after the Sabbath”, he can ONLY mean the weekly Sabbath. NO other Sabbath has been mentioned, defined or discussed. Of course, the day after this weekly Sabbath was the Day of Firstfruits from verse 11, the Wave Sheaf Offering day, done by a Levitical priest, done as soon as possible after Passover Day. These Feasts are all wrapped up around the physical agricultural harvests, spring grains and fall fruits. When harvest time came, they did not delay taking sheaves to the priest to wave, because they wanted to get the harvest in to sell and eat. They did the harvest as efficiently as possible, for the most profit possible, but still strove to meet Yahweh’s religious law demands.

Verse 16, the day after the 7th Sabbath, 50 days after Day of Firstfruits, can ONLY be talking about the seventh-day Sabbath, according to the overall context of Leviticus 23. The weekly Sabbath, and ONLY the weekly Sabbath is mentioned three times in the discussion of the Feast of Shavuot. NO other Sabbath is under consideration, according to context. The word translated as weeks (Shavuot, Strong’s # 7620 from Exo. 34:22 and Deut. 16:9-10) is NOT found in verse 15 or 16. This is what causes me to believe that Shavuot will always be on a Sunday. The day after the 7th Sabbath will always be the first day of the week, or Sunday.

Now, please follow me on this train of thought. In verses 4-8, the discussion of Passover / Unleavened Bread, we see a 7-day period mentioned a couple times, but NO Sabbath or Sabbathown word is mentioned! But Abib 15 and 21 are both set apart, or holy, public assembly days. WHY did Moses NOT mention a Sabbath? Because all Hebrews KNOW that in any given 7-day period of time, the regular WEEKLY SABBATH occurs one time. The weekly Sabbath is ASSUMED to occur in verses 4-8. The weekly Sabbath context has already been set. Hebrews did not mention a word again in the same context, as a rule, but it was assumed, all Hebrews understood that way of communication. One Sabbath day occurs during Unleavened Bread, and it is ASSUMED that everyone will take the regular weekly Sabbath day off, they will completely cease from work and rest on the regular weekly Sabbath, even during harvest! A sabbath may be implied for Aviv 15 and 21, but it is NOT explicitly stated in Lev. 23. The only Sabbath that is explicitly stated is the regular weekly seventh day Sabbath, the one that had been occurring since creation week.

So, what do we gather (no pun intended) in understanding from this? Since we are in the harvest season, they wanted everything to click right along to get the grains in the barn. No wasted time, money, or energy, meant no wasted grain and more profit. So, the Sabbath day mentioned in verse 11 for the Day of Firstfruits could ONLY mean the 7th-day Sabbath during the 7-day period of Unleavened Bread. The context of Leviticus 23 is Sabbath, public assembly Festivals, and harvest! No wasted energy, words, or thoughts, or time, or money. Verse 14 really brings this home. Time pressure, efficiency of effort, obedience to Yahweh. “You must eat no bread, nor roasted or fresh grain, until the same day you have brought this offering to your Almighty. This will be a permanent statute throughout your people’s generations, in every place that you live.” They were NOT allowed to eat of the newly harvested barley grain, until the Wave Sheaf Offering was accomplished. Because of the expediency of the harvest season, that DAY, the day after the weekly Sabbath, could ONLY be referring to the 1st day of the week following the WEEKLY SABBATH THAT OCCURRED DURING THE WEEK OF UNLEAVENED BREAD. The context of Leviticus 23 makes this a solid Hebrew assumption. If Yahweh or Moses had meant SOMETHING DIFFERENT, they would have said something different.

Leviticus 23:21, “You must make a proclamation on that same day (Shavuot). There will be a holy assembly, and you must do no ordinary work. This will be a permanent statute throughout your people’s generations in all the places where you live.” Notice the holy assembly verbage is exactly the same as when he talked about the week of Unleavened Bread. Shavuot is NOT a Sabbath or intermission of rest, but it is a set apart day for the congregation of Israel to assemble together and celebrate our wonderful Creator and Savior. Yahweh and Moses proclaimed it. I proclaim it, let’s just do it!

We cannot keep, or observe, or obey these Feasts according to Torah anyway, since we have no temple, or Levitical priests, and we must go to Jerusalem to do them.

