The Copy of the Torah

The Copy of the Torah

All Scripture is taken from my new Son Of Man Bible, the SOMB.bblx, e-Sword module, available on www.biblesupport.com. E-sword is available at e-sword.net.

Exodus 24:12, “Yahweh said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay there. I will give you the polished tablets of stone and the Torah and commandments that I have written, so that you may teach them.”” There is no mention of a monetary transaction or contract for money, it looks like Yahweh is promising a gift to Moses and the children of Israel.

Exodus 31:18, “When the Almighty had finished talking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him two polished tablets of covenant decrees, made of stone, written on by his own hand.” When Yahweh actually handed the polished tablets of the 10 commandments to Moses, no money exchanged hands. Yahweh did not charge any fee, no price could suffice, for his holy commandments. Unfortunately, right after this, the children of Israel fell in the golden calf incident. Moses was so angry he threw down the tablets and broke them. You know the saying, you break it, you buy it.

Well, Moses still didn’t have to buy the broken Torah tablets, but he did have to hew out his own new stone tablets and polish them!! That may have taken a couple days. Exodus 34:1, “Yahweh said to Moses, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first tablets. I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets, the polished tablets that you broke.” Go ahead and read all of chapter 34 of Exodus, Yahweh didn’t charge for the 10 commandments or the polished stone tablets, but make no mistake, they cost Moses, but it was well worth the cost!! What sweet fellowship he had with Yahweh. I challenge you to do a word search for “tablets” and see all the references to the tablets of the 10 commandments and how many times Moses repeated that Yahweh gave the 10 commandments to him and the children of Israel. It was the summary of the covenent, kept in the Ark of the Covenant. Neither Yahweh nor Moses ever sold the Torah to anyone. Neither Yahweh nor Moses are hucksters or peddlers of Yahweh’s word.

40 years later, Moses was speaking instruction regarding Israel’s future kings:

Deuteronomy 17:17-20, “He must not take many wives for himself, so that his heart does not turn away. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold. 18 When he sits on the throne of his kingdom, he must write for himself in a scroll a copy of this Torah, from the Torah that is before the priests, who are Levites. 19 The scroll must be with him, and he must read in it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to honor Yahweh his Almighty, so as to keep all the words of this Torah and these statutes, to observe them. 20 He must do this so that his heart is not lifted up above his brothers, and so that he does not turn away from the commandments, to the right hand or to the left; for the purpose that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children, among Israel.”

Notice, the kings of Israel were to borrow a Torah scroll from the priests of Israel and write their own copy of the Torah for themselves to read. No mention is made that the King had to buy or rent a Torah scroll from the priests. Verse 17 had just told the kings not to accumulate a lot of money, so apparently, they were not to sell their copied Torah scroll for money.

After defeating the city of Ai, Joshua built an altar to Yahweh for him and the children of Israel to sacrifice and make offerings to Yahweh. Then Joshua did something on the stones of the altar:

Joshua 8:32, “There, in the presence of the people of Israel, he wrote on the stones a copy of the Torah of Moses.” Verses 34-35 then show Joshua reading the entire Torah to the people of Israel. He didn’t sell it to them. Joshua was not a huckster or peddler of the Word.

We’ve been over Paul’s teaching in 2 Corinthians 2. Paul was in good company. He was not a huckster or peddler of Yahweh’s word:

2 Corinthians 2:17, “For we are not like so many people peddling the word of Yahweh for profit. Instead, with purity of motives, we speak in Messiah, as we are sent from Yahweh, in the sight of Yahweh.”

To charge money for the Word of Yahweh, or not to charge money for the Word of Yahweh, that is the QUESTION! How will you answer it?

Yeshua is not a marketing campaign or gimmick. Yeshua is not a product. Yeshua is the King of kings and Lord of lords. I bet he has a copy of His own Torah right there with him in the throne room of heaven. Would you dare to walk into the throne room of heaven and try to hustle Yahweh or Yeshua by hawking your latest book, CD, DVD, or youtube teaching? My knees buckle just at the thought of man’s arrogance to try something like that.

