Make Me A Temple

Exodus 25:8, “And let them make Me a sanctuary (Temple, Tabernacle), that I may dwell among them.”

Isaiah 56:7, “Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,

And make them joyful in My house (Temple, Sanctuary, Tabernacle) of prayer.

Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices

Will be accepted on My altar;

For My house (Temple, Sanctuary, Tabernacle) shall be called a house (Temple, Sanctuary, Tabernacle) of prayer for all nations.”

That the mountain of Yahweh’s house (Temple, Sanctuary, Tabernacle)

Shall be established on the top of the mountains,

To the house (Temple, Sanctuary, Tabernacle) of the Mighty One of Jacob;

He will teach us His ways,

And the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.

Do you realize that in these last days, as we hear of wars and rumors of wars that Yeshua prophesied would come, Israel is going to rebuild an altar and Temple to Yahweh? Though the whole world continues to turn against and vilify Israel, they will eventually gain the strength and faith to obey Yahweh’s will and rebuild the Temple again. Why would they do such a thing, right when they will be embroiled in the greatest wars the world has ever seen? Because they have to. Because Israel needs a Temple for the Antichrist to desecrate. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 must be fulfilled, “Now, brethren, concerning the coming [JESUS ADVENT 2.0] of our Master Yeshua HaMashiach and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Messiah had come. 3Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day [JESUS ADVENT 2.0] will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin [Antichrist] is revealed, the son of perdition, 4who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Yahweh or that is worshiped, so that he sits as Yahweh in the temple of Yahweh, showing himself that he is Yahweh.”

The day of this abomination of desolation will come. Daniel said so in Daniel 11:31, “And forces shall be mustered by him (Antichrist), and they shall defile the sanctuary (Temple, Tabernacle) fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices (twice-daily oblation offerings), and place there the abomination of desolation.” And again in Daniel 12:11, “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.” So in order for these events to occur in today’s real world, another Israeli Temple must be built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. One billion Muslims cannot stop the construction of this Temple. One billion Catholics cannot stop the construction of this Temple. Christians cannot stop the construction of this Temple, and hopefully are praying and watching for its soon-coming ground breaking ceremony.

Our Israeli brothers and sisters may not know their Messiah Yeshua yet, but many of them will soon. That does not mean they don’t want to worship Yahweh on the Temple Mount, in a new Temple!! Since the Temple Mount was recaptured during the six-day war in 1967, many faithful Jews have been diligently working toward rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem. It is Yahweh Who stirs their hearts to do so. It has to happen, and it will happen at the right time. Our mutual enemy, Satan, hinders Israel from accomplishing this mission. At some point, Yahweh will slap Satan back enough for the Temple build to go forward. That will be a glorious day indeed!

Until then and until Yeshua comes back, Jerusalem will continue to be a heavy stone that the nations of the world keep stumbling over and hurting themselves. Zechariah 12:2-3, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” Soon, very soon, Yahweh will help Israel stand against her surrounding enemies and rebuild His Temple. Yahweh can do this through wars, earthquakes, or any other seemingly natural means, or simply by supernatural intervention. When the time comes, Yahweh will make sure Israel obeys and fulfills her destiny. Pray that more Israelis will obtain and grow their faith to fulfill the holy Scriptures.

To My assembly of kingdoms (uh, Armageddon!!),

All My fierce anger;

The Most Terrible Words in the Bible…..

“Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever:

     That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:

     Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

     Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us,” Isaiah 30:8-11.  




     Okay, you have made a “profession of faith,” have been baptized and joined the church, and are now a church member in good standing.  As such you attend church services more or less frequently, and you live a fairly good “moral” life.  Sadly, there are thousands (or millions) of people in your exact same position in the churches and ranks of Christianity today.   I say sadly, because making a “profession” of faith, being dipped, poured, or sprinkled in some church’s baptistry, and living a clean “moral” life, is no substitute for an actual experience of saving grace with the Lord Jesus Christ.  The churches and the ranks of Christianty today are filled with lost church members who are in the same position you are in.  What you have done may help you to live a fairly good, comfortable, life while you are still alive, and be well thought of by your fellow man,  but what if you heard the Lord say…….


“pray not for this people…..for I will not hear thee”  


       Some 700 years before the first coming of Christ the Lord God brought His judgment upon the northern kingdom of Samaria.  Samaria was invaded and carried away into captivity by the armies of ancient Assyria.  The Lord God permitted this to come to pass because of the apostasy and extreme wickedness of the Jewish people living in the northern kingdom.   There is no record that any “remnant” of these Jews ever returned from Assyrian captivity.   Rather, as the centuries passed, many of the Jews in Assyria assimilated into Assyria, Babylon, and Media-Persia and other nations, and gave up their Jewish heritage.

Sadly, the southern kingdom of Judah didn’t learn a thing from what happened to Samaria.  Just like their sister before them, they rebelled more and more against the Lord God.  Read it for yourself in Ezekiel 16.  The Lord God then brought upon Judah the Babylonian armies who destroyed the Jewish temple and carried the people of Judah off into captivity in Babylon for 70 years.

However, before either one of these kingdoms were brought under the judgment of God, they were repeatedly warned to turn from their evil ways.  Read it for yourself in 2 Chronicles 36:15-16; Jeremiah 7:13; 7:25, 11:7-8; 13:10-11; 16:12;17:23;18:12; 19:15; and 25:3-4. How gracious and kind and longsuffering the Lord God had been with them, yet they refused to hear the true prophets which the Lord sent them, and walked after the imaginations of their own evil hearts.

This situation was a great burden to the true “men of God” which were sent to minister to Israel and to Judah, so much so that these true “men of God” wept sore and cried out to the Lord as they prayed for the Lord’s mercy upon their people.  It is then in this setting that some of the most terrible words in the Bible were first uttered.  Listen carefully as the Lord God of Heaven tells His prophets, “Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to Me, for I will not hear thee,” Jeremiah 7:16.  See also 11:14. 

     Such terrible words!  So what if the Lord God suddenly said about your soul, “Don’t even pray for him (or her), for I won’t hear you?  If the Lord ever said such about the soul of any reader, they would spend eternity in hell for sure.  Terrible words!   However, they are not the most terrible words that a soul will ever hear…….


“weighed in the balances, and found wanting”  


     The Lord God has a long memory.   He never forgot how ancient Babylon had invaded His land, slaughtered thousands of His chosen people, looted and burned His Holy Temple, and carried hundreds more of the surviving Jews back to Babylon as captives.

Many years passed!  Nebuchadnezzar died and was succeeded on the throne of Babylon by his descendants.  Among them was a grandson whose name was Belshazzar. Belshazzar was a young man totally unfit in character for the position he had inherited.  Becoming the King of Babylon apparently went to his already “swelled head.”  He evidently believed that “great Babylon” was an invincible city, and he presumed that being ruler of it made him invincible.

So being lifted up with pride in the invincibility of his great capitol city and palace, he threw a drunken party for his officers and officials, even while his city was being surrounded by the armies of Cyrus, King of the Medes.  In utter contempt for Cyrus and any gods except those of the Babylonians, he removed the sacred vessels of Israel from the treasury where they had been kept, and used them to drink from as he and his officers honored the pagan gods of Babylon.   During the course of these drunken festivities, suddenly a hand appeared writing on the wall of the palace.   The appearance of this hand so terrified Belshazzar that his loins were literally loosened, and his knees smote together, Daniel 5:6. In essence, Belshazzar was so terrified that his loins were loosed and he soiled himself.   Neither Belshazzar nor any of his “wise men” could read what the hand had written on the wall, so Daniel was summoned to the palace to “interpret” the writing for Belshazzar.  When Daniel read the writing, he interpreted it as saying to Belshazzar, “Thou are weighed in the balances, and art found wanting,” Daniel 5:27.  That same night Belshazzar was killed and his wicked soul descended into the pits of hell.  What terrible words! 

