The Falling Away

The Falling Away

An end times prophecy fulfillment

Please set these verses in your mind before proceeding with the rest of the article:

Luke 8:13 “And those on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy. And these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of trial fall away.

This probably describes quite well how I was for many years, but now I am coming towards faith, into faith, abiding faith in Him.  I’m not falling away, I’m falling straight into His heart!! The events in my life over the last couple years have been driving me to Yahuah and Yeshua, not away from Elohim.  Working too much for too little for too many years, then wasting my precious family time on a stupid computer hobby, I lost my first love, no question about it.  I’ve probably lost my family over it also.  But now that I know that doubt and unbelief is a fundamental component of double-mindedness, I can combat that with faith in the Word, Yeshua.  If I had spent as many hours studying the Word, as I did studying stupid computer crap and freedom movement junk, I wouldn’t be in the situation I’m in today.  Maybe I’d be in a hotter one!  Ha, ha.

Heb. 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Set-apart Spirit, and have tasted the good Word of Yahuah and the powers of the age to come, and fall away, to renew them again to repentance – having impaled for themselves the Son of Yahuah again, and put Him to open shame.

Up until October, 2004, I had been tasting the powers of the Age that is here, the Pentecostal Age, not the Age to come, the Tabernacles Age.  I’ve done nothing but repent for the last two months, and I hope I never stop until I’m glorified.  The fire burning in my heart tonight is so much hotter and purifying than when I was studying and teaching the freedom movement stuff.  I’m falling in love with my Abba Yahuah, and do not have any desire to fall out of His hands.  I’m just now, in the last couple weeks, beginning to taste of the powers of the Age to come, the Tabernacles Age, and it’s WONDERFUL!!!  I don’t see how anyone could fall away from the truth of Yahuah in me, the Hope of Glory, my glorified body in the Tabernacles Age.  Who would want to fall away from that?

Mat 6:24 “No one is able to serve two masters, for either he shall hate the one and love the other, or else he shall cleave to the one and despise the other. You are not able to serve Yahuah and mammon.

Mammon means wealth or avarice, which is an extreme desire for wealth.  Now I admit, I may have had that sin, I hope I don’t still have that one.  I will pray about it.  I don’t recall repenting of that, yet…..  But as I am delivered more and more each day from slavery to sin, I am becoming Yahuah’s bondservant.  I believe that’s one of His goals (and now mine too, Rom. 15:8) , to turn us into His bondservants.  I would hope that I no longer have such sin in me.  The Spirit has not convicted me of such a sin.  I do know that it is easier in this world to do things when you have wealth.  I have been making Fire Proof Investments over the last couple months (days, years, decades).  I hope someday I can share with you the Reward Of Inheritance rates that I’m receiving so far.  WOW!  I keep praying for more financial seed to sow, and I’m sure you guys are also.  We need to be like Isaac and keep sowing, even in what appears to be a time of famine.  Fire Proof Investing is a very private matter between you and your Elohim, as you know, so we don’t talk about seed in the ground, so we don’t pluck it up.  Pray over all your seed sown, from the moment you were born again.  Yahuah is doing a marvelous thing in the financial realm in these last days.  Debi has access to all my studies on finances.  You should read my commentary on Dr. Avanzini’s thirty, sixty, hundred fold principles.  Now that’s good stuff.  The twelve laws of the harvest will work in this Age, and in all the Ages to come.  We have to learn to sow and reap according to the LAW of Yahuah.  Everything in this universe works by His LAW.

Heb 13:6 so that we boldly say, “יהוה is my helper, I shall not fear what man shall do to me.”

Boldness is one good thing we are all supposed to pray for.  Thanks for the reminder.  The trouble I have with pagan rulers is nothing compared to the trouble I have with believers.  Now I’m sounding like Paul.  Sorry.

Gal 5:1 In the freedom with which Messiah has made us free, stand firm, then, and do not again be held with a yoke of slavery.

Amen!

What is it about fear that man has more of it of other men than of Yahuah? The Puritans and others arrived on the North American continent looking for a place they could freely worship their Creator away from the persecution of men. They relied perfectly on His guidance, provision and protection. How is it that most of those who, centuries later, inhabit that continent have given themselves over to the protection and provision of other men rather than their Yahuah?

Is the story of man that, even though it always fails, culture after culture will abandon the possessor of infinite power to provide for them to trust in themselves?  Why do so many believers trust only so much in YAHUAH so as to make themselves comfortable and feeling righteous but give their everyday concerns and allegiances to other infallible, and usually self interested, men?  Power begets power and the servants of the people always become the rulers of the people.  Out of fear of those who should have the peoples’ interest at heart, people bow down and accept bondage rather than stand, unconcerned with persecution, and only obey the Creator rather than man.  Are men so weak that they can only give lip service to He who controls their eternity while becoming servants and slaves to those who would rule over them in this life?

Many speak of belief and faith but differ in what that really means to them.  For one it is giving over each part of their lives, all credit and reliance for provision and protection in uncompromising faith to Yahuah while avoiding all bondage to men.  For another it is disregarding all belief in a supreme power and counting on man to be the controller of the destiny of men. For many of faith it is giving degrees of gratitude to Yahuah while believing we are to make all worldly decisions and also submit to the governance of man’s political, religious and economic/commercial inventions.

The reliance on groups for defense, commerce, and power over others began with extended families striving for survival in an early world.  Despite Yahuah’s admonition for all men to respect and care for each other, groups often sought abundance and ease at the expense of others.  Conquerers and politicians alike have always taken advantage of current situations to enrich themselves with power, control or wealth. Those who are taken advantage of have a choice of defending themselves or submitting.  Sometimes the submission is wrapped in what appears to be material convenience or enrichment of themselves giving over one’s Yahuah-given liberties and rights to others as a trade for privileges or benefits.  Over time and generations this becomes the accepted lifestyle with few challenging or thinking it unusual or unscriptural.  Interpretations of scripture are increasingly skewed toward the accepted thinking leaving believers caught in the misconceptions.

([i]exp. Romans 13, 1 Peter 2)

Bob, to do this topic justice, with scholarly integrity, you really need to print out Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2 and do verse by verse analysis for your readers.  You have to show with definitions, etc., how in 1 Peter 2:13-14, the word submit does not mean submit to the king (feds) or governors (state), when in most people’s concordances, the word submit means to subordinate, or to obey.  You have to deal with that.  How can a fallen society maintain order without submission to the public authorities?  Have fun with this.  I’ve written so many articles on this stuff, but I’m now more interested in people learning to love and worship Yahuah and love their neighbor, and building the body to minister from hearts of love.  With families and marriages blowing apart like they are, this stuff is just not relevant to me and 7 billion other people.  The COI will scare 200,000 people into the COI.  Whoopie, Yahuah is trying to love 7 billion people into His kingdom.  Bottom line.

2 Pet. 2:18-22 For speaking arrogant nonsense, they entice – through the lusts of the flesh, through indecencies – the ones who have indeed escaped from those living in delusion, promising them freedom, though themselves being slaves of corruption – for one is a slave to whatever overcomes him.

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Saviour  יהושע  Messiah, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the set-apart command delivered unto them. For them the proverb has proved true, “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A washed sow returns to her rolling in the mud.”