Exodus 34:18, 21-24, “You must keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you must eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointment calendar festival in the month of Aviv, for it was in the month of Aviv you came out from Egypt. . . 21 You may work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. Even at plowing time and in harvest, you must rest. 22 You must observe the Feast of Shavuot (Weeks) with the first yield of the wheat harvest, and you must observe the Feast of Ingathering (Sukkot/Tabernacles) at the year’s end. 23 All your men must appear before me, Lord Yahweh, the Almighty of Israel three times every year. 24 For I will drive out ethno-linguistic nations before you and expand your borders. No one will desire to invade your land and take it when you go up to appear before me, Yahweh your Almighty, three times every year.”

I encourage everyone to read Exodus 34:10-28, for I believe this is the first mention of the Feast of Shavuot. The principle of first mention is one of the best ways to interpret Scripture. Notice that Yahweh does NOT mention the REST, word # 7673, the root of Sabbath and Sabbathown, until verse 21, AFTER he has already talked about Feast of Unleavened Bread. WHY? Because the 7-day Feast of Matsah automatically has a 7th day Sabbath on one day during that 7 days. BUT he does mention the 7th day Sabbath REST just before talking about the Feast of Shavuot! WHY? Because it is counted from the day AFTER the weekly Sabbath that occurs during Unleavened, and it is wrapped up in SEVEN SABBATHS, the day AFTER the 7th Sabbath!

Let’s celebrate the Feast and our Almighty Yahweh and Savior Yeshua HaMashiach.

As I’ve written before, Deuteronomy 16 comes AFTER Exodus and Leviticus and can ONLY supplement the Feast teaching, NOT supplant it. Notice that in the discussion of the Feasts in Deuteronomy 16 that the Sabbath words are NOT mentioned at all, not 7676, 7677, nor 7673 the root. WHY? Because they have ALREADY BEEN DISCUSSED and DEFINED many decades before in Exodus and Leviticus! That is why Moses could use a different word, # 7620, that just means sevened, or weeks. The Hebrews ALREADY KNOW the Sabbath schedule, so IT IS ASSUMED in Deuteronomy, at the END of the 40-year wilderness wandering. That’s just how Hebrews think, talk, and write. Deuteronomy 16:9-10, “You will count seven weeks for yourselves; from the time you begin to put the scythe to the standing grain you must start counting seven weeks. 10 You must keep the Feast of Shavuot for Yahweh your Almighty with the contribution of a freewill offering from your hand that you will give, according as Yahweh your Almighty has blessed you.” The starting point, or day, for counting to Shavuot is expressed with different words here in Deut. 16. WHY? Because the starting point, or day, or hour, or minute, has ALREADY BEEN DEFINED AND STATED, many decades earlier in Leviticus 23. They would put the scythe to the grain, IMMEDIATELY AFTER the Wave Sheaf Offering, on the DAY AFTER THE WEEKLY SABBATH that naturally occurred during the 7 days of Unleavened Bread. No waste, but leave some gleanings for us poor folk. Perfectly efficient, perfectly wonderful Feasts!

Deuteronomy 16:16-17, “Three times in a year all your males must appear before Yahweh your Almighty at the place that he will choose: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Shavuot, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and they will not appear before Yahweh empty-handed; 17 instead, every man will give as he is able, that you might know the blessing that Yahweh your Almighty has given to you.”

Daniel dates his Chapter Eight prophecies for us in Daniel 8:1, “In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar (approximately 549 BC), I, Daniel, had a vision appear to me, after the one that appeared to me at first.”

The angel plainly tells Daniel that the vision of the ram and goat is for the time of the end, Daniel 8:17,19,So he came near where I stood. When he came, I was frightened and prostrated myself on the ground. He said to me, “Understand, son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.” 19 He said, “See, I will show you what will happen later in the time of wrath, because the vision concerns the appointed time for the end.”

The prophecy we are interested in is the 2,300 evening-morning prophecy, Daniel 8:9-14,Out of one of them grew another horn, little at first, but which became very large in the south, in the east, and in the land of beauty. 10 It became so large as to engage in war with the army of heaven. Some of that army and some of the stars were thrown down to the earth, and it trampled on them. 11 It made itself to be as great as the commander of the army. It took away from him the regular (twice-daily) burnt offering, and the place of his sanctuary was polluted. 12 Because of rebellion, the army will be given over to the goat’s horn, and the (twice-daily) burnt offering will be stopped. The horn will throw truth down to the ground, and it will succeed in what it does. 13 Then I heard a holy one speaking and another holy one answering him, “How long will these things last, this vision about the burnt offering, the sin that brings destruction, the handing over of the sanctuary, and heaven’s army being trampled on?” 14 He said to me, “It will last for 2,300 evenings and mornings. After that the sanctuary will be put right.” (2,300 twice-daily sacrifices = 1,150 days, see Exodus 29:38-42)”