I am aware of many today who live as if there is no tomorrow.  They spend their lives in partying, drinking, drugging, sports, indulging in fornication and adultery, and any other kind of wickedness which crosses their minds or path.  But someday, and it may be SOON, the Lord may say to you just like He said to Belshazzar so long ago, “Thou art weighed in the balances and found wanting.”  When that happens, it will be too late to cry out for mercy!  You will have already sinned away your opportunity for saving grace, Hebrews 2:3.  Your death will then shortly come to pass and you will go into eternal damnation, just like Belshazzar did so long ago.  Few reading this will ever have a position in life equal to or even near to the position that Belshazzar had, yet regardless of your position in life, what if the Lord God one day says of your soul, “Thou art weighed in the balances and found wanting?”  These are terrible words!   Seek the Lord as your Savior NOW while you still have the opportunity!  Yet even these terrible words are not the most terrible words that a soul will ever hear…….   


“I never knew you, Depart from Me”….. 


     During His personal ministry the Lord Himself sternly warned those to whom He was preaching, against making a false “profession.”     Men can sometimes fool other men, but no man ever fools God.  In Matthew 7:13-14 the Lord first graciously warned men about the way of salvation, saying that “wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereatBut the Lord also warned them, “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”  Folks, this boils down to a very simple truth.  Any fool, drunken or sober, dumb or intellectual, can stumble into hell.  The gate to hell is wide enough to accommodate anyone.

On the other hand, true salvation has to be sought for, and comparatively speaking, the Lord said that “few find it.”  Let this truth soak in!  Don’t assume that just because you have made a “profession” and have become a member of some church and have been baptized that you are now saved and on the road to Heaven.  Your “profession” and “baptism” is not what guarantees you salvation. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself is God’s way of salvation, and the only way to be saved is to receive Christ into your heart and soul by “faith” as your own personal Savior, John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 16:30-31; Romans 10:8-13; Ephesians 2:8-10.  This means that there has to have been genuine repentance of sin and a genuine experience of saving grace in Christ alone for salvation, Acts 20:20-21.      

     To reinforce this truth, the Lord then added the warning set forth in Matthew 7:21-23, obviously spoken to and about some highly “religious” folks who have deceived themselves about being true believers.  In this passage Christ made it very clear that He is not impressed with all of the “religious” works which men do, not even those works men do while falsely using His name.  Compare Jeremiah 14:14. 

In speaking of the future day of judgment, the Lord explicitly stated, “Many will say unto Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name?  and in Thy name have cast out devils?  and in Thy name done many wonderful works? 

     And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity,” Matthew 7:21-23. 

     Did you hear it?   These terrible words coming from the lips of the loving Savior Himself?   “I never knew you: Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.”  Folks, such is the deception of “religion.”   “Religion” causes people to believe that they are “working for God” and that God is well pleased with them for their “works.”   Yet the inspired Scriptures explicitly teach that all works not wrought in and through the power of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself are only wasted efforts, for the Lord explicitly stated, “…..for without Me, ye can do nothing,” John 15:5.   Compare Ephesians 2:8-10, noticing especially verse 10.   It is the Lord God who does the work of God, only using yielded true believers as His instruments.

It is “religious” people who make “false professions” and then try to work their way to Heaven by their own so-called “good works.”  These lost “religionists” in the churches today are the people the Lord was speaking about in Matthew 7:21-23.    These vain, self deceived “religious people” will one day hear the Lord Himself say, “I never knew you; Depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”  What terrible words these will be as they ring in the ears of lost “religionists,” many of whom have worked their whole lives trying to earn their way to Heaven, when the inspired Word of God makes it perfectly clear that the Lord Jesus Christ has already done all of the work necessary to secure salvation for all who will believe, John 3:36.          

     “I never knew you: Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.”   These are terrible words, and will be even worse when spoken into the ears and soul of some lost reader.   But even these are not the most terrible words that a lost soul will ever hear…….


“hath never forgiveness”…..


In the 12th chapter of Matthew is the account of the rejection of Christ by the religious leaders of Israel.   Even though Christ performed all of the miraculous works right before their eyes that were predicted to be performed by the promised Messiah, Isaiah 29:18-19, yet those wicked “religionists” rejected Christ and proclaimed to the people that His miracles were being done through the power of “Beelzebub the prince of the devils [demons], Matthew 12:24.   This was a deliberate act on their part of attributing the works done by Christ through the power of God’s Holy Spirit to the power of Satan [Beelzebub, lord of the flies].   The Lord’s response to such a wicked accusation was to tell them, “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.  And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost [Spirit], it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come, Matthew 12:31-32. 

     These are terrible words!   They should strike fear into the heart and soul of anyone who is guilty of such wicked blasphemy.   I have been in the Lord’s ministry many years and have personal knowledge of a few who have dared to commit this “unpardonable sin.”   Most of the people I know of who committed this sin didn’t live out the week, and some of them didn’t live out the day after committing this evil sin.   Almighty God is not the “all loving, all forgiving” WIMP that some today make Him out to be.   There are limits to God’s longsuffering and patience with rebellious mankind.   Those who dare to step over those limits will spend eternity in the lake of fire of brimstone regardless of how much longer God permits them to live in the flesh.   These are terrible words, “hath never forgiveness,” Mark 3:29.   These words will strike terror into the heart and soul of every person who has committed this heinous crime against the Holy Spirit of God, yet these are not the most terrible words that lost unbelieving mankind will ever hear…….


“God gave them up”


     Read Romans 1:16, 1:22-24, 1:26-28, and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.   These inspired Scriptures tell those who will believe about the origin of the so-called “homo-sexual” lifestyle.   It originated in the depraved hearts of those who set their wicked hearts and minds in rebellion against the righteousness and holiness of Almighty God.

The Lord Jesus Christ Himself explicitly stated that the immoral condition of humanity at the end of this present age would be exactly like that of Sodom and Gomorrah, Luke 17:28-30.   All we believers have to do today is look about us to see the truth of our Lord’s statement.

Now notice the express statement, “God gave them up.”  This statement is repeated three times in this chapter.   In Romans 1:24 “God gave them up to uncleanness.”   In 1:26 “God gave them up unto vile affections.”  In 1:28 “God gave them over to a reprobate mind.”   This latter verse is worded exactly the same in the Greek text as the first two verses; “God gave them up.”  These Scriptures again emphasize that our holy, righteous, and loving God does have “limits” to His compassion and mercies.  Ignore and exceed those “limits” at the risk of your own soul.    

     Folks, if God ever gives up on your soul, you will most certainly spend eternity in the lake of fire and brimstone.   The inspired Apostle Paul, in speaking of these same kinds of people, clearly states in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?   Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind…….shall inherit the kingdom of God.”  This spells it out clearly enough for anyone to understand.   These people, men or women, who engage in such a habitual lifestyle are as sure to spend eternity in the lake of fire and brimstone as if they were already there.   But can these people be saved?   Of course they can!  But only after genuine repentance and a turning away from their ungodly lifestyle, 6:11-13; Luke 13:1-5. 