Good rebuke Bob, arrogance was exactly the sin Yahuah convicted me of first thing this morning, August 2.  I just hope Yahuah is separating me so far from my sins, that I will learn to hate them as He does, and will be repulsed at the idea of committing any kind of sin.  My heart is for the Kingdom, towards Yahuah and for His people.  I hope that He is preparing me to minister effectively with Him to His people.  You see, Bob, I have never escaped the defilements of the world, up to now, that’s what I’m in the process of NOW.  When you guys get a step-by-step how-to plan for people to escape (darn, there’s that word again!) in the realm of SSNs, licenses, contracts, etc., let me know, I’d be interested in seeing that.  NONE of the crap Deb and I wasted years and tons of money on worked.  When you’ve escaped the defilements of the world, let me know.  Escape means to run away, shun, to vanish.  Does COI have that step-by-step plan to help people do that?  We may not see the fulfillment of the vision until we are in the Third Day.  Do you have the power to vanish?  We must find out what DEFILEMENTS are in Yahuah’s LAW.  I don’t think I’ve ever studied that one.  The Greek word here is the word miasma, means moral foulness, or the effect of moral foulness.  It’s a spiritual character term, NOT a legal, government, authority, or political term.  Go figure.  The sanctification process by His refining fiery Law is all about cleansing us from moral foulness in the world.  But until this body of death, where sin dwells in my members, is transformed into an incorruptible body, I’ll struggle with moral and character issues.  I’m glad you and Debi have your incorruptible bodies, translate out to Falcon and see me some time.  I really miss all of you.

When is the last time you questioned such things as social security numbers, birth certificates, marriage licenses not to mention drivers licenses, auto registration or property taxes?  Do you know what real estate, warranty deeds, or land patents really are?  Have you ever questioned your personal liability for the innumerable taxes?  Do you understand the difference between money and federal reserve notes? What is the definition of United States?  Who in man’s government can make laws, who cannot? How does one become a United States citizen and did the early generations of people born or living within the defined borders of the several but united states consider themselves such?  Are your answers to those questions founded in fact or assumption?

Good stuff Bob, but just not relevant to sinners that need their Messiah.  If you want people to get into this stuff, you need testimonies of successful comer outers.  Who has bought a house for cash, and is not paying real estate taxes on it?  With names, addresses, phone numbers and pictures, stuff like that.  Who is working a regular joe paycheck job without taxes being taken out and nothing being reported to anyone, including workers comp.  Show me some testimonies!!!!  How about some how-to DVDs?  Your calling is just different than mine.  I used to think this stuff was where I wanted to spend my life, but it’s not.

1 Sam. 8:5 -7 and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now appoint for us a sovereign to rule us like all the nations.” But the word was evil in the eyes of Shemu’ĕl when they said, “Give us a sovereign to rule us.” So Shemu’ĕl prayed to יהוה and יהוה  said to Shemu’ĕl, “Listen to the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from reigning over them……

1 Cor. 5:9-11, “I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. 10Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.”

You see, Bob, you lose relevance to sinners in the world that need their Savior.  You go so far out, you need to leave (escape?) the world to get there.  It’s proper to separate yourselves from someone like me, I have been a terrible sinner for about 13 years, I deserve death for murdering my wife’s heart and my family relationships, but praise Yeshua, His blood covers me too.

Paul said in Romans 12:2, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (not our governments), that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of Yahuah.”

Conformed means to fashion alike, or conform to the same pattern.  It’s a cultural thing.  You wear tzitzits and a funny beard and go to synagogue on Saturday, you stand out in your culture. At least the Jews and Muslims will notice you.

Do you accept the positions of particular religious leaders without comparison to scripture?  Is your salvation through your relationship with your Savior and Yahuah or through some words or ritual of a priest, minister or rabbi?  Do you search out the scriptures? Which law was Shaul saying we are not under, that of Yahuah’s, given at Sinai, or Pharisees (rabbis today)? What did Yeshua say? Have you signed a membership contract with a congregation (church)?  Is that organization a congregation of Yahuah or a franchise of the state? Who do they submit to? Do you understand the true purpose of a 501(c)(3) religious corporation and the limitations placed on it by government?

Do you depend on Yahuah for your assurance and protection or do you spend on insurance with funds that could be used for other purposes. If your faith was completely in Yahuah, would He allow you to be put into a position that you could not afford or was not a witness for Him? Who do you give your first fruits to? Do you have to hold down two jobs or both parents work to support the family? If you weren’t strapped with taxes on your labor could you better raise your family?

Psa. 78:22 Because they did not believe in Yahuah, Neither did they trust in His deliverance.

Have you contracted your liberty away?  What is freedom? Are you really free or just told you are?  Are you perhaps doing the bidding of others?  Does “Gal. 5:1 In the freedom with which Messiah has made us free, stand firm, then, and do not again be held with a yoke of slavery.” give you desire to be free? Then 1 Cor. 7:21 Were you called while a slave? It matters not to you, but if you are able to become free too, rather use it. Did Yeshua bring a religion or a kingdom, a government?

1 Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”

We are a spiritual kingdom of priests.  Yahuah’s kingdom is a spiritual kingdom.  There is a lot of stuff we need to be working on in the COI, like codifying the Scriptures by topic as a Code of Law.  A lawful judge on earth will need to have a quick reference Code Book to rule by; a computerized version would be cool, even on the Net would be best.  We’ve made a start, but like I said, we need to focus, Focus, FOCUS!  The King is arriving soon, and there is a lot of infrastructure to be put in place.  We need equipment to print our own license plates, and plastic ID cards.  How about a half dozen really fast computers?  Why evangelize when we can’t even live and work together as a tiny community?  We need to find somebody we can TAX!!!!  Heh, heh.

I tried to get free, but was not able.  So far, all it has done is destroy my life, which is Biblical as I recall. What I need is a Kinsman Redeemer to redeem my so-called debt to the IRS and the State of Colorado, then I will believe that someone is walking with Yeshua today.  Maybe I’m not smart enough, or maybe too fearful……oh no!  I would rather go to jail because of the Gospel of peace than for being a bad citizen.  It’s a matter of callings and priorities.  Once I have my glorified body, full redemption, then I can come out from under all the world’s systems that I need to.  Then we will really be able to establish the COI.  Then the Kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdoms of our Master and Savior.  We don’t yet have the power of the third stage, or Tabernacles stage, of the Holy Spirit to get the job done completely.  But we will soon!!!  I love you man, keep studying!

What is this all saying and how does it apply to today and the end times.  Luke 8:13 tells us that in times of trial men will fall away from faith.  This leaves them to world systems, man’s governments and franchised churches.  However:

Mat. 24:13 “But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.

Mar. 13:13 “And you shall be hated by all because of My Name. But he who shall have endured to the end, he shall be saved.

Jam. 5:11 See, we call those blessed who endure. You have heard of the endurance of Iyob and saw the purpose of יהוה, that He is very sympathetic and compassionate.

If we are to be ready to endure we must prepare now.  There will be little time for change when the end times come and we have not changed our hearts and lives, if we have not freed ourselves from the worldly masters. Action is required.  Just believing in your heart is not enough if you are able to free yourself. And by complete faith you are.  If you are ill prepared the only option for you will be to fall away and depend on yourself and men.

You need a few hundred booklets explaining some of this action, step-by-step.  The key to becoming an Overcomer (the Bride, the Barley company) is not coming out, it is becoming a Forgiver.  Add Jeremiah 34 and Matthew 18 here.  The key is simple, just not easy.  We are at the end of the Age, and the Law that is ruling this transition time is the Law of Jubilee, Forgive and Release all sin debt against you.  Men always make the Gospel message more complicated than it is.  If it’s too tough for common Joe Sinner, it’s not Gospel.  Yeshua came to save sinners not slick lawyers, scribes and Pharisees.  If I need anything, or anyone, other than Yeshua crucified, buried, resurrected and ascended, to become an overcomer, it’s not Gospel.  His finished work is either sufficient, or He’s not Yahuah.  Period.

Gal. 5:13 For you, brothers, have been called to freedom, only do not use freedom as an occasion for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Rev. 18:4-5 And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. Because her sins have piled up to reach the heaven, and Yahuah has remembered her unrighteousnesses.

Bob, I think you would be hard pressed to use Revelation 18 to show that Babylon is anything other than the Harlot Church (the wheat company).  Look at verse 3, “For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

Verse 4, “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.”

