Length of a Generation

Length of a Generation

I don’t believe Yahweh equates a generation with the length of a life.

Genesis 5, before the flood, generations were much longer in length. Noah didn’t begin having children until he was 500 years old!! Genesis 5:32 (NKJV) “And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.”

Immediately after the flood, men began to beget sons at a much younger age, Genesis 11:10 (NKJV) “This is the genealogy of Shem: Shem was one hundred years old, and begot Arphaxad two years after the flood.” Genesis 11:12 (NKJV) “Arphaxad lived thirty-five years, and begot Salah.” Read the rest of chapter 11 and you see young men having babies in their late twenties and early thirties. I believe that Yahweh wants us to understand that a generation is defined by our child-bearing years, our twenties, thirties, and forties. This has remained unchanged since the Flood, about 4,460 years.

Numbers 32:13 (NKJV) “So Yahweh’s anger was aroused against Israel, and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation that had done evil in the sight of Yahweh was gone.” Granted, by the end of the 40 years in the wilderness, some of the guys dying at the end were anywhere from 60 to 200 years old, but they weren’t having babies anymore!

Deuteronomy 2:14 (NKJV) “And the time we took to come from Kadesh Barnea until we crossed over the Valley of the Zered was thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war was consumed from the midst of the camp, just as Yahweh had sworn to them.”

Job 42:16 (NKJV) “After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations.” Notice Job saw 4 generations within a 140-year time span. And this was after he had already lost his first-round generation of children, born to him in his youth.

Psalm 95:10 (NKJV) “For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.’“

Abraham and the other patriarchs lived to great ages, but read the whole story of the birth of Isaac. It was an on purpose miracle that Yahweh performed for Abe and Sarah. Genesis 21:5 (NKJV) “Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.” Abraham’s and Sarah’s ages at Isaac’s birth were outside of the norm for childbirth.
Let’s not forget to include the Scripture reference for generations in Abraham’s day, Genesis 15:13-16 (NKJV) Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. . . . 16But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” Yahweh seems to indicate here that in Abraham’s day, one generation was 100 years. The four generations Genesis 15:16 refers to, in my opinion, was Levi, Moses’ Great-grandfather, who moved to Egypt with his father Jacob, Levi begat Kohath, Moses’ Grandfather, Kohath begat Amram, Moses’ father, Amram begat Moses, who led the children of Israel out of Egypt. Exodus 12:40 (NKJV) “Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt [and Canaan] was four hundred and thirty years.” The Dead Sea Scrolls state that Levi was 48 when he moved to Egypt with Jacob and his brothers. That means Levi lived in Canaan and Egypt, thus fulfilling Exodus 12:40 exactly.

In Exodus 2 and Acts 7:23-24 we find out that Moses was 40 years old when he killed the Egyptian and escaped to the wilderness of Midian. There, he married and had his children, when he was between the ages of 40 – 80 years old. So Psalms 90:10 may relate in Moses’ case: (NKJV) “The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”

Think now about our day, high school kids having babies. One generation now may be just 15 to 20 years. So now we have to figure out if generations are relative in general or is there a real biblical generation standard that we can use? This is why we keep looking into the perfect law of liberty.

I’ll keep looking at generations in the Scriptures, but it seems that Yahweh considers one generation as a father and his sons. So each set of fathers and sons is a generation. Look at the overview as humanity has more years in sin. Back in Adam’s day, a generation may have been 900 years. In Noah’s day, 500 years. In Abraham’s day, it may have been 100 years in length. In Moses’ day, 70 years. In David’s day, 40 years. It’s an interesting study and does affect our outlook on prophecy. We Americans just have to remember not to confuse the fall of America with the end times, centered in Israel and the Middle East. America is Mystery Babylon and will unfortunately fall rapidly, suddenly, and violently. As we go down the toilet, we suck most of the rest of the world down with us, setting the stage for the Antichrist to consolidate power in a new world order/one world order.

Yeshua mentions a generation in His parable of the fig tree in His Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24:32-35 (NKJV) “”Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near–at the doors! 34Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” This passage of Scripture begs the question, which generation is Yeshua talking about?

All students of the Scriptures know that the fig tree is the Hebrew nation of Israel. The branch of course is the tribe of Judah, those who moved back to Israel and declared and fought for her independence in 1948 CE. Israel was tender then, and was tender for many years. She was still tender during the Suez Canal War in 1956. Israel did not begin to expand and put forth leaves until the Six Day War of 1967. From that summer forward, Israel had a little real estate breathing room. Of course, the stupid leadership of Israel immediately began to give their recently conquered land back to her enemies. Israel was not quite as tender in 1973 during the Yom Kippur War. She could have easily conquered Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. She should have.