      Again, these are terrible words, “God gave them up.”   But even these are not the most terrible wordsthat unbelieving men and women will ever hear……


The Final Judgment


     Carefully study the “20th chapter of Revelation,” especially verses 11-15.  I am sure that most of our readers have heard these Scriptures preached and taught by various preachers at various times, but right now I would ask our readers to visualize a great Court Room scene, remembering that God is a God of “justice and judgment.”   This great court room scene will take place at the “appointed time,” following the end of the Millennial Kingdom.

[1]    First, notice the accused.   All of the spiritually “dead” of humanitythroughout all of human history, plus all of the followers of Satan, both spiritual [ fallen angels and demonic spirits] and physical [unbelieving rebellious humans] will be summoned to appear before the Judge sitting upon His great White Judgment Throne, Revelation 20:12.   What a solemn and somber scene that will be…..

[2]   Second, notice the Judge.   Contrary to what is commonly believed and taught, the Judge is not God the Father.   Identify the Judge for yourself by reading John 5:22-23.   Remember the words of the inspired Apostle in Romans 14:9-12 and Philippians 2:9-11.      

[3]    Third, notice the evidence against those being judged.  The Word says, “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works,” Revelation 20:12.  Now compare this with the Lord’s statement in John 12:47-50.   The “books” refer to the sixty-six books of our Judeo-Christian Bible, the inspired Word of God, and they will be there as “evidence” against those being judged, that those being judged did not study, believe, keep, observe, or honor the Word of God.

[4]   Now watch somberly and quietly as one after another of the accused comes before the Great White Judgment Throne of the Lord God and their case is presented.   After all has been said both pro and con about each of the accused, the Great Judge turns to one of his angels holding “the book of life” and asks him to search through the book and see if the name of the accused is written there?   Understand the solemnity and importance of this moment by comparing Luke 10:17-20.   Feel the very tension in the court room as the angel searches through the book.   Then listen to the most terrible words that will ever be heard by any human soul, “Lord, his [or her] name is not in the book!”  No, these words are not recorded in the Bible, yet any true believer who will deal honestly with God’s Word can understand how strongly these words are implied as we visualize this Court Room scene.   Listen now to the gasps and hysterical screams of those tormented souls as they finally realize the real importance of having rejected the Lord Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior.   Their name is not in “the book of life.”   Is yours???   Well…??    

[5]   Watch and listen now as the verdict is handed down by the Great Judge.   GUILTY!   Guilty of rejecting the very One who loved them so much that He went to Calvary and shed His precious blood giving up His own life to pay their sin debt, making a way for them to be eternally saved.  Yet they refused to receive, even as a free gift, what the Lord God did for them, Romans 6:23.

[6]     Listen again to the screams and cries of the damned as their sentence is immediately carried out.   No appeals!   No reprieve!  No second chance!   “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire,” Revelation 20:15.  




      Dear readers, once again I have poured out my heart and soul and tears in trying to warn those readers who may be lost in sin “to flee from the wrath to come.”   My prayer is that the Lord God will carry this message home to the heart of every reader.   I am sure that every adult reader of this study has heard many terrible words uttered by people during their life time.   But in the final analysis those words won’t matter much.   I have tried to set before our readers some of the most terrible words recorded in the Bible.   However, the absolutely most terrible words that any immortal soul will ever hear is not recorded in the Word, but rather implied.   Those words will be uttered by the angel whom the Lord appoints to search through the Book of Life.   Listen again as the voice of the angel echoes across the Court Room, “Lord, his [or her] name is not in the book!

Dear readers, my prayer is that none of my readers will ever hear those most terrible words pronounced against their own soul. I truly want to meet every reader when our Lord comes to resurrect and rapture His people to glory.   Please, please, don’t disappoint me!   The precious blood of Christ was shed for you, just as it was for me.   I know that there is indeed “power in the blood” for I was saved for time and eternity when I received His sacrifice for my soul.   Won’t you also seek the Lord in humble and sincere prayer and ask Him today to come into your heart and life and save you from your sins?   If you are sincere in seeking the Lord, He will hear your prayer and save you right then and there, Read John 5:24 and 6:37.  May the Lord give every reader the grace to truly believe is my prayer for you.  Read Romans 10:8-13 and Ephesians 2:8-10.

     ”The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

     As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send My messenger before Thy face, which shall prepare Thy way before Thee.

     The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.

     John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.  

     And there went out unto him all the land of Judea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.  

     And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;

     And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

     I indeed have baptized you with water: but He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost [Spirit].

     The message you are about to read was first preached as a sermon on March 9, 1997 by this writer.   It was recorded on cassette tape by my beloved, faithful Helen [now with the Lord] as I preached the message.   Copies of this tape are still available to any reader who still has a cassette player and would like to hear the message as originally preached.  Just request the tape and send me a correct mailing address and it will be my blessing to send it to you.   No cost or obligation whatsoever.

This study sets forth a Biblical truth that very few Christian people have ever studied and therefore are not aware of; the five baptisms clearly taught in the inspired Word of God.   My prayer is that the Lord God will bless this study to the hearts and lives of His people, and to the salvation of the lost.

Since our subject isabout “baptism,”then it is only fitting that the word be defined for our readers.  The English word “baptism” is translated from the Greek word, “baptizo.”   This Greek word literally means “to dip, plunge under, submerge, or immerse.”   See Thayer’s Greek Lexicon, page 94, Strong’s No. 907.   I have a copy of the KJV Hebrew-Greek Study Bible with editing and notes by Spiros Zodhiates, who is a natural born Greek and a Christian believer.   Few people can be deceived about the meaning of their own native language.   Brother Zodhiates, in his notes, is adamant about the word “baptize” meaning to “dip, plunge under, immerse, or completely submerge.”

The Word “baptize” NEVER means to “sprinkle or pour”   If all any reader has for baptism is that some deceiver once sprinkled or poured some water on your head while calling it “baptism,” then you don’t have baptism!   You have never been baptized!

Now having defined the actual, literal, meaning of the word “baptizo,” or as translated, “baptize,”  I invite our readers to join us for a Scripturally enlightening study…….


 No. 1…….Baptism of Repentance


     Notice that Mark’s gospel begins with the inspired expression, “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.”   This is the only one of the four gospels that begins with such a statement.   What better place to begin this study than exactly where the inspired Word of God clearly states that the “gospel of Jesus Christ” begins?  The seven verses of Scripture which follow [2-8] describe the ministry of John the Baptist, yet these Scriptures are loaded with spiritual truths for the benefit of God’s people.

Verse 4 sets before us the first baptism [and the only baptism] which is absolutely necessary for salvation.   This Scripture tells us that John preached “the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.”   In other words, here is the inspired Scripture that clearly states that every true seeking soul MUST be immersed in repentance before they can be saved.   No immersion in repentance; no salvation!  Take it to heart!   If any reader is not truly sorry for the sins they committed against our gracious God, and have not confessed their sins to God and received His Son as the payment for their sins, then I have Scriptural reason to question the reality of your salvation.   The “gospel of Jesus Christ” begins with “the baptism of repentance,” and without this baptism no one can be saved.   Are you listening?

But let me make it very clear that “the baptism of repentance” is an inward “work of grace” that the Lord God does in the heart and soul of a person who is truly sorry for their sins against our Holy God.  It is not a work that you do, but rather a work of God which you receive into your heart and soul.   Praise the Lord!   I urge every reader of this study to do some serious heart searching and ask themselves if they have ever experienced true “Godly sorrow” for their sins against our righteous and holy Heavenly Father, and our Savior, Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 7:10.