Her is the Harlot, not the Bride.  All the pagan merchants, kings, nations, shipmasters, sailors, etc. stand back and watch the refining fire of Yahuah’s Law [see deut 33:2] (Rev. 18:8) purify the Harlot in the end.  They are amazed at her torment, because of her sorcery in deceiving the whole world (verse 23), that’s why she gets paid back double according to the Law Thieves of Exodus 22:4 (Think CODIFY!).  The Harlot Church killed the prophets and saints, therefore she must die, according to the Law of Murderers in Numbers 35 (Think CODIFY!).

The kings, nations, and merchants of the world are not part of HER discipline by refining fire.  The Harlot Church is chastised, the nations get their judgment later.  The Lake of Fire itself is nothing more than the refining fire of Yahuah’s Law for unbelievers, all will believe in the end of the Ages of the Ages.  There is no unending torture for unbelievers, it’s not Lawful.

I have no problem coming out of her, but until we have Yeshua’s economy pumping through our glorified bodies, that other stuff can wait.

There are many questions above that are not answered here.  You must pray for truth and listen to the Ruach for the answers. Avoidance of the truth may leave you comfortable now but may cost you dearly later.

May Yahuah bless you with wisdom and boldness.

Bob, your stuff is good, keep putting it together and expanding it, if you feel you should “invest” your time in it.  You really have to pull in lots of Scripture, but not read biases into the Scripture that’s not there.  Let’s give to Yahuah what belongs to Yahuah and leave Ceasar’s scraps to Ceasar.  You pursue the Kingdom, the COI, and all this stuff will just fall away like so much dross, or chaff in the wind.  Through the catalyst (substance) of faith, you turn the key of forgiveness in the lock of love on the King’s door of mercy that swings by the hinges of grace and truth and enter into the Realm of the Overcomer.  Now I’m preaching, please excuse.

Bob, I hope you didn’t read that attachment to Debi, unless she ok’d it, some of that was pretty private stuff.  I will prepare a version for you so you hopefully will understand what transpired in the Court of Yahuah on August 1, 2006, between my wife and I.

Blessings (and forgiveness) to you,

Gene2

Faith – The Law of the Catalyst

FAITH – THE LAW OF THE CATALYST

As revealed to Gene W. Benjamin II

Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

While meditating this Scripture on Resurrection S-nday evening, April 12, 1998, I wanted to know what faith really is.  I was thinking of faith in relation to when I turn on a light switch, expecting and knowing the light will come on the instant (NOW faith is, this I understood) I flip the light switch.  Faith is not the light bulb, or the light itself (the EVIDENCE of things not seen, this I understood), or the power that produces the light that is flowing in the wires all the time.  It’s not the light switch or the power plant down town.  It’s not the wires either.  Faith is not me, or me walking over to the light switch, or even the action of flipping the switch.  The expecting is hope (of things HOPED for, this I understood), the knowing is belief.  It’s the SUBSTANCE part that I DO NOT UNDERSTAND!!  Oh Yahuah, WHAT is FAITH?  Words started coming up out my spirit, words like action, will, and then my knower that I know, that I know that I know spirit settled on the word CATALYST.  That’s it!  I knew that I knew that was it!  I grabbed my Webster’s Dictionary to see what a catalyst was:

catalyst 1: a SUBSTANCE [emphasis mine!] (as an enzyme) that initiates a chemical reaction and enables it to proceed under different conditions (as at a lower temperature) than otherwise possible 2: an agent that induces catalysis; broadly : one that provokes significant change

Faith is a catalyst!  It’s an initiator, a provoker, an inducing agent that allows us to act under different conditions than plain old natural carnal humans.  It’s what motivates us to step into the realm of the divine, out of the natural and into the supernatural!  Yahuah is the power that saves and the power that heals.  Faith is the catalyst that causes us to choose with our own free will to believe Yahuah’s Word enough to take Him at His Word and therefore to act on His Word.  Faith sparks us to choose to lay hands on the sick and see them recover.  Faith induces us to choose to receive financial blessing from Yahuah through humans.  Faith initiates our willpower to choose to trust Yahuah for salvation in the first place.  Faith kindles that fire in our bones to preach Yahuah’s Word expecting results like what Yeshua produced!

Faith works with my will, never overriding it, to cause me to act in line, in union, in harmony with Yahuah, His Word, and His will for my life.  I have tried for years to figure out with my mind what faith is.  Hebrews 4:12 states, “For the Word of Yahuah is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Understanding of Yahuah’s Word comes only by revelation through his Holy Spirit.  You can read and study and teach the Word of Yahuah out of your soul and never have a spirit understanding of what it is saying or what it really means in the Kingdom of Yahuah.  Thank you Yeshua for your precious Word of life, my living thirst-quenching water.

Faith is what stimulates that boldness of spirit in healing evangelists to do whatever Yahuah tells them to do to an infirm individual to see them made whole; like when Yeshua spat in the dirt to make muddy eye patches for the blind man.  Faith is what releases the Holy Spirit in us to boldly rebuke Satan off of and out of people.  Faith incites us to choose to speak the Words Yahuah gives us for people.

Faith is what energizes us to choose to connect our spirit with the Holy Spirit of Yahuah to see His power flow through us to others.  Like electricity, the power of Yahuah is always flowing and is always available.  But you will never see the light until faith stimulates you to choose to flip the light switch ON!  You could pray and ask Yahuah to turn on the light, but He won’t do it.  He’s given that authority to you as a human.  You could try commanding the light to come on, but it won’t work.  You could call the electric power company and beg and plead with them to send you more power so your light will come on.  They won’t and it won’t.  You already have more than enough power flowing to power up the light bulb!  You could ask someone else to turn on the light for you.  That might work if they believe in light switches and that there really is power flowing through the wires.  Or you could just stir yourself up in your most holy faith (Jude 20) and reach out and touch Yahuah Almighty and let His power flow through you to light up your life!

Now you know what Paul meant when he said in Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Yahuah.”  You make faith more powerful, stimulating if you will, and stronger by hearing Yahuah’s Word spoken and preached.  You want a more potent instigator faith!  You want a provoking faith, a stirring up faith. The apostles desired growth in their faith when they asked Yeshua in Luke 17:5b to, “Increase our faith.”  The word they used for increase is Strong’s number 4369, which means to place additionally, lay beside, annex, repeat.  They thought they could add on more faith to the faith they already had; like faith + faith = double faith.  They apparently did not understand the principle that Paul taught later in Romans 12:3, that every man had been dealt the measure of faith.  Again, the problem with their faith was not volume or quantity but quality, as Yeshua instructed them in Luke 17:6 with the correct teaching that faith is like a grain of mustard seed.   The size of the seed is not the issue, it’s the fact that it’s a pure seed, a pure CATALYST, that will stimulate the birth of a mustard plant.  Yeshua states that a pure faith, unmixed with doubt or unbelief, might incite you to, “…say unto this sycamine tree, ‘Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea,’ and it should obey you.”  It will obey the command spoken with a pure doubtless faith.  Man has been given a finite amount of perfectly pure faith as determined by Yahuah, but it is enough to do all that He commands us in His Word to do on this earth.  Yeshua, of course, has an infinite amount of faith, because He is Yahuah and has the Spirit of Yahuah without measure as stated in John 3:34.  He also has absolutely pure faith.  When Yeshua speaks His faith, even nonexistent things listen and become existent things, lumps of clay become sentient beings.  Faith is substance that causes significant changes to occur.

Divine faith will stimulate you to make wise choices that will lead to divine actions that fulfill Yahuah’s perfect will in your life.  Now you can understand how fear is the opposite of faith.  Fear is a negative catalyst.  Fear will cause you to make unwise choices that will lead to devilish actions whereby you will never fulfill Yahuah’s will for your life.

Enumeration of Human Flesh

Enumeration of Human Flesh

Exodus 30:11-16   “Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 12’When you take the census of the children of Israel for their number, then every man shall give a ransom for himself to the LORD, when you number them, that there may be no plague among them when you number them. 13This is what everyone among those who are numbered shall give: half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (a shekel is twenty gerahs). The half-shekel shall be an offering to the LORD. 14Everyone included among those who are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering to the LORD. 15The rich shall not give more and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when you give an offering to the LORD, to make atonement for yourselves. 16And you shall take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of meeting, that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD, to make atonement for yourselves.’”