If a generation is only about 40 years in length, was Yeshua talking about the generation that saw Israel become a new nation? Apparently not, we are 64+ years past that generations’ time. But that generation, our parent’s and grandparent’s generation, had an obligation to recognize the prophetic significance of Israel becoming a nation again, the first in human history to ever do that. That generation had an obligation to tell us, the last generation on earth as we know it. Psalm 48 correlates to 1948 CE. Read what it has to say on this matter. Read the whole Psalm, but here’s the verses we want to notice today: Psalm 48:11-13 (NKJV) Let Mount Zion rejoice, Let the daughters of Judah be glad, Because of Your judgments. 12Walk about Zion, And go all around her. Count her towers; 13Mark well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces; That you may tell it to the generation following.” Look at that word “following”. It has a powerful meaning for us today. It is Strong’s number 314, acharon, and means: hinder; generically late or last; specifically (as facing the east) western. Do you see it? Did you catch that? Our parent’s and grandparent’s generation was supposed to notice the prophetic significance of Israel becoming a nation again, SO THEY COULD TELL IT TO US, THE LAST WESTERN GENERATION ON PLANET EARTH!! I believe some of that generation did fulfill their duty to us. Are we responding properly to this revelation? That’s debatable. So, if 1948 was not the correct generaton, which one was it?

Was Yeshua talking about the generation that saw Israel expand its borders in 1967? That was the first time Israel really put forth leaves, by a rapid expansion of her borders in just six days of war. But that can’t be the starting marker for “this generation”, because we’re already about 46 years past that event. That generation (I’m included in that generation.) also saw the Yom Kippur War in 1973. These were marvelous events in Israel’s modern history, but were they the leafy fig tree events that Yeshua was concerned about? I don’t believe so.

Most all of us prophecy and Bible students have overlooked the major event in Israel’s modern history that introduced “this generation”. When did summer draw nigh unto modern Israel? Well, does anyone recall 1978, when President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt flew unannounced into Israel, at great risk of being shot down, and offered the government of Israel terms of peace? Do you remember the 1978 Camp David Accords, and the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty that was finally signed on March 26, 1979? Israel and the Middle East enjoyed relative peace for about 30 years, until the Arab uprisings began in 2011. Are you tracking with me now? Do you see where we’re headed with Yeshua’s prophecies in Matthew 24?

Psalm 78 correlates to 1978 CE. Read the whole Psalm, but we want to look at the first seven verses: Psalm 78:1-7 (NKJV) . . . Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. 2I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, 3Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us [Remember the 1948 generation?]. 4We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. 5For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children; 6That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born [Our children], That they may arise and declare them to their children [Our grandchildren], 7That they may set their hope in Yahweh, And not forget the works of Yahweh, but keep His commandments.” Well, you see where I’m going now, don’t you? Look at that GENERATION TO COME! It’s the SAME HEBREW WORD acharon, THE LAST WESTERN GENERATION!!

Children and grandchildren, you’d better be jumping up and down praising Yahweh right now. This is it, we’re it, we’re the last western generation on earth as we know it! Praise Yahweh, bless Yeshua! Yahweh is working out world events, through Israel specifically, to arrange for Yeshua’s return to earth. I hope you’re all getting ready to meet your Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach! Yeshua is coming back soon. Prepare your hearts, minds, and spirits through praise and worship. Yahweh has not forgotten us and is faithful to fulfill ALL HIS PROMISE PROPHECIES!

If you know anything about the migrations of the lost 10 tribes of Israel, you know they migrated to and settled in Europe, Great Britain, and the Americas. WE’RE IT! We are the last western generation that Yeshua prophesied about and TO in Matthew 24:34. Whether or not we are raptured/resurrected before, during, or after the Tribulation, matters not at all. Whether or not we’re martyred before, during, or after the Tribulation, matters not at all! If we are about 35 years into “this generation”, then SOON, WE WILL BE WITH YESHUA FOR ALL ETERNITY!! That matters to us all. How did Paul say it? 2 Corinthians 5:7-8 (NKJV) “For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with Yahweh.” Encourage yourself in the Lord. Yahweh is about to come through on His personal guarantee. Read all about it in 2 Corinthians 5.

Special thanks to Pastor F.M. Riley for opening up the mystery of “this generation”.