Folks, when I was saved as a young boy of 11 years of age, I knew through hearing a faithful “man of God” preach the Word, and under the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, that I was a guilty sinner, lost and on the way to hell in my sin, Romans 10:17; John 16:7-11.   I cried out to God  right there and asked Him to have mercy on me and forgive my sins and give me his salvation.   I repented of my sin at that moment and the Lord God graciously saved my soul, and yes, my tears flowed freely with thanksgiving and praise for my Lord and Savior.  The guilt and burden of sin was instantly lifted and for the first time in my life I felt clean and holy.   At that moment I was experiencing “the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.”   Glory to God!   Hallelujah!   Praise the Lord!   Thank you Lord Jesus!

Now I must ask every reader…..have you experienced “the baptism of repentance” for the remission of your sins?   Read 2 Corinthians 13:5 and 2 Peter 1:10.   You MUST have this baptism if you intend to spend eternity with the Lord Jesus and His people, Acts 20:20-21.  


No 2…….Baptism in Water


     Our readers should also notice in this text that John the Baptist immersed in water all those who believed his message and by faith received the One [the promised Messiah] whom John proclaimed was coming after him.   At this point we need to know something about the Scriptural meaning and significance of water baptism.   Just how important is it to the true believer?

[1]   First, water baptism is a burial, Romans 6:2-7; Genesis 23:1-4.   Folks, this baptism is for those true believers who are “alive in Christ,” but “dead to sin.”   Water baptism is one of the two rituals given to New Covenant believers in the New Testament.   While it is a ritual given by the Lord God Himself in Matthew 28:18-20, it has deep spiritual significance.   When the new born [saved] believer submits to water baptism, they are symbolically “burying” the old man with the Adamic “sin nature” and being raised from the watery grave to walk in their “new life” in Christ.  As the pastor or some other member of the Lord’s local church performs that act of baptism on the one being baptized, the church is also obeying the commission given to it by the Lord Jesus Christ to baptize in water all those who have by faith in our crucified and risen Lord become His disciples.

[2]    Second, water baptism is an act of obedience on the part of the true believer being baptized.   Baptism is for believer’s only!   Baptism does not do anything for a person still lost in their sins.    Absolutely nothing!   These self-deceived “religionists” today who think if they can just get to the waterhole and be dunked, that it will take care of everything that is wrong between them and God are only fooling themselves.   There first has to be a change in the heart of the truly seeking believer before one can be saved, Romans 10:8-10.   This change is wrought in the heart by “faith” in the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s personal Savior, Romans 10:17; Ephesians 2:8-9.  By submitting to water baptism, true believers are only obeying what is specifically commanded of us in the inspired Word of God.   But some reader may ask why?  Here’s why…..

[3]    Third, water baptism is a public confession of the believer’s faith in Christ.   In the act of baptism we are publicly confessing our identification with the Lord Jesus Christ who died for us, was buried, and rose again to save us from our sins.   We are publicly telling every person who witnesses our baptism in water that we are not ashamed to be identified with our wonderful Savior, Romans 10:11; Matthew 10:32-33; 1 John 5:4-8.  

[4]    Fourth, water baptism is “the answer of a good conscience towards God,” 1 Peter 3:21.   Since it was the Lord Jesus Christ Himself who commanded His disciples to submit to water baptism, then a refusal to do so on the part of a true believer is an act of willful disobedience.  Such a believer can then never have a “clear conscience” towards the Lord until they repent and obey what He has specifically commanded in His Word.   Christ Himself set the example for us when He submitted to water baptism, Matthew 3:13-17.   What was Christ doing?   As an obedient Son, He was being obedient to the will of His Heavenly Father, John 5:30; 14:10-11.  The Heavenly Father must certainly have been highly pleased with Christ’ baptism, for following the Lord’s baptism in water the Heavenly Father specifically spoke from Heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,” Matthew 3:17.   

     Folks, having been in the Lord’s ministry these many years, I have seen with my own eyes many wonderful things.   I once witnessed the baptism of a dear man who had been saved as a young man but refused to be baptized.   He later told me that he had believed it was just some sort of “foolish custom” of the churches and he couldn’t see that it did anything for anyone.   But it always “knawed on his conscience” that he had not been baptized.   Seventeen years after being saved, he finally submitted to water baptism.   In entering the baptistry he confessed to the entire church body his disobedience to the Lord in not following His Lord in baptism, and said that he wanted to “make it right” between him and the Lord.   The pastor then “buried him” in the watery grave of baptism in obedience to the Lord.   When he came up from that water, that man came up shouting and clapping his hands and praising the Lord.   He then told the church body that he finally had a “clear conscience” to go along with his salvation.   After his baptism and testimony, two other men in that service came forward to receive Christ as their Savior.   It was a glorious spiritual service that I have never forgotten.

Water baptism is not required for salvation, but does give the true believer a clean “conscience” in knowing that they have obeyed the Lord.

[5]   Fifth, water baptism sets forth a promise of the resurrection, for it is a “likeness of His resurrection,” Romans 6:5. Just as Christ was raised from the dead, so the true believer is raised from the “watery grave” of baptism to walk in a new life.   Even so, we believers will also be raised from the dead like our Lord, and be “caught up” to glory to live the new life the Lord God has prepared for us “in the ages to come,” Ephesians 2:7.   Glory to God!   Praise the Lord!          


No. 3…….Baptism in the Holy Spirit


     Our readers should also notice that in our text passage for this study John the Baptist clearly predicted that the Lord Jesus Christ would “baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”  See the original statement in Matthew 3:11.  Holy Spirit baptism is one of the most misunderstood and hotly debated doctrines in the ranks of Christianity today, but it shouldn’t be!   The Scriptures are quite clear on the subject if those debating would simply accept what the inspired Word has to say, rather than trying to insert their own opinions and ideas into the subject.

The first clearly stated instance of Holy Spirit baptism recorded in the Scriptures was that which came upon the Lord’s church in Acts 2.  Although it came upon the church suddenly, it did not come without warning.   The Lord God Himself had explicitly told His church at least 10 days previously that they would receive such a baptism, Luke 24:40-49.   Also compare John 14:16-17; 16:7-14, and Acts 1:4-5.  Of course John the Baptist had predicted it three years earlier when he first began his ministry.   So it came upon the Lord’s church as a promise from the Lord Himself.

Holy Spirit baptism is in perfect harmony with the meaning of the word translated as “baptize.”   The word never means anything other than to immerse.   If our readers will now look at Acts 2:1-2 the inspired Word says, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.   And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.”   Obviously, since the sound “filled all the house,” and they were sitting in the house, then they were literally immersed in and beneath the sound.   It was above them, around them, and beneath them.  They were literally immersed [baptized] in the Holy Spirit.

I want our readers to notice carefully that it was following this immersion in the Spirit that the disciples were then “filled” with the Spirit.   In spite of the best efforts of some today to erase all distinctions between being “baptized by the Holy Spirit” and “filled with the Holy Spirit,” these are two completely different works of the Holy Spirit.  Any true believer who will dedicate themselves to the Lord can be “filled with the Holy Spirit.”   But being “baptized by the Holy Spirit” is a totally different work, primarily reserved for the Lord’s church; the body of Christ.   When a true believer identifies with a true Scriptural church of the Lord Jesus, they become a partaker of the Holy Spirit baptism that was poured out upon the Lord’s church some 2,000 years ago.   See 1 Corinthians 12:13. 

     I could say much more about this baptism, but I have already wrote enough on this subject to raise up all kinds of objections from different denominational and “religious” groups.   If any of our readers really want to study what God’s Word has to say on the subject, then I will be glad to send you my in-depth study on Holy Spirit Baptism.   Just write and request it.