In this passage of scripture, we see God’s purposes for numbering humans.  For Moses, it was only a matter of obedience.  God said count them, Moses said yes sir and did it.  God the Creator owns His creation, therefore He has certain rights as Creator God.  He can do with his creation what He wants to.  The great Shepherd has a right to know how many sheep and goats He has.  The beauty of this passage is that it reveals the unfolding of the covenant with Abraham.  God wanted His people numbered for only one purpose, to REDEEM them.  The people were counted so they could then give an offering (known as the Temple tax in the New Testament) to the Lord for the redemption of their lives.  The Lord was showing them that a price had to be paid for the redemption of their souls, to atone for their sin.  It costs to be a part of the Covenant family of God.  Rich and poor alike were commanded to give an offering of the half-shekel (ten gerahs) to ransom their lives.  Notice it was to keep plagues from them, to keep them healthy and prosperous.  God was and still is interested in the health and welfare of His children.  The people participated in the covenant with the Lord by giving a free-will offering to support the tabernacle and the service and work of the priests and Levites.  It was another way for the Lord to show them they needed a Redeemer, a constant reminder that they were captives to sin and needed a ransom paid to atone for that sin.  The Lord counted His people for a good cause, to bring blessing, healing and salvation to His flock.

I should point out that the Hebrew children were not assigned a number, like a social security number, they were just counted and their names written down by families.  This was one way the Hebrews kept their family genealogies.  Another point on the human side of this counting is that it’s purpose was to determine how many warriors Moses had in his army.

Twenty years ago, you would have had a hard time getting me to read the Old Testament, especially the book of Numbers.  Now I’m actually studying it.  In Numbers 1-4 we see more than one census being taken for different purposes.

Numbers 1:1-19;44-54, “1Now the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying: 2“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, every male individually, 3from twenty years old and above—all who are able to go to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall number them by their armies. 4And with you there shall be a man from every tribe, each one the head of his father’s house.

5“These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: from Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur; 6from Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai; 7from Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab; 8from Issachar, Nethanel the son of Zuar; 9from Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon; 10from the sons of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; from Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur; 11from Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni; 12from Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai; 13from Asher, Pagiel the son of Ocran; 14from Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel; 15from Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.” 16These were chosen from the congregation, leaders of their fathers’ tribes, heads of the divisions in Israel.

17Then Moses and Aaron took these men who had been mentioned by name, 18and they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they recited their ancestry by families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, each one individually. 19As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the Wilderness of Sinai.

44These are the ones who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, with the leaders of Israel, twelve men, each one representing his father’s house. 45So all who were numbered of the children of Israel, by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war in Israel—46all who were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

47But the Levites were not numbered among them by their fathers’ tribe; 48for the LORD had spoken to Moses, saying: 49“Only the tribe of Levi you shall not number, nor take a census of them among the children of Israel; 50but you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, over all its furnishings, and over all things that belong to it; they shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they shall attend to it and camp around the tabernacle. 51And when the tabernacle is to go forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The outsider who comes near shall be put to death. 52The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, everyone by his own camp, everyone by his own standard, according to their armies; 53but the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall keep charge of the tabernacle of the Testimony.”

54Thus the children of Israel did; according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did.”

In Numbers chapter 1, the Lord tells Moses to count all the male Israelites, 20 years old and above, by their families.  He wanted an exact arithmetic accounting of the able-bodied soldiers for the army.  In verse 18, it specifically says to number them by their lineage in the family tree.  They counted 603,550 warriors that day.  Notice that the Levites were excluded from active military duty, so they could perform their priestly functions in the tabernacle.

The first 31 verses of Numbers chapter 2 describe each family’s leader and how many in his tribal army.

Numbers 2:32-34, “32These are the ones who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses.  All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty. 33But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel, just as the LORD commanded Moses.

34Thus the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses; so they camped by their standards and so they broke camp, each one by his family, according to their fathers’ houses.”

Numbers 3 describes in more detail the separaton of the Levites unto their ministry duties in serving the priestly family of Aaron and the tabernacle.

Numbers 3, “1Now these are the records of Aaron and Moses when the LORD spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai. 2And these are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab, the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 3These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests, whom he consecrated to minister as priests. 4Nadab and Abihu had died before the LORD when they offered profane fire before the LORD in the Wilderness of Sinai; and they had no children. So Eleazar and Ithamar ministered as priests in the presence of Aaron their father.

5And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 6“Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may serve him. 7And they shall attend to his needs and the needs of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of meeting, to do the work of the tabernacle. 8Also they shall attend to all the furnishings of the tabernacle of meeting, and to the needs of the children of Israel, to do the work of the tabernacle. 9And you shall give the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they are given entirely to him from among the children of Israel. 10So you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall attend to their priesthood; but the outsider who comes near shall be put to death.”

11Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 12“Now behold, I Myself have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of every firstborn who opens the womb among the children of Israel. Therefore the Levites shall be Mine, 13because all the firstborn are Mine. On the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified to Myself all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast. They shall be Mine: I am the LORD.”

14Then the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, saying: 15“Number the children of Levi by their fathers’ houses, by their families; you shall number every male from a month old and above.”

The Lord is getting ready to do a switch here.  He had set apart all the firstborn in Israel to be his, now He is going to count the Levites to separate them to be His in place of the firstborn.

38Moreover those who were to camp before the tabernacle on the east, before the tabernacle of meeting, were Moses, Aaron, and his sons, keeping charge of the sanctuary, to meet the needs of the children of Israel; but the outsider who came near was to be put to death. 39All who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, by their families, all the males from a month old and above, were twenty-two thousand.

40Then the LORD said to Moses: “Number all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and above, and take the number of their names. 41And you shall take the Levites for Me—I am the LORD—instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel.” 42So Moses numbered all the firstborn among the children of Israel, as the LORD commanded him. 43And all the firstborn males, according to the number of names from a month old and above, of those who were numbered of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.

44Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 45“Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock. The Levites shall be Mine: I am the LORD. 46And for the redemption of the two hundred and seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel, who are more than the number of the Levites, 47you shall take five shekels for each one individually; you shall take them in the currency of the shekel of the sanctuary, the shekel of twenty gerahs. 48And you shall give the money, with which the excess number of them is redeemed, to Aaron and his sons.”

49So Moses took the redemption money from those who were over and above those who were redeemed by the Levites. 50From the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred and sixty-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary. 51And Moses gave their redemption money to Aaron and his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.”

The Lord took a census of two groups of people here, one – he counted the Levites, two – he counted all the firstborn males over one month old.  There were 273 more firstborn than Levites, so according to covenant, the 273 firstborn males had to redeem themselves out of direct service to the Lord.  Each of the 273 firstborn had to pay 5 shekels apiece to redeem themselves from the Lord’s service.  The first 22,000 were an even redemption trade, man for man, a life for a life.  Thereby, the Lord traded the firstborn whom He had previously set apart unto Himself in Egypt during the first Passover, with the Levites.  Now the Levites were officially and legally the Lord’s and Aaron’s servants in the Tabernacle.  What I really want you to notice is the purpose of these two counts in chapter 3.  Redemption.  God counted His people for the purpose of sanctification or redemption.  Our blessed Redeemer only needs to know how many people He has so He can redeem them.  What a beautiful picture.  God doesn’t number His people to tax them into the oppression of slavery, but to redeem them into holy consecrated service unto Him.  Wow, the army of Israel is just a symbolic picture of the spiritual army of the Church of Jesus Christ!!  People, you’ve been redeemed from the world and its systems, into the glorious privileges of service unto the Almighty, not with shekels of the sanctuary, but with the precious blood of the Sanctuary, Anointed Jesus!