The fact that it’s exactly 1,150 days being spoken about is nailed firmly down by Fred P. Miller in his article at: and by Rick Lanser, MDiv, of Associates for Biblical Research, in his article at:

1,150 days is the length of the prophetic event that was to happen in the future from Daniel, not a calculated duration of time from Daniel’s time to the beginning of some future prophetic event. As Mr. Miller and Mr. Lanser point out, the exact begin and end dates of Daniel’s abomination event is known from the Book of Maccabees. About 400 years after Daniel received this vision the abomination event of Antiochus IV Epiphanes began exactly on Kislev 15, 167 BC (Jewish year 3595), according to 1 Maccabees 1:54, “On the fifteenth day of Chislev in the (Seleucid) year 145 the king built the appalling abomination on top of the altar of burnt offering; and altars were built in the surrounding towns of Judah” Daniel proclaimed 400 years earlier that this event would last exactly 2,300 evening-morning, or 1,150 days and ended on Kislev 25, 164 BC (Jewish year 3598), according to 1 Maccabees 4:52-53, “On the twenty-fifth of the ninth month, Chislev, in the (Seleucid) year 148 they rose at dawn (53) and offered a lawful sacrifice on the new altar of burnt offering which they had made.”

I’ve written previously establishing that Seleucid year 145 is equal to 167 BC, so I won’t elaborate on that again.

We see that there are 3, 360-day years, from 167 to 164 BC, plus the 10 days from the 15th to the 25th of the same month, plus 2 intercalary 30-day months to keep the seasons in line with the sun, giving us exactly 1,150 days of Daniel’s prophecy, calculated as follows:

3 X 360-day years = 1,080 days

plus 10 days + 10 days

plus 2 30-day months + 60 days

TOTAL = 1,150 days

Never doubt that the Holy Scriptures and Yahweh’s holy angels and prophets prophesy exactly. There is no doubt, there is no error in Bible prophecy, only precise accuracy. You can trust Yahweh’s Word, so you know you can trust Yahweh.

No one, including Daniel, understood the vision in Daniel’s day. Most humans today still don’t understand Daniel Chapter 8 visions and prophecy. Mr. Miller and Mr. Lanser mention that Daniel predicted a Greek calendar hundreds of years ahead of time, but I want you to know Yahweh is Hebrew, the angel is Hebrew, Daniel is Hebrew, the Maccabees were Hebrew. The Maccabees hated the Greeks for trying to destroy Jews and Judaism. None of these people are interested in a Greek 360-day calendar. The prophecy and the days calculations also work in the Hebrew prophetic 360-day biblical calendar. All the prophecies in the Bible can be understood according to Yahweh’s biblical Hebrew calendar.

Daniel 8:26, “The vision about the evenings and mornings that has been told is true. But seal up the vision, for it refers to many days in the future.” Antiochus IV Epiphanes, as a type of anti-messiah may have fulfilled Daniel’s 2,300 evening-morning prophecy back in 167-164 BC, but we understand from the New Covenant that we will see a similar abomination of desolation again in the end times that we live in. Daniel chapter 8 is very clear that his prophesies concern the end of time, not just Antiochus’ time. Yeshua predicted it in Matthew 24:15, “Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy of holies” (let the reader understand),”

Paul understood Yeshua’s prophecy,

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4,”Now about the coming of our Lord Yeshua Messiah and our being gathered together to be with him: We ask you, brothers, 2 that you not be easily disturbed or troubled, either by a spirit, by a message, or by a letter that seems to be coming from us, to the effect that the day of Messiah has already come. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not come until after the falling away comes, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. 4 This is he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called Yahweh or that is worshiped. As a result, he as Yahweh sits in the temple of Yahweh and exhibits himself as Yahweh.”

I encourage you to read all of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. The end rapidly approaches. Are you ready to meet your Maker, Yahweh? Repent of your sins, ask Yeshua to save you today.

At this very moment we are waiting for Daniel’s Chapter 8 war between the West and Iran/Iraq. We’ve already whipped Iraq, now we (America, Israel, and our allies) will whip Iran, just before America is destroyed. There is no time to waste, repent of your sin today, this second.