I fully agree with Copyright law, for works of men. But I don’t believe anyone has the right to copyright the Word of Yahweh. Think about it. Yahweh inscribed the 10 Commandments, the Torah Covenant with Israel, with his own finger on his own hewn polished stone tablets. The minute He inscribed those words in stone, He owned the copyright for all eternity. I bet His original rock solid Torah is older than any one of your copies. The moment we copy, print, publish, and sell a copyrighted Bible, we break Yahweh’s law. We become lawbreakers, thieves, crooks, criminals, peddlers, sheep fleecers. I highly recommend that anyone involved in this copyrighted Bible marketing scam repent immediately and ask Yahweh’s forgiveness. Judgment Day is just around the corner. It will be too late to repent then.

You can still copyright your material if you want to, but why not release it under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International Public License? Copyright is an access control mechanism, not a price control mechanism. Yahweh freely gave Moses and others His Word. What did Yeshua instruct his disciples in Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Do a Bible word search on the word “freely”. It will help you.

What did Paul say in 2 Corinthians 11:7, “Did I sin by humbling myself so you might be exalted? For I freely preached the gospel of Yahweh to you.”

What did John the Revelator say? Revelation 22:17, “The Ruach and the Bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come, and whoever desires it, let him freely have the water of life.” Read the rest of Chapter 22. Selling Yahweh’s Word cheapens the priceless gift!

Read Isaiah 55.

Hosea’s Third Day Prophecy

Hosea’s Third Day Prophecy

Gene Benjamin II

January 21, 2015 AD

(Updated July 19, 2017)

All Scripture is taken from my new Unlocked Literal Bible – Sacred Name Version, original work available at www.unfoldingword.org.

I’m sure you’ve heard some prophecy preacher or teacher talk about 2 Peter 3:1-4, but let’s review, because I want to show you that things have not stayed the same from the beginning of time: 2 Peter 3:1-4, “Now, I am writing to you, beloved, this second letter as a reminder to stir up your sincere mind, 2 so that you will recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command of our Lord and Savior given through your apostles. 3 Know this first, that mockers will come in the last days. They will mock and proceed according to their own desires. 4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his return? From when our fathers fell asleep, all things have stayed the same, since the beginning of creation.””

Let’s lay just a little groundwork first. Peter teaches us that 1,000 years is as a day to Yahweh and a day is as a thousand years. 2 Peter 3:8, “It should not escape your notice, beloved, that one day with Yahweh is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.” Peter got that concept from a prayer of Moses in Psalm 90:4, “For a thousand years in your sight are as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.” So, let’s get that in our thinking first. One thousand human years is one day in the Heavenly Kingdom of Yahweh.

Another concept we need to understand from Scripture is that Yahweh’s calendar is based on a 30 day month, 360 day year. Read the story of Noah to confirm that, and the Book of Daniel and Revelation. The 42 months, 3 ½ years, and 1,260 days of the Great Tribulation all prove a 30 day month and 360 day year. Yahweh does not live by the Catholic Gregorian solar calendar, He lives by His own biblical calendar. So, at any time we expect an endtime astronomical event to adjust our calendar back to a 30 day month and 360 day year.

Another concept that many of us prophecy students adher to is that of the week of 7,000 years of human history. Each 1,000 years is a kingdom day in the human week of biblical existence. I believe we’ve come to the end of the 6th day and are entering the 7th day of the Millennial Kingdom and soon the reign of Yeshua on earth. The last 6,000 years of human government is coming to an end, and Yahweh’s 7th day of rest for 1,000 years with Yeshua on the throne in Jerusalem is soon to occur. Believers, it’s time to enter into His rest!!

In regards to Hosea’s third day prophecy: Hosea 6:1-2, “Come, let us return to Yahweh. For he has torn us to pieces, but he will heal us; he has injured us, but he will bandage our wounds. 2 After two days he will revive us; he will raise us up on the third day, and we will live before him. I want to share with you what Yahweh showed me a few years ago, but first a comment on the calculations. 2017 – 30 = 1,987 years have passed since Yeshua’s resurrection and ascension. So if Yahweh gives Israel 13 more years, that’ll bring us to 2029/2030. The calculations are correct, but Yahweh doesn’t use a Gentile calendar. Think this through, according to Hosea 6:1-2, we’ll be resurrected on day 3, not on day 2, so we cannot be raptured/resurrected before 2029/2030. A day 2 resurrection/rapture would break Scripture and prophecy.