Notice verses 48-51.  You won’t hear this preached in too many circles.  Those who purchased themselves out of direct service to the Lord were required to give the money to the priests, the preachers, and the pastors.  This is how the Lord designed the church’s organization to provide for ministers, so they can be wholly devoted to the work of the Lord and His temple, the body of Jesus.  Those not directly involved in full-time ministry are to support ministers with their tithes and offerings.  God’s system is so simple, we get off track by making things complicated.  I believe that’s human nature in contrast to God’s nature.

In Numbers chapter 4 the Lord has Moses and Aaron count the Levites by family, those 30 to 50 years old only, to give them their specific duties in the Tabernacle.  This was the Lord’s method of organizing the Levites into work groups for Tabernacle service.  The holy organization chart you might say.

Now, let’s take a look at man’s reasons for numbering human flesh.  The best example in the Old Testament is one of the stories of King David, taken from 2 Samuel 24 and 1 Chronicles 21.  In 2 Samuel 24, the Scriptures state that God incited David to do the census, but in 1 Chronicles 21, the Scriptures state that it was Satan who incited David to make the count.  It is plain that God was angry with Israel again, so he allowed Satan to tempt David with enumeration of the people, so God could destroy them.  To put it bluntly, the people of Israel brought this on themselves, Satan and David in his pride, were simply God’s instruments to bring judgement this time.

2 Samuel 24

1Again the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel, and he [Satan] moved David against them to say, “Go, number Israel and Judah.”

2So the king said to Joab the commander of the army who was with him, “Now go throughout all the tribes of Israel, from Dan to Beersheba, and count the people, that I may know the number of the people.”

3And Joab said to the king, “Now may the LORD your God add to the people a hundred times more than there are, and may the eyes of my lord the king see it. But why does my lord the king desire this thing?” 4Nevertheless the king’s word prevailed against Joab and against the captains of the army. Therefore Joab and the captains of the army went out from the presence of the king to count the people of Israel.”

David wanted to know how many troops he commanded.  Sounds like a reasonable thing for a king to need to know.  But as we will see, this was a matter of pride on David’s part.  You see, the children of Israel were God’s people, not David’s.  This was God’s army, not David’s.  God never meant for the children of Israel to have any other King but Him.  God is the only One who needed to know how many soldiers He had in his army.  David got confused on who was the owner and who was the steward.  God owned these souls, He had redeemed them from Egypt.  David was usurping authority that God never intended for him to have.  It seems a small thing to us from our human perspective, but God takes His business of redeeming humans very seriously.

5And they crossed over the Jordan and camped in Aroer, on the right side of the town which is in the midst of the ravine of Gad, and toward Jazer. 6Then they came to Gilead and to the land of Tahtim Hodshi; they came to Dan Jaan and around to Sidon; 7and they came to the stronghold of Tyre and to all the cities of the Hivites and the Canaanites. Then they went out to South Judah as far as Beersheba. 8So when they had gone through all the land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days. 9Then Joab gave the sum of the number of the people to the king. And there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men who drew the sword, and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men. [see also 1 Chronicles 27:24]

10And David’s heart condemned him after he had numbered the people. So David said to the LORD, “I have sinned greatly in what I have done; but now, I pray, O LORD, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly.””

David knew instantly that he had sinned.   His was the tenderest heart in the land.  He knew he had played the devil’s fool again.  He had crossed the fine line between stewardship and ownership.  He had wasted almost 10 months of his officer’s time and a lot of kingdom money taking this census, but that was just the beginning of the cost.

11Now when David arose in the morning, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Gad, David’s seer, saying, 12“Go and tell David, ‘Thus says the LORD: “I offer you three things; choose one of them for yourself, that I may do it to you.”’” 13So Gad came to David and told him; and he said to him, “Shall seven years of famine come to you in your land? Or shall you flee three months before your enemies, while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days’ plague in your land? Now consider and see what answer I should take back to Him who sent me.”

14And David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Please let us fall into the hand of the LORD, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.””

God in His mercy allowed David to choose the price to be paid for his error.  David could pick the judgement of a natural disaster, judgement by attack from his human enemies, or allow the Lord to strike the people directly with a plague.  None of these sound too pleasant, but David knew the Lord, so he put His trust in the merciful hands of God.

15So the LORD sent a plague upon Israel from the morning till the appointed time. From Dan to Beersheba seventy thousand men of the people died. 16And when the angel stretched out His hand over Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD relented from the destruction, and said to the angel who was destroying the people, “It is enough; now restrain your hand.” And the angel of the LORD was by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

17Then David spoke to the LORD when he saw the angel who was striking the people, and said, “Surely I have sinned, and I have done wickedly; but these sheep, what have they done? Let Your hand, I pray, be against me and against my father’s house.””

Seventy thousand of David’s finest soldiers died of a plague, because David had begun to believe the people were his, that he could do with them as he willed, not as the Lord willed.  It was a costly lesson, but one we should all heed.  The flock of God, the children of God, the Church of God does not belong to any human being, no pastor, teacher, evangelist, prophet or apostle.  If we abuse our privilege of being a steward over the flock of God, we risk punishment from our Father and King.

America’s Founding Fathers understood these principles, but I doubt that many of our so-called leaders in Washington D.C. today understand the dangers of abusing God’s people.  Why do our civil authorities number us today?  To tax us, to enslave us to conscripted service to the community village.

Our Founding Fathers understood that God called this great nation to bring the Gospel of Anointed Jesus to the world.  The pagan cowards leading this nation today are setting themselves and this nation up for severe judgement of God.  Did you notice that God was willing to punish the nation of Israel for seven years for one stupid decision of their king?  If the leadership of America does not repent of their wickedness of enumerating human flesh, you will see judgement on America.  David was instantly repentant, are we?

18And Gad came that day to David and said to him, “Go up, erect an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.” 19So David, according to the word of Gad, went up as the LORD commanded. 20Now Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming toward him. So Araunah went out and bowed before the king with his face to the ground.

21Then Araunah said, “Why has my lord the king come to his servant?”

And David said, “To buy the threshing floor from you, to build an altar to the LORD, that the plague may be withdrawn from the people.”

22Now Araunah said to David, “Let my lord the king take and offer up whatever seems good to him. Look, here are oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing implements and the yokes of the oxen for wood. 23All these, O king, Araunah has given to the king.”

And Araunah said to the king, “May the LORD your God accept you.”

24Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 25And David built there an altar to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.”

David bought physical real estate and built a stone and mortar altar to sacrifice burnt offerings and peace offerings to His God.  God heard David’s prayers and stopped the plague.  The Lord Jesus has bought the Church with His own blood and is building us into an altar of sacrifice to God.  That sacrifice is us, you and me, dying to our selfishness and pride, to serve our living God.  We don’t buy and build physical things now to serve a spiritual Kingdom.  Jesus is our Great Redeemer who has bought us and is building us into the most marvelous spiritual house of worship imaginable.  Hearts changed and molded into instruments of worship and spiritual service.  We no longer need to buy pieces of dirt and build brick and mortar altars to pay homage to a vengeful and angry God.  That is an Old Covenant, if not pagan, pattern and a resource wasting one at that.  It is time to buy and build, but not real estate and rocks.

Jesus said it best in Luke 12, 29“And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. 31But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

32“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old [see also Haggai 1], a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. 34For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

35“Let your waist be girded [see Ephesians 6:14] and your lamps burning; [see Matthew 25] 36and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. 37Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. 38And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 40Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

It’s time to clothe yourself with truth and the anointing of the Holy Spirit and do exactly what the Lord tells you to do, when He tells you to do it, how He tells you to do it, and where He tells you to do it.  That includes who, when and where to give financial offerings to.  Jesus stated in verse 33, not to put your finances into a depository that will wear out or become obsolete.  That means He wants you to give into kingdom work.  We’ve been a little busy these last few months sending five missionary families to Ufa, Russia.  The Bible school is up and running with over 100 students attending and more expected to arrive each week.  This is the greatest life-giving Christian work that I know of on the planet today.  The message of God’s grace is being poured into the hearts of Russians who have the vision to use what they learn to plant, establish, and pastor churches (not the brick and mortar type) all over Russia.  Consider yourself invited to participate financially and prayerfully in this great end-time work.