John 6:1-71, “After these things, Yeshua went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee, also called the Sea of Tiberias. 2 A great crowd was following him because they saw the signs that he was doing on those who were sick. 3 Yeshua went up the mountain and there he sat down with his disciples. 4 Now the Passover, the Jewish appointment calendar festival, had recently been celebrated. 5 When Yeshua looked up and saw a great crowd coming to him, he said to Philip, “Where are we going to buy bread so that these may eat?” 6 But Yeshua said this to test Philip, for he himself knew what he was going to do. 7 Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be sufficient for each one to have even a little.” 8 One of the disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, said to Yeshua, 9 “There is a boy here who has five bread loaves of barley and two fish, but what are these among so many?” 10 Yeshua said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was a lot of grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number. 11 Then Yeshua took the loaves and after giving thanks, he gave it to those who were sitting. He did the same with the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 When the people were filled, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces which remain, so that nothing will be lost.” 13 So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten. 14 Then, when the people saw this sign that he did, they said, “This truly is the prophet who is to come into the world.” 15 When Yeshua realized that they were about to come and seize him by force to make him king, he withdrew again up the mountain by himself. 16 When it became evening, his disciples went down to the sea. 17 They got into a boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was dark by this time, and Yeshua had not yet come to them. 18 And a strong wind was blowing, and the sea was getting rough. 19 When they had rowed about 4 or 5 kilometers, they saw Yeshua walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were afraid. 20 But he said to them, “It is I! Do not be afraid.” 21 Then they were willing to receive him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the land where they were going. 22 The next day, the crowd that had been standing on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there except the one, and that Yeshua had not entered it with his disciples but that his disciples had gone away alone. 23 However, there were some boats that came from Tiberias close to the place where they had eaten the bread loaves after the Lord had given thanks. 24 When the crowd discovered that neither Yeshua nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into the boats and went to Capernaum seeking Yeshua. 25 After they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?” 26 Yeshua replied to them, saying, “Truly, truly, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate some of the bread loaves and were filled. 27 Do not work for the food that perishes, but work for the food that endures to eternal life which the Son of Man will give you, for Yahweh the Father has set his seal on him. 28 Then they said to him, “What must we do, so that we may do the works of Yahweh?” 29 Yeshua replied and said to them, “This is the work of Yahweh: That you believe in the one whom he has sent.” 30 So they said to him, “What sign then will you do, so that we may see and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” (See Exodus 16:4, Neh 9:15; Psa 105:40) 32 Then Yeshua replied to them, “Truly, truly, it was not Moses who gave you the bread out of heaven, but it is my Father who is giving you the true unleavened bread from heaven. 33 For the unleavened bread of Yahweh is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. 34 So they said to him, “Sir, give us this unleavened bread always.” 35 Yeshua said to them, I am the unleavened bread of life; he who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. 36 But I told you that indeed you have seen me, and you do not believe. 37 Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and he who comes to me I will certainly not throw out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I would lose not one of all those whom he has given me, but will raise them up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him would have eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day. 41 Then the Jews grumbled about him because he had said, I am the unleavened bread that has come down from heaven.” 42 They said, “Is not this Yeshua, son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?” 43 Yeshua replied and said to them, “Stop grumbling among yourselves. 44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up on the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘Everyone will be taught by Yahweh.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from Yahweh, he has seen the Father. 47 Truly, truly, he who believes has eternal life. 48 I am the unleavened bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50 This is the unleavened bread which comes down from heaven, so that a person may eat some of it and not die. 51 I am the living unleavened bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats some of this unleavened bread, he will live forever. The unleavened bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world. 52 The Jews became angry among themselves and began to argue, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 Then Yeshua said to them, “Truly, truly, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have life in yourselves. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and as I live because of the Father, so he who eats me, he will also live because of me. 58 This is the unleavened bread that has come down from heaven, not as the fathers ate and died. He who eats this unleavened bread will live forever. 59 But Yeshua said these things in the synagogue while he was teaching in Capernaum (SABBATH?). 60 Then many of his disciples who heard this said, “This is a difficult teaching; who can accept it?” 61 Yeshua, because he knew in himself that his disciples were grumbling at this, said to them, “Does this offend you? 62 Then what if you should see the Son of Man going up to where he was before? 63 It is the Ruach who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Yeshua knew from the beginning who were the ones that would not believe and who it was who would betray him. 65 He said, “It is because of this that I said to you that no one can come to me unless it is granted to him by the Father.” 66 Because of this, many of his disciples went away and no longer walked with him. 67 Then Yeshua said to the twelve, “You do not want to go away also, do you?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have (rhema) words of eternal life, 69 and we have believed and come to know that you are the Messiah, the Son of living Yahweh. 70 Yeshua said to them, “Did not I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” 71 Now he spoke of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, for it was he, one of the twelve, who would betray Yeshua.”