No. 4…….The Baptism of Blood


     This is a baptism that is rarely mentioned by most preachers and pastors, yet it is very real and has been throughout the history of Christianity.   This baptism is not mentioned in the text used for this study, but rather is found in Mark 10:35-40.   In verses 38-39 the Lord said to James and John, “…..Ye know not what ye ask:  can ye drink of the cup that I drink of?  And be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?   And they said unto Him, We can.   And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized.”  What “baptism” was Christ speaking of on this occasion?   It should be obvious to any reader who truly knows the Lord.

Folks, when the Lord instituted the Lord’s Supper for His New Covenant Church, what did He say about “the cup?”   See Matthew 26:27-28.   In verse 28 the Lord explicitly stated, “For this is My blood of the New Covenant which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”   See also Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20, and 1 Corinthians 11:25.   In each of these Scripture passages “the cup” symbolizes the precious “ blood” of the Lord Jesus Christ.   This is the baptism that Christ was baptized with, which He spoke of to James and John.   Our beloved Savior was literally immersed in His own blood at Calvary, as He suffered and bled and died to pay our sin debt and purchase our eternal redemption.   Oh glory to God!   Thank you precious Lord Jesus!

Have our readers ever seriously studied about the sufferings of Christ leading up to and during the crucifixion?  He was subjected to a whipping with the Roman “scourge.”   This was a whip with nine to twelve strips of leather.   In the end of each strip was a sharp piece of metal.   Each time the whip fell on the flesh the sharp pieces of metal cut into the flesh.  If Christ was whipped according to Jewish Law, this would have meant that He received “forty stripes save one.”  Medical doctors who have actually studied this account in depth claim that by the time the entire 39 lashes of the whip had been laid on Christ, the flesh on His entire back would have been cut away and His rib cage and shoulder bones totally laid bare.   Blood would have been freely flowing by the time the seventh lash was laid on our Lord.   Then a “crown of thorns” was placed on the head of Christ and beaten down with a rod.   This would have ripped His entire scalp to pieces and caused His blood to literally flow from the top of His head down His face and over His already brutally abused body.  At some point in this abuse a big Roman soldier grabbed Christ by His beard and swung Him back and forth by His beard until the entire lower part of His face simply pulled away and off from His skull.   This is what is meant when the prophet Isaiah wrote, “The Lord God hath opened Mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.  I gave My back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not My face from shame and spitting,” Isaiah 50:5-6.   But then the nails were driven into and through His hands and feet to hold His body to the cross.   The final abuse was to thrust a spear into His side, and the Word tells us that when this was done out flowed blood and water.   Our beloved Savior was literally immersed [baptized] in His own blood.

Keep in mind that the Lord told James and John that they would also be “baptized” with the same “baptism of blood” that the Lord was baptized with.   Significantly, James did suffer martyrdom for being a follower of Christ as recorded in Acts 12:1-2.   But what about John!   Christian history tells us that John was brutally persecuted on more than one occasion, yet died peacefully of old age.   Now remember that Christ Himself stated that both of the brothers would be “baptized in blood” like Christ Himself was.   So how do we reconcile this?   How many of our readers have ever even considered John as being one of God’s “two witnesses” during the coming Tribulation period?  Well John will be, whether some want to believe it or not.   If any reader wants the full details on this, then request my study on The Future Ministry of God’s Two Witnesses.  John will yet experience his “baptism of blood” fulfilling the prediction of Christ to the letter.

I would remind our readers that hundreds of true Christian believers have experienced this “baptism of blood” through the centuries of this dispensation.   In some of the countries dominated by “false religions” there are true believers today who are sealing their testimonies for Christ with their own blood.   Will this come to America?   Of course it will unless our Lord comes to resurrect and rapture His people to glory REAL SOON.   The real “proof” of your “profession of faith” in Christ will be revealed in your willingness to lay down your life for Christ, even as He suffered and died for us.   Would you be willing to experience “the baptism of blood” for your Lord?   Just how much does Christ really mean to you?   Be careful how you answer, for you may SOON get the chance to prove your answer by your actions.   Are you ready?


No. 5…….The Baptism of Fire


    The fifth and final baptism mentioned in the inspired Word was predicted by John the Baptist in Matthew 3:11, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:  He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.”   See also Luke 3:16.  

     Any student of God’s Word who has ever made a serious word study of the word “fire” throughout the Scriptures already knows that “fire” is one of the main features of the entire seven year Tribulation period.   The whole Tribulation is characterized by one fiery judgment after another.   It is specifically stated in Isaiah 24:4-6, “The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languiseth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.   The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.   Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate:  therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.”   

     “Upon the wicked He shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest:  this shall be the portion of their cup,” Psalm 11:6.   Compare Genesis 19:24, Luke 17:28-29, and 2 Peter 2:6.   It is too bad that men today refuse to pay attention to the example the Lord God graciously set before mankind at Sodom and Gomorrah.  Again, compare Psalm 18:7-8, 18:12-13 and 21:8-9.  

     And what do the prophecies of both Joel and Peter predict in Joel 2:30 and Acts 2:19?

     I could go on and set dozens of Scriptures before our readers about the “baptism of fire” which will occur during the Tribulation period.  This “baptism of fire” will affect all of the nations on the face of the earth, but it is especially for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people in particular.   This is exactly who John the Baptist was speaking to and about when he made his statement as recorded in Matthew 3:11.  It is the presently unbelieving Jewish people who are going to experience the “baptism of fire.”

This “baptism of fire” will burn the dross off of the Jewish people and the nation of Israel during the coming Tribulation period, and the “remnant” who comes out of it will have been purged of their sin of unbelief and the dross of other sins that have clave to them over these past 3,500 years.  Read it for yourself in Isaiah 48:10, Zechariah 13:8-9, and Malachi 3:1-3. 

     Our readers might also notice that this present dispensation ends and the Tribulation begins with “fire,” 2 Peter 3:10.  No true New Covenant believer will ever experience this “baptism of fire” because our precious Lord God is coming to receive us to Himself and take us “home to glory” before these fiery judgments of the Tribulation begins, Titus 2:11-15; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.     Praise the Lord!  Glory to God!   Hallelujah!



     Following is a brief synopsis of the five baptisms set forth in the Scriptures…..


[1]     The baptism of repentance…….Mark 1:4…..This is a “spiritual baptism” which takes place in the heart and soul of the true believer, and is  the ONLY baptism required for salvation.

     [2]     The baptism in water……Mark 1:8…..This is “believers baptism” which every true believer should partake of in obedience to and identification with Christ, but it is not required for salvation.

[3]    The baptism of the Holy Spirit…….Mark 1:8…..This is also a “spiritual baptism” which  came upon the Lord’s church as recorded in Acts 2.  All believers who identify themselves with a true Scriptural church of the Lord Jesus Christ are partakers of this baptism.   This baptism is not required for salvation.

[4]   The baptism of blood…….Mark 10:38…..This is a literal “baptism in blood” of the true believer who lays down their life as a martyr for Christ Jesus our precious Savior.  This “baptism in blood” is not required for salvation, and may or may not be required of a believer, depending on the existing circumstances.   I would hope that any true believer would be willing to submit to this baptism if called upon by our Lord to do so.

[5]   The baptism of fire…….Matthew 3:11; Luke 3:16…..This is a baptism in literal fire that will come upon all unbelieving mankind and upon Israel and the Jewish people during the Tribulation period.   The fire will burn up the wicked, and burn the dross off of the repentant, believing Jewish “remnant.”   Glory to the God of Israel!   Hallelujah!