We are so close to the end when Jesus will come back, it’s mind boggling.  Do you realize your bank deposit is just electrons stored on the bank’s computer hard disk?  If you could excite those electrons to just one mile per hour faster than the speed of light, your money could literally be transported into your heavenly bank account?  Jesus has waited 6,000 years for human technology to catch up to speed with the Kingdom economy.  You can now transfer your earthly wealth into a Christian ministry’s bank account at almost the speed of light.  If anyone would like to donate to this ministry electronically, let me know, we can give you our bank account and routing information for wire transfers.  The only thing that reaches obsolescence quicker than the church bulletin is computer technology, but if you use the technology to invest into the Kingdom of God, you can leapfrog your investment into the eternal realm, receiving a 30, 60, or 100 fold return on your investment.  You can be the blessed servant or the beaten servant, it’s your choice.  You will always be free to choose what you buy and build.

EMERGENCY WAR POWERS ACT

“Study the Constitution.  Let it be preached from the pulpit, proclaimed in legislatures, and enforced in courts of justice.”  Abraham Lincoln

“You have rights antecedent to all earthly governments; rights that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws; rights derived from the Great Legislator of the Universe.” John Adams

“I believe there are more instances of abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations..” James Madison

If you have the intestinal fortitude for it, check out the web site http://www.tax-freedom.com/warpowrs.txt It’s a 33 page investigative report written by the American Agriculture Movement at Box 130, Campo, Colorado 81029 on the Emergency War Powers Act.  The report is too large to include in this newsletter, sorry.  Write to them for information or their book(s) if you do not have internet access.  The report reveals how during the Great Depression, FDR effectively cancelled the U.S. Constitution, using emergency powers.  Then in cahoots with the privately owned Federal Reserve System, stole American’s gold and silver, by no longer redeeming their gold or silver certificates.  The citizens of the United States were made enemies of the State, thereby making it possible for the U.S. Government to cancel contracts with its citizens (enemies under a state of emergency).  It’s an ugly story that will make your blood boil, but we’re living in the aftermath.  Clinton is just building on the treasonous acts of his communist predecessors.  No wonder the Lord calls this the end of the age; it’s been ending for almost a hundred years now.

Abraham Lincoln said, “We the People are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts – not to  overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.”

The United States Supreme Court has said, “It is not the function of government to keep the citizen from falling into error; it is the function of the citizen to keep government from falling into error.”

At the end of the report posted on the above web page are sample letters you can write to your President and Congressmen.  I urge you to get copies of those letters and do just that.  The American Agriculture Movement could use your donations also.

A View of the End of the Age

A VIEW OF THE END OF THE AGE

By Gene Benjamin II

2 PETER 3: 1 – 16,“This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up (to wake fully, that is, arouse[stirring up the body of the Anointed is my life-calling])your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”

I have understood for many years that the Lord’s time scale is defined in 2 Peter 3:8, one day in heaven = one thousand years on earth, one thousand years on earth = one day in the spiritual realm.  The Lord has for years taught the simplest spiritual truths with mathematical equations.  I am a simple man, he has to make His truth simple for me to get it.  So knowing this time scale, and having no doubt that the Lord knows how to tell time and count, it has bothered me in the last couple years that the millenium is only 1,000 years and not 2,000 years long.  Earth history is so easy to see in 2,000 year ages, so how could God make the new age only 1,000 years long?  From creation to Abraham was 2,000, from Abe to Jesus was 2,000 years, from Jesus’ day to 2,000 AD is two thousand years.  So why make the millenium only 1,000 years long?  The Lord finally just gave me the revelation out of Daniel 12.

DANIEL 12: 1 – 13, “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. 4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

5Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. 6And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? 7And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. 8And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. 11And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. 13But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.”

I was reading Daniel trying to get an understanding of the end of the age, when He just showed me earth history in a nut shell, “for a time, times, and an half”, a time = the first 2,000 years of earth history, times = the next two – 2,000 year periods or ages, that brings us up to our day at the turn of the 21st century AD, 6,000 years of human history is past, half = THE MILLENNIAL reign of Jesus on earth.  Wow, that blew me away.  Daniel predicted, prophesied that the Millennial age was only 1,000 years long, one day on God’s calendar.  And boing, the light goes on, and now I know what that means, the DAY of the LORD is 1,000 years long.  The whole Millenium is one day long and is the Day of the Lord; the Day of the Lord is the whole 1,000 year reign of Jesus on earth, ruling with a Rod of iron.  A whole lot more of end time teaching now makes sense to me.

MATTHEW 13:24 – 52, “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. 31Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 32Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. 33Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. 34All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: 35That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. 36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world (AGE); and the reapers are the angels. 40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world (AGE). 41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

44Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. 45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. 47Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 48Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. 49So shall it be at the end of the world(AGE): the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 51Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. 52Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.”

In Matthew 13, the Lord has shown me something I have not heard preached or taught before, to my limited knowledge.  When Jesus comes back to perform the end time reaping to gather His harvest, the people that go away are the lost, pagan, unsaved, sinners, the tares, not the wheat.  In verse 30, the tares are gathered first and burned with fire.  FIRE seems to be the sword or rod used in the end time to rule or judge the humans on earth.  In vs 40, it is again the children of the wicked one, the tares, who are burned in fire.  In vs 42, they are cast into a furnace of fire (tribulation?).  In verse 49, we see the wages of sin being paid as a severance payment; notice the wicked are severed from among the just, the evil ones go away, not the righteous.  In verse 50, we see for the fourth time in these few verses the wicked being cast into a furnace of fire.  I believe the Scripture teaches that the Lord uses two types of fire, one the refiner’s fire to purify His people, the other fire is the incinerator to burn the garbage.  I also believe that when the Lord repeats a phrase four times in one passage of scripture, He wants us to understand His emphasis.  The reaping process during harvest time does two things, it gathers the good into the barn and gathers the bad tares into the furnace of destructive fire.  I believe the end time harvest will see a large ingathering of saints, but we will also witness the torching of a large portion of the population in the Lord’s judgment fire.  Notice in vs 48, the good fish bad fish story, the bad fish are thrown away.

REV. 14: 14 – 20, “And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. 17And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire (LIGHTNING); and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.”

Here we see the end-time harvest, actually initiated by Jesus himself, as the King of the Angel-reapers spoken of in Mt. 13.  If you want to slice this passage up, you could say there are two harvests, one of Jesus harvesting souls into His kingdom, the second the angels reaping pagans into the wrath of God.

In Revelation 15:2, the Lord reveals 4 goals for the end-time saint:

1 – Gain victory over the beast (within?)

2 – Gain victory over his image (idolatrous pictures in the mind?)

3 – Gain victory over his mark (whom are you sealed by?)

4 – Gain victory over the number of his name (social security number?)

This is the enduring to the end spoken of in Matthew 24:13.

MATTHEW 24, “And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to show him the buildings of the temple. 2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world (AGE)?

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Anointed; and shall deceive many. 6And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. 23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before. 26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Mt. 24:31 speaks of the harvest of saints – it’s a gathering, not a leaving.  I do not believe the saints are going away in a rapture.  The Son of Man is coming, but we’re not going anywhere.  Verses 37-39 are comparing the end time to the days of Noah, notice it is the evil people again that go away, not the righteous.  God spares and delivers his saints through the day of judgment, He doesn’t take them out of the way during the judgment.  Same as in the Exodus, God delivered His people through the judgment plagues on Egypt, then they left victorious. I believe this is how it will be in the tribulation.  God will deliver His saints through the tribulation, then Jesus comes back at the end of the 7 years of tribulation.  We can’t meet the goals of Revelation 15:2 if we don’t go through the tribulation.