A Message from Yahweh to the Anti-Gun Mob

A Message from Yahweh to the
Anti-Gun Mob

Psalm 64:1b-10 (NKJV) “Hear my voice, O Yahweh, in my meditation; Preserve my life from fear of the enemy. [Anti-gun mob]
2  Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked [Anti-gun mob], From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity [Anti-gun mob],
3  Who sharpen their tongue like a sword, And bend their bows to shoot their arrows–bitter words [that become bitter laws],
4  That they may shoot in secret at the blameless [law abiding Pro-gun folks]; Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.
5  They encourage themselves in an evil matter [illegal Gun control legislation]; They talk of laying snares secretly [background checks, gun registration, gun confiscation]; They say, “Who will see them?”
6  They devise iniquities: “We have perfected a shrewd scheme.” [Gun control laws] Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep.
7  But Yahweh shall shoot at them with an arrow; [Oops, they’d better outlaw bows and arrows!] Suddenly they shall be wounded. [The destruction of a communist Muslim sharia Amerikan nation is assured.]
8  So He will make them stumble over their own tongue [Obama has never done that before!]; All who see them shall flee away.
9  All men shall fear, And shall declare the work of Yahweh [Like creating a free republic]; For they shall wisely consider His doing.
10  The righteous shall be glad in Yahweh, and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory.”

First off, Yahweh doesn’t use guns, so good luck asking Him to register His Bow and Arrows. How many arrows can He shoot at once, or in rapid fire? I don’t know, ask Him. Oh yeah, He launches His arrows from the spiritual realm, but they land in the physical realm. Pretty cool, huh?

Second, Yahweh has a lot of practice shooting down evil humans and nations. He took out the firstborn of Egypt in one night. He took out 185,000 Assyrian soldiers in one night. He has helped modern Israel take down her evil Muslim neighbors several times over the last 65 years, and will do so again soon. He has practice taking down commies, fascists, nazis, dictators, kings, banksters, and lots of bad people. When He says He will wound you suddenly, you can take that to the bank. Yahweh is not afraid of Obama’s handlers, Obama, or his evil henchmen. You don’t have to be either.

Third, don’t tread on Yahweh’s people.

Fourth, you’d better be getting your fire resistant clothing ready for the Lake of Fire.

Fifth, guns don’t murder people by themselves, humans murder other humans, by whatever means suits them at their moment of passionate evil.

Sixth, have a nice life while preparing to meet your Maker.

Seventh, when Yeshua lands on the Mount of Olives, ALL evil nations and people will be dealt with suddenly.

Eighth, why does the Amerikan government FREELY provide fully automatic weapons to Muslim Syrian so-called rebels, while trying to take good weapons out of the hands of her own people? Talk about the peculation of American taxpayers hard earned money! Hypocrites!!

Ninth, arm every American and teach them how to protect themselves!!

Tenth, lawbreakers (Anti-gun mob) put themselves under Yahweh’s curse, but they can be delivered from their delusional thinking.

Eleventh, execute capital criminals, not unborn babies, and stop punishing tools (guns).

Twelfth, don’t kid yourselves, Yahweh knows your genocidal plans.

Thirteenth, when Yahweh shoots you, you’re not just dead physically, you’re dead spiritually, forever and ever. Meditate on that.

Pray for Yahweh’s enemies, they need His salvation today.

A Safe Refuge

This is from the pen of Ellen White:  She spoke this over 100 yrs ago!

(Maranatha: The Lord is Coming) [page 67]

Behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. Isa. 26:21

There is coming rapidly and surely an almost universal guilt upon the inhabitants of the cities, because of the steady increase of determined wickedness. The corruption that prevails, is beyond the power of the human pen to describe. Every day brings fresh revelations of strife, bribery, and fraud; every day brings its heart-sickening record of violence and lawlessness, of indifference to human suffering, of brutal fiendish destruction of human life……

Our God is a God of mercy. With long-sufferance and tender compassion He deals with the transgressors of His law….The warnings to save them from divine wrath; but a time will come when pleadings for mercy will no longer be heard…..

The conditions prevailing in society, and especially in the great cities of the nations, proclaim in thunder tones that the hour of God’s judgments is come and that the end of all things earthly is at hand. We are standing on the threshold of the crisis fo the ages. In quick succession the judgments of God will follow one another—fire, and flood, and earthquake, with war and bloodshed….