     May the Lord God be pleased to add His grace and blessings to this study and use it to bring lost seeking souls to a saving knowledge of Himself, and to build His people up in “the faith which was once delivered unto the saints,” Jude 3.

Mark 1:1-8, “The beginning of the gospel of Yeshua HaMashiach, the Son of Yahweh. 2As it is written in the Prophets:

“Behold, I send My messenger before Your face (Malachi 3:1),

Who will prepare Your way before You.”

3  “The voice of one crying in the wilderness:

   ‘Prepare the way of Yahweh;

Make His paths straight.’” (Isaiah 40:3)

Notice the first thing mentioned as the beginning of the Gospel of Yeshua: the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. What does this mean to us today? Well, the gospel of the Kingdom of Yahweh begins with us sinful humans repenting of our sins and receiving forgiveness for our sins by the blood of Yeshua. If you don’t repent of your sins, you go no further in the Kingdom of Yahweh. No more revelation, no more illumination, no more guidance, no peace, no growth, no salvation, you get the idea. Why would John preach/teach/baptize like this?

We learn why John began his preaching of the Kingdom with a baptism of repentance from the teaching of Yeshua Himself in Matthew 23:23-28, ““Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law [torah]: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. 24Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!

25“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. 26Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.

27“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness [torahlessness].”

Here we are at the beginning of another new civil year. We hit the ground running after the holidays, but did we land on the right path? Are we still in the Way? Did we over indulge in self satisfaction over the holidays? We live in a me, my, mine world. We are self-centered, selfish, self-absorbed, self-loving humans. Are we abusing or neglecting our spouse? Our children? Our employees or co-workers? This is a good time of year to repent and turn to Yahweh afresh!

I don’t make new years resolutions. I seek Yahweh every day and let the Holy Spirit show me what I need to repent of and change in my life. Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of Yahweh and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Trying to change or improve your life in your own strength, the flesh, doesn’t work, and will not last. Let Yahweh show you what to change or fix in your life. He won’t cut any sin out of your life without your permission. But if you seek Him, He’ll show you what concerns Him at any given moment and He won’t overwhelm you will all your sins at once! He’s the perfect Doctor and Surgeon. He will deal with you one sin at a time. When He convicts you of the sin, just repent, ask forgiveness, and give Him permission to take it out of your life and cover it under the blood of Yeshua! He’s good and faithful to do it!

Yeshua gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit to help us grow in holiness and righteousness. John 16:7-11, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper [Holy Spirit] will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11of judgment, because the ruler of this world [Satan] is judged.” Holy Spirit is good and faithful to do His work in us. When He does, we need to respond in faith and repent and turn again to Yahweh our Savior! The world is rushing headlong into apostasy, blasphemy, and idolatry, which will end in death in the Lake of Fire. When we see these things happening all around us, we need to use each new crisis as a stepping stone back into the Kingdom of Yahweh. As the world gets darker, we need to return more eagerly to the light of Yahweh’s word and His marvelous Kingdom!

Let the Holy Spirit give you resolve for the new year, let Him give you plans and goals for your life this year. Let Yahweh guide you into His Kingdom this year, he won’t lead you astray. The world is already astray and can ONLY lead you astray. Pop culture, modern high tech systems, mainstream media, Hollywood, Washington D.C., etc. will never lead you into the Kingdom of Yahweh. This world is heading straight to hell and can ONLY lead you there.

This year, repent, return to Yahweh, His way, His righteousness, His Kingdom. Then we can move on into second and third things. Hebrews 6:1-6, “Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary [FIRST] principles of Messiah, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward Yahweh, 2of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead [JESUS ADVENT 2.0], and of eternal judgment. 3And this we will do if Yahweh permits.

4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5and have tasted the good word of Yahweh and the powers of the age to come, 6if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of Yahweh, and put Him to an open shame.”

Friends, I believe that in 2013 CE, American Christians will finally face open and vicious persecution similar to what our brothers and sisters around the world have faced for the last 1,983 years. Believe it or not, brethren, we need persecution. It will force us into our Savior’s arms. It will force us to grow up. 1 Peter 4:17, “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of Yahweh; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of Yahweh?” Have you never read the Book of Revelation? Millions upon millions of saints will be martyred in the end times. Being murdered, or martyred, for Yeshua is not something to shy away from, or to be shunned. Martyrdom for the cause of Messiah should be embraced. It virtually guarantees your entrance into the Kingdom of Yahweh. We don’t need to seek death, or run to it, but we don’t need to run and hide in doomsday bunkers to avoid it either! Trust me, our enemies will find us. They know who we are, where we are, what we do on the internet, what we speak and text on our phones. Revelation 6:9-11, “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of Yahweh and for the testimony which they held. 10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”

Revelation 7:9-17, “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our Mighty One who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped Yahweh, 12saying:

“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,

Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,

Be to our Mighty One forever and ever.


13Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”

14And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”

So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15Therefore they are before the throne of Yahweh, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And Yahweh will wipe away every tear from their eyes.””

So how do these saints COME OUT OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION? They are martyred!!! They will be killed for Yeshua’s sake. They will not be raptured (sorry pre-tribbers), or run away in a Greater Exodus (sorry Messianics)!! We’ve already dealt with the pre-trib rapture theory. We may have to blog on the Greater Exodus theory. But just take a look at the context of Jeremiah 23. The Greater Exodus proponents use Jeremiah 23:7-8 to build their doctrine, ““Therefore, behold, the days are coming,” says Yahweh, “that they shall no longer say, ‘As Yahweh lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ 8but, ‘As Yahweh lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel [you and me] from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own land.”” That’s the Greater Exodus, right? But according to the context, WHEN does this Greater Exodus occur? Look at verses 5-6, ““Behold, the days are coming,” says Yahweh, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 6In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Well, folks, Who is the Branch, Who is the King, Who is our Righteousness? Yeshua HaMashiach, of course!! The Greater Exodus will happen during the Millennial Reign of Yeshua on earth, not one minute before!!

Friends, prepare for persecution. Prepare to meet your enemy face to face. Prepare to meet your Maker. The beginning of the end of the Gospel of Yeshua is upon us. Believe it or not, Psalm 113 corresponds to 2013 CE, “Praise Yahweh!

Praise, O servants of Yahweh,

Praise the name of Yahweh!

2  Blessed be the name of Yahweh

From this time forth and forevermore!

3  From the rising of the sun to its going down

Yahweh’s name is to be praised.

4  Yahweh is high above all nations,

His glory above the heavens.

5  Who is like Yahweh our Mighty One,

The things that are in the heavens and in the earth?

7  He raises the poor out of the dust,

    And lifts the needy out of the ash heap,

Notice verses 7-8. Pre-tribbers believe these verses prove our rapture in 2013. May I propose to you that they may prove our martyrdom, beginning in 2013 CE!!

Allah vs. Rimmon


A couple days ago I was reading the last few chapters of the Book of Judges. You know the story. How the Benjamites of Gibeah committed an evil act of perversion and violence against a fellow Israelite and his concubine. Most of the men from the Tribe of Benjamin were eventually wiped out by the rest of the Israeli military might. The surviving 600 young Benjamites ran to the rock of Rimmon in the wilderness for protection. Read the story when you can, there’s a wealth of lessons to be learned in that story. But that’s not what we want to look at today.