As I studied this passage, the Lord gave me a new understanding of vs 40-41.  The people taken here are the pagans being reaped in wrath, going to the furnace of fire in judgment.  I had never seen it this way before, and I could never think this up on my own.  I’m not smart enough.  Verses 46-47 verify this, Jesus comes to find His saints still on earth, so he can set them up to rule with Him for 1,000 years.  Jesus is coming back to find us being faithful on earth, not in heaven.  Verse 51 explains what happens to the unfaithful, severed, separated from the Master.

MATTHEW 25, “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. 19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. 26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. 29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”

Verse 10 could be interpreted as the rapture, but we can go into the Spirit any time and enjoy our marriage to the Lamb.  I believe this is a continuance of the separating the saints from the pagans in the end-time harvest.  Verse 31 and following seems to verify this to me, it’s the separating of the sheep from the goats at Jesus’ 2nd coming at the end of the 7 yr tribulation.  Verse 41, the pagan goats are torched in the devil’s hell-fire.  Verse 46 is the Good News, somebody gets saved, it’s the righteous.

1 COR. 15: 20 – 28. “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. 24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.”

Jesus’ 2nd coming is what really ushers in the end of the age of grace and ushers in the one-day half-age Day of the Lord.  Jesus will reign until even death itself is destroyed.

REV. 20: 7 – 15, “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.  11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

The Lord showed me that the Day of the Lord is one long, one thousand year long, Day of Judgment, ending with that Great White Throne Judgment.  Jesus’ reign during the Millennium will be a reign of Judgment with a rod of iron and a sword of fire.  Once death and hell are finally destroyed, Jesus turns the Kingdom over to the Father, like it says in 1 Cor. 15.

LUKE 17:20-37, “And when the Pharisees had demanded of Him when the kingdom of God should come, He answered them and said, ‘The kingdom of God cometh not with outward show. 21Neither shall they say, ‘Lo it is here!’ or, ‘Lo it is there!’ For behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.’ 22And he said unto the disciples, ‘The days will come when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. 23And they shall say to you, ‘See here!’ or, ‘See there!’ Go not after them, nor follow them. 24For as the lightning that lighteneth one part under heaven shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in His day. 25But first must He suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man. 27They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30Even thus shall it be in the Day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31In that Day, he that shall be upon the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take them away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32Remember Lot’s wife. 33Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.’  37And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the vultures be gathered together.”

The ones left are the Christians, the ones taken are the tares, being taken to the fire of judgement.  The vultures are gathering for a hot lunch.

Come out of Whom?

Come out of Whom?

The true Church or assembly of Yahuah has always been described as a woman in the Scriptures, but also the false church is also described as a woman.  Rev 18:4,  “And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. “  Is this speaking of the Church of Yeshua, or the assembly of men?  It is the prostituted assembly, the worldly, debauched church system.  This is not a command to come out of the world system.  You would have to leave earth to come out of the world system.  Listen to what Yeshua says in John 17:15-18, “”I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the wicked one.  (16)  “They are not of the world, as I am not of the world.  (17)  “Set them apart in Your truth – Your Word is truth.  (18)  “As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world.”  We are to be in the world, but not part of it.  We have to be in the world in order to impact our culture for good with the Gospel.  Listen to what Paul says in 1 Cor. 5:9-11, “I wrote to you in my letter not to keep company with those who whore.  (10)  And I certainly did not mean with those of this world who whore, or with the greedy of gain, or swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.  (11)  But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone called ‘a brother,’ if he is one who whores, or greedy of gain, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler – not even to eat with such a one.”  We are to come out of the harlot church, not out of the world.  You have to die physically to come out of the world.  2 Cor. 1:12,  “For our boasting is this: the witness of our conscience that we behaved (conducted) ourselves in the world in simplicity and sincerity of Yahuah, not in fleshly wisdom but in the favour of Yahuah, and much more toward you.”  Phi. 2:15, “in order that you be blameless and faultless, children of Yahuah without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,”  Col. 2:20-22,  “If, then, you died with Messiah from the elementary matters of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations (of religious men):  (21)  “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle” –  (22)  which are all to perish with use – according to the commands and teachings of men?”  We are to come out of the religious whore of Babylon, the religious church system created by men (Jewish and Gentile).  1 John 2:15-17, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of Yahuah abides forever.”  We are not to love the religious or worldly systems, nothing that is made by men are we to lust after.  We are to pant after Yahuah and His truth and righteousness.  The apostle John knew what this was all about, 1 John 4:1-17, “Beloved ones, do not believe every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of Yahuah, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  (2)  By this you know the Spirit of Yahuah: Every spirit that confesses that יהושע  Messiah has come in the flesh is of Yahuah,  (3)  and every spirit that does not confess that יהושע  Messiah has come in the flesh is not of Yahuah. And this is the spirit of the anti-messiah which you heard is coming, and now is already in the world.  (4)  You are of Yahuah, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.  (5)  They are of the world, therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.  (6)  We are of Yahuah – the one knowing Yahuah hears us. He who is not of Yahuah does not hear us. By this we know the Spirit of the Truth and the spirit of the delusion.  (7)  Beloved ones, let us love one another, because love is of Yahuah, and everyone who loves has been born of Yahuah, and knows Yahuah.  (8)  The one who does not love does not know Yahuah, for Yahuah is love.  (9)  By this the love of Yahuah was manifested in us, that Yahuah has sent His only brought-forth Son into the world, in order that we might live through Him.  (10)  In this is love, not that we loved Yahuah, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be an atoning offering for our sins.  (11)  Beloved ones, if Yahuah so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  (12)  No one has seen Yahuah at any time. If we love one another, Yahuah does stay in us, and His love has been perfected in us.  (13)  By this we know that we stay in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.  (14)  And we have seen and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son, Saviour of the world.  (15)  Whoever confesses that יהושע  is the Son of Yahuah, Elohim stays in him, and he in Elohim.  (16)  And we have known and believed the love that Yahuah has for us. Yahuah is love, and he who stays in love stays in Elohim, and Elohim in him.  (17)  By this love has been perfected with us, in order that we might have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is so are we in this world.”

If we are to come out of the world system, why is it in Revelation 18, that the merchants and traders of the world system stand by and watch as the whore of Babylon, the worldly church system, is thrown down, judged, and burned up?  Revelation 18, “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.  (2)  And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great (the harlot Church) is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.  (3)  For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.  (4)  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (the harlot Church), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.  (5)  For her sins have reached unto heaven, and Yahuah hath remembered her iniquities.  (6)  Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.  (7)  How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.  (8)  Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is Yahuah Elohim who judgeth her.  (9)  And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,  (10)  Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.  (11)  And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:  (12)  The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,  (13)  And cinnamon, and odors, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.  (14)  And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.  (15)  The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,  (16)  And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!  (17)  For in one hour so great riches is come to naught. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,  (18)  And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!  (19)  And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.  (20)  Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for Yahuah hath avenged you on her.  (21)  And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.  (22)  And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;  (23)  And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.  (24)  And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.”  There is a real possibility that this harlot church is specifically speaking of the Roman Catholic Church (and all her daughter church systems), who has persecuted the true church for millennia, but it could be the whole religious church system devised by men to deceive and take captive the souls of men, to keep them from the Kingdom of Yahuah.  But notice that at this point in the Day of Yahuah, that it is NOT the world system of commerce that is being judged, it is a religious system that is being judged and burned down.  It is so obvious that it is a religious system going down, that pagan Jewish and Gentile businessmen recognize it and bewail it.  Now there is also the parallel possibility that this is talking about the “Jewish” religious system of oral traditions of the “Jewish” fathers.  That system has also persecuted the true assembly for millennia.  Since, in the end times, there are only going to be two churches, the bride (true Israel) and the harlot (false Israel), it is very possible that these prophecies are speaking of both the Catholic and Jewish religious systems, the false Gentile church, and the false Israelite church.  In other words, all the false religious systems of men are coming down to pave the way for the one true King and His bride!!  Are you in or are you out?  Ready or not, here He comes!