The storm of God’s wrath is gathering; and those only will stand who respond to the invitations of mercy…and become sanctified through obedience to the laws of the divine Ruler. The righteous alone will be hid with Christ in God till the desolation be overpast. Let the language of the soul be:

“ Other refuge have I none;

Hangs my helpless soul on Thee;

Leave, Oh leave me not alone!

Still support and comfort me.

“Hide me, O my Savior, hide

Till the storm of life is past;

Safe into the haven guide;

Oh, receive my soul at last!”

People there is a safe refuge in Yeshua (Yahweh) God.  If you are down and worried about the things coming on the earth—-run to him! Are you worrying about someone with a gun shooting you down—run to him! He says in Psalms 64:7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded!

Yahweh is the KING—and knows all things—trust him folks—Budda don’t have him, Hinduism can’t hold him, Muslims think they have him, New Agers are confused, and Catholics blasphemed him—-time to repent and come into the arms of Yahweh—consider Him in all his way—and He says if you love me—keep my commandments! The Lord want to be your friend—but He is your true father!

Isaiah 32:9-11 says:

Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. 10. many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless woman: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come. 11.Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.

It’s time to rise up and shout the good news!  Jesus is coming soon!

Women in prophecy means church! Rev: 14:7 is shouting out! Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his

judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven , and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in is forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation: and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosover receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

It’s time to come out of her false churches—my people—so that you do not suffer the things coming on the earth and you can escape!

 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven; after [omitting “and”]… coming down, etc. The usual form of introduction to a new vision (cf. Rev_4:1; Rev_7:1, etc.). The “mystery” of the beast and the harlot having been declared, the angel now describes the doom in store for them. The angel is from heaven, as carrying the news of the judgment which is sent from heaven (cf. Rev_10:1; Rev_19:6, Rev_19:15, Rev_19:17; Rev_15:1, etc.). Having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. The great “authority” refers to the judgment which follows, which, however, is not acted out before the seer, but only described. The last clause records the visible manifestation of the great power (cf. the description in Eze_43:2).

 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying; and he cried with a strong voice, saying. This “strong voice” is characteristic of the heavenly utterances (cf. Rev_7:2; Rev_14:7, etc.). Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen. The event, though future, is described as past, being predetermined in the counsels of God. The words here are a reproduction of Isa_21:9. And is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird; a habitation a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hated bird. “Devils” (Greek, δαιμόνια), inferior evil spirits. The three phrases express the same idea, viz. the loathsome and hateful state to which Babylon is reduced. The language is derived from the prophets (cf. Isa_13:21, Isa_13:22; Isa_34:11-15; Jer_1:1-19 :39; Jer_51:37). A hold (Greek, φυλακή, “a strong place”); the natural and fitting stronghold of the devils, rather than a place to which they are involuntarily confined.

 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. “The wine” is omitted in A, C, but it is inserted in א, B, and retained in the Revised Version. “The wrath” is omitted (cf. the expression in Rev_14:8 and Rev_17:2). And the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her. (On the figure employed, as well as the identical language, see Rev_17:2.) And the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. The “abundance” (Greek, δύναμις, which Vitringa renders by copia, referring to Job_31:25; Eze_28:4, LXX.). “Delicacies.” (Greek, στρῆνος, occurs in the New Testament only here, and as a verb in Rev_18:7, Rev_18:9, and (compounded) in 1Ti_5:11. It signifies overweening pride and insolence and wantonness, arising from superfluity of wealth and gifts. Cf. the warning to the Church of Laodicea (Rev_3:17).

 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying. Probably the voice of another angel in succession to the one mentioned in Rev_18:1. Another angel takes up the theme, because the message is now directly addressed to Christians. Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. The angel says, “my people,” because he is representing God. These words, resembling Isa_48:20; Isa_52:1-15 :l; Jer_1:8; and especially Jer_51:6 (cf. also Jer_51:8), 45, recall also the warning of our Lord in Mat_24:16 (cf. also Gen_19:22, “I cannot do anything till thou be come thither”). Since the harlot, who is identical with Babylon, is representative of the faithless part of the Church of God, these words form a direct warning to Christians. The departure which is commanded is not necessarily a literal, visible one; but the command implies a dissociation from, and condemnation of, the works of Babylon. Lot’s wife literally departed from Sodom, but was overtaken with punishment, because her heart was not dissevered from the wickedness of the city.

 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. That is, the accumulation of sin is so great as to reach up to the heaven. Exactly the description of the judgment of Babylon given in Jer_51:9, “Forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country; for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.” repetition of Rev_16:19.