I’m fascinated by the word Rimmon. There has to be more to it than just an upscale westside community in Colorado Springs by the name of Rockrimmon. Rimmon just sounds cool, but what does it mean? Well, literally, in the Hebrew Rimmon means pomegranate, the fruit. That’s not insignificant, because the pomegranate has an average of 613 seeds, the number of laws in the Tanach, or Old Testament. Fausset has this to say about the pomegranate: sacred to Venus; the fertilizing principle in nature; tree worship anciently having prevailed, a perverted relic of the tradition of Eden’s tree of life. Well there’s the Devil’s in, a counterfeit perversion of the Tree of Life. But there has to be more to it than that. The first definition in the Brown Driver Briggs Lexicon is: the deity of wind, rain, and storm, worshipped by the Syrians of Damascus (noun proper deity). Whoa, wait a minute, now that sounds interesting and rings a bell in the spirit. Didn’t we just do a study on a great windy storm in the Middle East in the end days? Yes, we did.


Haven’t we read about Rimmon somewhere else in the Scriptures? Yes we have. It’s mentioned in the story of Naaman, the great Syrian soldier. 2 Kings 5:1, “Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, because by him Yahweh had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but a leper.” You know this story also, but read what recently healed Naaman says to Elisha the prophet in verse 18, “Yet in this thing may Yahweh pardon your servant: when my master goes into the temple of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow down in the temple of Rimmon—when I bow down in the temple of Rimmon, may Yahweh please pardon your servant in this thing.” Rimmon is a deity of wind, rain, and storm, worshipped by the ancient Syrians. Rimmon is a demon, a principality and power of the air over Damascus, Syria. Rimmon, the wicked spirit having rule over Damascus for thousands of years is still embattled today.


Watch the world news, read up on what has been happening in Syria for the last couple of years. A physical battle is raging, but a spiritual battle is raging also. For some reason, Allah the god, or mighty one, of the Muslims is trying to take down Rimmon, the god, or mighty one, who has been ruling over Damascus, Syria, for thousands of years. I’ve told you before that demons hate everyone, not just Yahweh. They hate Satan and each other. There must be something significant going on in the spiritual realm for Satan to be destroying his own kingdoms and replacing them with other leadership.


My guess is that these demon powers see the host of the armies of heaven amassing around the Middle East for the great endtimes battles leading up to and including the Battle of Armageddon. Of course Yahweh is manipulating all these satanic forces for His purposes. There has to be realignments of nations to fulfill all the end time prophecies. The Devil’s hordes will resist the plan of Yahweh to the bitter end. Rimmon apparently doesn’t want to give up his little realm of authority over Damascus, Syria. You know where Rimmon’s resistance will lead. Yep, you guessed it, Isaiah 17:1, “The burden against Damascus. “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap.” The day is coming when Isaiah 17:1 will be fulfilled. This could happen at any minute now, literally. If Bashar al-Assad unleashes chemical or biological weapons against the Syrian rebel forces, someone, say the U.S. military, or Israel’s IDF, may have to nuke Damascus to bring an end to Assad’s bloody earthly reign, and Rimmon’s 6,000 years of spiritual rule over Syria.


When will this final showdown occur? I don’t know, Yahweh knows. End time events are on His schedule, not mine. The U.S. military is leading NATO into Syrian intervention right now as I write this. The spiritual battle over Damascus has been raging for 6,000 years. It will come to an end real soon, if not in 2012 or 2013, then when Yeshua returns to crush all His enemies.


Pray for the people of Damascus and all the Syrians. Yeshua may yet save a few more souls before the ruinous end of Damascus. You can bet that Rimmon doesn’t want to give up any lost humans to the Kingdom of Yahweh. The sea of humanity in the Middle East is boiling, raging, a great storm of opposing interests. The demon principalities over the Middle East nations are fighting each other at the same time humans are engaged in battle. The return of our Prince of Peace is the only final solution to our brothers’ troubles in the Middle East. Come Lord Jesus.

Amos 7:17, “Therefore thus says Yahweh: ‘Your wife shall be a harlot in the city; your sons and daughters shall fall by the sword; your land shall be divided by survey line; you shall die in a defiled land; and Israel shall surely be led away captive from his own land.’”


Zechariah 12, “The burden of the word of Yahweh against Israel. Thus says Yahweh, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: 2“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. 4In that day,” says Yahweh, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. 5And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Yahweh of hosts, their Mighty One.’ 6In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem.

7“Yahweh will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8In that day Yahweh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like the Almighty, like the Angel of Yahweh before them. 9It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

10“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.”


Zechariah 14:2, “For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.”


Joel 3:2, “I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land.”


Here’s my assumption today. The nations of the world, and their leaders, are more stupid than a box of rocks. The United Nations of the world recently voted to upgrade the status of the so-called Palestinian state at the U.N. This act of stupidity will lead to the further division of the land of Israel and Jerusalem. Even a box of rocks knows better than to do something so stupid. You see, what these stupid nations don’t realize is that the Promised Land of Israel doesn’t actually belong to the Israelis, or to the United Nations, or to the so-called Palestinians, it belongs to Yahweh, our Creator. Yahweh gave the Promised Land to Israel as a wedding gift of love. Notice that in Joel 3:2 above, Yahweh states it is His Land. Yahweh created the planet, which includes the Promised Land, and it will always be His Land. Psalm 24:1, “The earth is Yahweh’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.”


Many people on the planet have heard of the word Armageddon. Those who have not soon will. What these stupid nations don’t realize is that what they are doing is fulfilling Yahweh’s ancient prophecies in the Holy Scriptures. The nations of the world are leading themselves and the rest of humanity toward a great battle in Israel, Armageddon. Unfortunately for the stupid nations that hate Israel and her Mighty One, the stupid nations of the world lose the Battle of Armageddon. You can read about this great end-time battle of the world in Ezekiel 39 and Revelation 19:1-20:6. What’s fascinating to me about this battle, is that after being crushed, then experiencing real peace and prosperity for 1,000 years, these same stupid nations of the world will be deceived again by Satan and try the same stupid war again. You can read about the final great Battle of Armageddon, which will occur in about 1,000 years from now, in Ezekiel 38 and Revelation 20:7ff.

What’s sad is that even after 1,000 years of peaceful living in an almost perfect world with Yeshua ruling in righteousness from Jerusalem, humans will again vote for Satan and his evil way, and turn against Yahweh one last time. But even that is good news, because Yahweh will FINALLY destroy Satan after that last Battle of Armageddon and judge the stupid box of rocks humans.


Unfortunately for Israel and believers, we will be knocked around for a few more years, but remember that all this stupid action leads to the JESUS ADVENT 2.0!! What we know for now is that many groups of people want Jerusalem, the Vatican, the Muslims, the Jews, and even some Christians want a piece of Jerusalem. Not one of these groups will be happy with the results of the surveyors’ dividing work. The fireworks in Israel are just beginning. Daniel 9:26c, “And till the end of the war desolations are determined.” Trust me, Yahweh considers a divided Jerusalem and Israel a desolation. Watch and pray for Yeshua’s soon return.

Hosea 5:13 is being fulfilled before our eyes, “When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then Ephraim [modern Israel] went to Assyria [Germany] and sent to King Jareb; yet he cannot cure you, nor heal you of your wound [a hopeless peace process].”


As America slides into the abyss of history, watch Germany take over America’s role in the Middle East. Read this story from the Philadelphia Church of God to see how Israel and Germany are fulfilling Hosea 5:13 today:


Israel is in desperate straights and needs to turn to her Messiah, but is she ready yet? Just as there is no indication that America is repenting and turning to Yahweh, there is no indication that Israel is repenting and turning to Messiah Yeshua. Israel continues to turn to the arm of flesh for help and protection. Apparently, she’s not desperate enough yet.