But, Genesis, Daniel and Revelation teach us that Yahweh uses a perfect biblical prophetic calendar of 360-day years. 2,000 years of 360 days = 720,000 days. So, how does this work out on our Gregorian calendar? Modern computers and calendar programs sure have helped in tying down Scriptural events. You have probably heard of astronomers using Julian days to count all days back into the distant past. Well, I use a website www.abdicate.net that uses what they call Serial Day Numbers, or SDNs, to number all days back into the distant past.

Yeshua was crucified on Passover, Nisan 14, 30 AD, which was a Wednesday, April 3, 30 AD Gregorian (April 5, 30, Julian), serial day number 1,732,110. Exactly 3 days after being placed in the tomb, Yeshua was raised from the dead, at the end of Sabbath, right at sundown on April 6, 30 AD Gregorian, (or April 8, Julian), SDN 1,732,113. That evening at Yeshua’s resurrection began the day of Feast of First Fruits, Sunday, April 7, 30 AD Gregorian, or (April 9, Julian). Yeshua was resurrected on First Fruits, to fulfill prophecy (1 Corinthians 15:20, 23). So what? Well, on the First Fruits Sunday during Passover week (week of Unleavened Bread), the Hebrews begin their Omer count of 50 days unto the Feast of Shavuot, or Pentecost. The Jews celebrate Shavuot commemorating the giving of the Torah on Mt. Sinai. We Hebraic roots believers in Messiah Yeshua, celebrate Pentecost as the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2, the BIRTH DAY of the Renewed Covenant Assembly of Yeshua HaMashiach!! Well, 50 days from Yeshua’s resurrection on Sabbath, April 6, 30 AD Gregorian, brings us to Sunday, May 26, 30 AD Gregorian, or (May 28, Julian), SDN 1,732,163. The Feast of Weeks, or Shavuot, is 7 Shabuas, or complete Sabbath weeks of 7 days each, then the next day, the 50th day, is ALWAYS on Sunday, the next day (a mini picture of the Jubilee cycle)!

So what? Well, add the 720,000 perfect prophetic TWO days (2,000 biblical years) to serial day 1,732,163 and you come to SDN 2,452,163. So what? Well, that day just happened to be Monday, September 10, 2001 AD!! The next day was September 11, 2001, the day that literally changed the history of the world, the Assembly, and biblical prophecy. September 11, 2001, was the first day of the 7th Millennium, and the beginning of judgment on America. It was the beginning of birth pains that Yeshua mentioned in Mt. 24:8. WE ARE NOW IN THE 3RD DAY of Hosea, so the Great Tribulation, Yeshua Advent 2.0 ©, and the rapture/resurrection of the saints can happen according to Yahweh’s perfect plan and on His calendar!!

When Yahweh showed me this, I was speechless. I could only cry and bless Him in my heart!

Hosea’s third day prophecy is also confirmed in the story of King Hezekiah’s sickness. 2 Kings 20:5, “Turn back, and say to Hezekiah, the leader of my people, ’This is what Yahweh, the Almighty of David your ancestor, says: “I have heard your prayer, and I have seen your tears. I am about to heal you on the third day, and you will go up to the temple of Yahweh.””

Amen!! Come Master Yeshua! Bless you Father!

To double check the accuracy of this calendar calculator, let’s check the Sabbaths from last Shabbat, Saturday, July 15, 2017, SDN 2,457,950 minus Yeshua’s resurrection Sabbath, SDN 1,732,113 = 725,837 days difference divided by 7 days = exactly 103,691 Sabbaths since Yeshua’s resurrection!!

So, be awake, worship Yahweh our King, expect the Great Tribulation to break out anytime, look for Yeshua’s return!!

Is This The Time?

Is This The Time?

Yahweh won’t let me get past this peddling of the Gospel thing just yet. Paul told us that the things that happened to folks under the Old Covenant happened as examples for us, 1 Corinthians 10:6 and 11, “Now these things were examples for us, so we would not long for evil things as they did. . . . 11 Now these things happened to them as examples for us. They were written for our instruction—for us on whom the end of the ages has come.” So, let’s look at one story in 2 Kings 5 in my new ULB-SNV (original Bible work available at http://www.unfoldingword.org) and see what Yahweh wants us to learn to do or not to do in this chapter:

2Ki 5:1-27, “Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Aram, was a great and honorable man in his master’s view, because by him Yahweh had given victory to Aram. He was also a strong, courageous man, but he was a leper. 2 The Arameans had gone out raiding in bands and had taken a little girl from the land of Israel. She served Naaman’s wife. 3 The girl said to her mistress, “I wish that my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! Then he would heal my master of his leprosy.” 4 So Naaman went in and told the king what the little girl from the land of Israel had said. 5 So the king of Aram said, “Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” Naaman left and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of clothes. 6 He also took the letter to the king of Israel that said, “Now when this letter is brought to you, you will see that I have sent Naaman my servant to you, so that you may cure him of his leprosy.” 7 When the king of Israel had read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, “Am I the Almighty, to kill and to make alive, that this man wants me to cure a man of his leprosy? It seems he is seeking to start an argument with me.” 8 So when Elisha the man of the Almighty heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent word to the king saying, “Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come now to me, and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel.” 9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariots and stood at the door of Elisha’s house. 10 Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and dip yourself into the Jordan seven times, and your flesh will be restored; you will be clean.” 11 But Naaman was angry and went away and said, “Look, I thought he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of Yahweh his Almighty, and wave his hand over the place and heal my leprosy. 12 Are not Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Can I not bathe in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage. 13 Then Naaman’s servants came near and spoke to him, “My father, if the prophet had commanded you do some difficult thing, would you not have done it? How much rather then, when he says to you to simply, ‘Dip yourself and be clean?’” 14 Then he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, obeying the instructions of the man of the Almighty. His flesh was restored again like the flesh of a little child, and he was healed. 15 Naaman returned to the man of the Almighty, he and all his company, and came and stood before him. He said, “Look, now I know that there is no Divine One in all the earth except in Israel. So therefore, please take a gift from your servant.” 16 But Elisha replied, “As Yahweh lives, before whom I stand, I will receive nothing.” Naaman urged Elisha to take a gift, but he refused. . (skip verses) . .19 Elisha said to him, “Go in peace.” So Naaman left. 20 He had traveled only a short distance, when Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of the Almighty said to himself, “Look, my master has spared this Naaman the Aramean by not receiving from his hands gifts that he brought. As Yahweh lives, I will run after him and receive something from him.” 21 So Gehazi followed after Naaman. When Naaman saw someone running after him, he jumped down from his chariot to meet him and said, “Is everything alright?” 22 Gehazi said, “Everything is alright. My master has sent me, saying, ‘See, now there have come to me from the hill country of Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of clothes.’” 23 Naaman replied, “I am very happy to give you two talents.” Naaman urged Gehazi and tied two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothes, and laid them on two of his servants, who carried the bags of silver before Gehazi. 24 When Gehazi came to the hill, he took the bags of silver from their hands and hid them in the house; he sent the men away, and they left. 25 When Gehazi went in and stood before his master, Elisha said to him, “Where have you come from, Gehazi?” He answered, “Your servant went nowhere.” 26 Elisha said to Gehazi, “Was not my spirit with you when the man turned his chariot to meet you? Is this a time to accept money and clothes, olive orchards and vineyards, sheep and oxen, and male servants and female servants? 27 So the leprosy of Naaman will be on you and your descendants forever.” So Gehazi went out from his presence, a leper as white as snow.”

It’s easy to see that Gehazi’s greed destroyed his life. But, if you’re a healing evangelist, should you charge money for healing someone? No, of course not. But is it ok to take an offering to support your ministry? Yes, of course. Why did Elisha refuse payment from Naaman? Because he didn’t want Naaman to think he could buy miracles from Yahweh. Yahweh’s miracles are a free gift to mankind. Naaman should have just thanked Yahweh for healing him. Why didn’t Elisha tell Naaman to go up to the Temple in Jerusalem and show himself to the priests, like Yeshua told the healed lepers in Luke 17:11-19? I don’t know, but someday we can ask him. I believe he didn’t make Naaman go up to the Temple because Naaman was a foreigner living outside of the land of Israel, the Israeli leper laws did not apply to him. Do you think Naaman will be in Yeshua’s kingdom? I believe he will. So, just be thankful to Yahweh for all his miracles and blessings. Gratitude is the best attitude.