As the Antichrist spirit and the New World Order emerge, watch Yahweh arise out of His place, ready for battle and judgment. Isaiah 26:21, “For behold, Yahweh comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth will also disclose her blood, and will no more cover her slain.” Micah 1:2-3, “Hear, all you peoples! Listen, O earth, and all that is in it! Let Sovereign Yahweh be a witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple. 3For behold, Yahweh is coming out of His place; He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth.” Yeshua is about to stand up and intervene directly in human history. Daniel 12:1, “At that time Michael [angelic type of Messiah] shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book.” Some believe we’re already in the first half of the tribulation years. It doesn’t feel like it, but that’s fine with me. Let’s get this wind storm over with sooner rather than later. If we’re not already in the tribulation, then rest assured that it’s coming soon to a planet near you.


All the skirmishes in the Middle East are simply precursors to World War III and eventually Armageddon. Did you know that Russia is backing the Syrian government of al Assad, while Germany is backing the Syrian rebels? Syria’s civil war is simply a proxy war between the two rising superpower nations. As always the large nations use trouble in the smaller nations to test weapons, strategies and tactics, and logistics in preparation for an inevitable greater war. Yeshua warned us about all these wars and rumors of wars. We need to continue to watch events and pray for the people involved. Nothing and no one can stop prophecy from being fulfilled. Yahweh said it and that settles it; the end will happen just as He said it would. The cyber war part of World War III has been going on for years already. Did you know that during this last Gaza battle, that Israel was cyber-attacked 44,000,000 times by her enemies? Only one computer system was breached. Yahweh truly watches over the apple of His eye!! Jeremiah 49:23-27, “Against Damascus [Syria]. “Hamath and Arpad are shamed,

For they have heard bad news.

They are fainthearted;

There is trouble on the sea;

It cannot be quiet.

24  Damascus [Syria] has grown feeble;

She turns to flee,

And fear has seized her.

Anguish and sorrows have taken her like a woman in labor.

25 Why is the city of praise not deserted, the city of My joy?

26  Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets,

And all the men of war shall be cut off in that day,” says Yahweh of hosts.

27 “I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus [Syria],

And it shall consume the palaces of Ben-Hadad.”” Isaiah 17:1, “The burden against Damascus. “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap.”” Damascus is soon to have a really bad nuclear day. Pray for the people, their souls hang in the balance.


We certainly wouldn’t want to leave Iran out of all this fun, Jeremiah 49:34-39, “”The word of Yahweh that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam [Persia, Iran], in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, 35“Thus says Yahweh of hosts:

‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam [Iran],

The foremost of their might.

36 Against Elam [Iran] I will bring the four winds

    From the four quarters of heaven,

    And scatter them toward all those winds;

There shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam [Iran] will not go.

37 For I will cause Elam [Iran] to be dismayed before their enemies

And before those who seek their life.

I will bring disaster upon them,

My fierce anger,’ says Yahweh;

‘And I will send the sword after them

Until I have consumed them.

38 I will set My throne in Elam [Iran],

And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says Yahweh.

39 ‘But it shall come to pass in the latter days:

I will bring back the captives of Elam [Iran],’ says Yahweh.”


There’s hope for Iran in the end, but why is the Lord upset with Iran today? Maybe it has something to do with their fierce hatred of Israel and their desire to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Sounds like they hate Yahweh, kind of like America hates Him.


The nations of the world are about to pull the proverbial plug on America. The American Dollar is being abandoned by the world at an alarming rate. America was just shut out of the rising Asian economic block. The 15 Asian nations will now tie their currency to China’s, not to the Dollar. Bye bye Ameriker. America’s headlong rush over the fiscal cliff cannot and will not be stopped by the gutless fools in Washington D.C. There is no solution for America outside of a spiritual awakening toward Yahweh and His Son Jesus Christ. And America will be invaded, or at least nuked, by at least one enemy. Hollywood movies do reveal some of the plans of the New World Order. Is that their way of warning us or mocking us? Make no mistake, America is going down, it won’t be pretty, and we may take most of the rest of the world down with us. And yes, we do deserve the punishment.


I find it simply amazing that there are still Christians who believe that a Palestinian state inside the nation of Israel is a good thing. Have they read the Book? Joel 3, “For behold, in those days [early 21st Century] and at that time [uh soon],

When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,

2  I will also gather all nations,

And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;

And I will enter into judgment with them there

On account of My people, My heritage Israel,

    Whom they have scattered among the nations;

    They have also divided up My land. [You must understand this point. Yahweh takes this Palestinian statehood thing very personally. It is an affront and offense to Him. Look out Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims.]

3  They have cast lots for My people,

Have given a boy as payment for a harlot,

And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.

4  “Indeed, what have you to do with Me,

O Tyre and Sidon [Lebanon, Hezbollah], and all the coasts of Philistia [Gaza, Hamas]?

Will you retaliate against Me?

But if you retaliate against Me,

Swiftly and speedily I will return your retaliation upon your own head;

5  Because you have taken My silver and My gold,

And have carried into your temples My prized possessions.

6  Also the people of Judah and the people of Jerusalem

You have sold to the Greeks [Westerners],

That you may remove them far from their borders.

7  “Behold, I will raise them

Out of the place to which you have sold them,

And will return your retaliation upon your own head.

8  I will sell your sons and your daughters

Into the hand of the people of Judah,

And they will sell them to the Sabeans,

To a people far off;

For Yahweh has spoken.”

9  Proclaim this among the nations:

Prepare for war!

Wake up the mighty men,

Let all the men of war draw near,

Let them come up.

10 Beat your plowshares into swords [Oh ok, put another AK-47 on the Christmas shopping list.]

And your pruning hooks into spears;

Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’”

11  Assemble and come, all you nations,

And gather together all around.

Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O Yahweh.

12 “Let the nations be wakened [The world desperately needs a spiritual awakening!], and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;

For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.

13 Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. [Revelation 14]

Come, go down;

For the winepress is full,

The vats overflow—

For their wickedness is great.”

14  Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!

For the day of Yahweh is near in the valley of decision.

15 The sun and moon will grow dark,

And the stars will diminish their brightness.

16 Yahweh also will roar from Zion,

And utter His voice from Jerusalem [Just His small still voice scares the hell out of me.];

The heavens and earth will shake;

But Yahweh will be a shelter for His people, [If we’re going to be pre-tribulation raptured, why do we need Him to shelter us?]

And the strength of the children of Israel.

17 “So you shall know that I am Yahweh your Mighty One,

Dwelling in Zion My holy mountain.

Then Jerusalem shall be holy,

And no aliens shall ever pass through her again [that includes ALL the surrounding Muslim nations].”

18 And it will come to pass in that day

That the mountains shall drip with new wine,

The hills shall flow with milk,

And all the brooks of Judah shall be flooded with water;

A fountain shall flow from the house of Yahweh

And water the Valley of Acacias.

19 “Egypt shall be a desolation [Ezekiel 29:1-16, a gift-wrapped nuke for Pharaoh Morsi],

And Edom a desolate wilderness [Jeremiah 49:7-22],

Because of violence against the people of Judah,

    For they have shed innocent blood in their land [How many thousands of rockets have landed on Israel over the last 20 years?].

20 But Judah shall abide forever,

And Jerusalem from generation to generation.

21 For I will acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted;

For Yahweh dwells in Zion.”


It’s a fatal mistake to go against Israel. Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you [descendants of Abraham, Israel], and I will curse him who curses you [descendants of Abraham, Israel]; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” This is why we pray for the leaders of the nations of the world. They just don’t have enough spiritual discernment to save themselves or their people.