It’s Elementary My Dear Children

It’s Elementary My Dear Children

In the book of Hebrews, we learn much about our High Priest, Yeshua.  The writer starts out by saying that he wants to move on from the elementary principles or teachings of Messiah, presumably to some deeper knowledge of our great Savior, Yeshua HaMashiach.  Let’s see what some of these things are.  In Hebrews 6:1-2, “Heb 6:1-2  Wherefore, having left the word of the beginning of the Messiah, unto the perfection we may advance, not again a foundation laying of reformation from dead works, and of faith on Yahuah,  (2)  of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on also of hands, of rising again also of the dead, and of judgment age-during,”  Here the writer mentions several things are apparently the basic commencement, or introductory teachings of Messiah that Yeshua shared with the world during his first appearance on the planet.  These basic teachings included:

1 – repentance from dead works (oral traditions),

2 – faith in Yahuah,

3 – the various ceremonial sprinklings, or cleansings, of the priests,

4 – laying on of hands for baptism in the Holy Spirit and healing,

5 – resurrection of the dead,

6 – age-enduring judgment.

These are six basic principles of Messiah’s kingdom.  We need to understand them, so we can grow beyond them to deeper principles in the kingdom.  What I want to focus on in this study is the concept of the age or age-during, or age-enduring, or from the ages to the ages.  It’s quite clear from Hebrews 6:2 that judgment only lasts for an age, or through a certain age.  It is clear for someone reading in the Spirit that the concept of eternal torture of unbelievers is NOT supported in this verse.  The concept of eternity or everlasting is NOT taught in this verse.  Judgment of mankind will only last to or through an age that is determined by Yahuah himself.  This is a basic teaching of Messiah that we must get settled in our spirit, so we can move on in our understanding of our loving, merciful heavenly Father.

The writer continues in verses 3-6, “and this we will do, if Yahuah may permit,  (4)  for it is impossible for those once enlightened, having tasted also of the heavenly gift, and partakers having became of the Holy Spirit,  (5)  and did taste the good saying of Yahuah, the powers also of the coming age,  (6)  and having fallen away, again to renew them to reformation, having crucified again to themselves the Son of Yahuah, and exposed to public shame.”  The writer assumes that his readers have tasted of these basic six principles of the kingdom.  Verses 3-6 make no sense to a person who has NOT tasted all six of these basic principles of His kingdom.  You have to have already turned from following dead men’s oral traditions.  That covers a lot of ground in itself, from the Hebrew rabbis to the Christian pastors and teachers.  Denominationalism has no place in our lives. You have to already have been regenerated into faith in Yahuah for salvation.  You have to be a believer to understand verses 3-6.  You should already be familiar with the ceremonial sprinklings, or cleansings, NOT immersion, of the priest.  When, why, and how did they do them.  What was the purpose of these things in the Law?  You should already be filled with the Holy Spirit and His fire, so you are walking in the power gifts that He endows you with.  You are Pentecostal aren’t you?  Verses 3-6 can make no sense to you unless you are.  You should already understand the various resurrections from the dead, Yeshua’s, the overcomer barley companies’ at His second coming, the wheat company believers’ at the end of the thousand year millennium, and the resurrection of the unbelieving grape company at the end of the millennium.  And you absolutely must understand that the concept of unending torture of unbelievers is NOT biblical.  Judgment only lasts for as many ages as Yahuah orders.  The most severe punishment revealed in the Torah is the execution of a criminal, then toss his body into the city dump, thus denying him a proper burial.  That’s it, no torture allowed, not even by Yahuah.  He would be unjust to punish beyond the statutes and judgments written in His Law.

The writer makes it very clear that you must have tasted and partook of all six of these principles BEFORE you could qualify as one who falls away.  If you are not walking in the light of these six basic principles, you cannot fall away from them.  You can’t fall away from something to which you haven’t even attained yet.  Look at verse 5, “and did taste the good saying of Yahuah, the powers also of the coming age.”  Notice that it does not say eternal age, or everlasting age.  An age has a beginning and an end.  The age he’s talking about here is the next one to come, the Messianic Age of Messiah’s millennial reign on earth, since the writer was living and writing at the beginning of the Pentecostal Age.  It will be an age of power because the overcomers will be reigning with Messiah in their glorified bodies, no more mortal weaknesses for them.

My question is, why would anyone who is walking in the light of these six basic principles in the joy of the Holy Spirit want to even consider falling away?  What could be more wonderful during the Pentecostal Age?  If we would but get comfortable in the fire of His judgments and afflictions, we would continue to seek and run to Him, not away from Him.  We also learn to obey through the things we suffer.

The writer continues in verses 7-8, “For earth (you dear reader), that is drinking in the rain (of the Holy Spirit) many times coming upon it, and is bringing forth herbs (fruit of the Spirit) fit for those because of whom also it is dressed, doth partake of blessing from Yahuah (according to the Law),  (8)  and that which is bearing thorns and briers (no fruit, bad fruit) is disapproved of, and nigh to cursing (according to the Law, NOT beyond it), whose end is for burning (refining fire of Yahuah’s judgment, to purify you);”  This is the burning fire that Yeshua wanted to see kindled on the earth while He was still walking among us, as He stated in Luke 12:49, “I came to send (refining) fire on the earth (on you, dear reader), and how I wish it were already kindled (anapto)!”  Yahuah revealed to me many years ago that part of my calling is to kindle this fire in my brethren.  That’s why my email screen name is anapto, I’m here to light you up, to enkindle the fire of the Holy Spirit in your spirit!!  It is by the fire of Yahuah that we are conformed to the image of His Son, Yeshua.  We want the dross burned out of our lives.  You want to be rid of all sin before Yeshua returns.  This is our calling and destiny!  Yahuah wants pure crystal clear golden children, and He will have His way.  You want to swim in the river of fire that flows from His throne, it’s the river of the waters of life.  There is no other way back to the Garden of Eden, you must go through the flaming fire of His sword, the living burning Word.  Let Him have His way in your heart, your earth, your promised land.

This is what the writer is talking about in verses 9-12, “and we are persuaded, concerning you, beloved, the things that are better, and accompanying salvation, though even thus we speak,  (10)  for Yahuah is not unrighteous to forget your work, and the labour of the love, that ye shewed to His name, having ministered to the saints and ministering;  (11)  and we desire each one of you the same diligence to shew, unto the full assurance of the hope unto the end,  (12)  that ye may not become slothful, but followers of those who through faith and patient endurance are inheriting the promises.”

The end in verse 11 could be the end of this age, the age to come, the end of your physical life on earth, the end of Yahuah’s plan for you.  Yes, Yahuah’s plan has an end goal in mind, the restoration of all things, as explained in Acts 3:21, “whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which Yahuah has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.”  The word times here is chronos, the time of restoration of all things has a beginning, which I believe has already begun, and it has an end in some future age, as spoken by Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:28, “Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that Yahuah may be the all in all.”  There is no room for unending torture of unbelievers in this concept.  Yahuah subjects His enemies to Him by turning His enemies into His friends.  All men will be saved eventually.  We are inheriting the promises, even now.

The writer finishes chapter 6 with verses 13-20, “For to Abraham Yahuah, having made promise, seeing He was able to swear by no greater, did swear by Himself,  (14)  saying, `Blessing indeed I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee;’  (15)  and so, having patiently endured, he did obtain the promise;  (16)  for men indeed do swear by the greater, and an end of all controversy to them for confirmation is the oath,  (17)  in which Yahuah, more abundantly willing to shew to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, did interpose by an oath,  (18)  that through two immutable things, in which it is impossible for Yahuah to lie, a strong comfort we may have who did flee for refuge to lay hold on the hope set before us ,  (19)  which we have, as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and entering into that within the vail,  (20)  whither a forerunner for us did enter–Yeshua, after the order of Melchisedek chief priest having become–to the age.”

We inherit salvation by two immutable things that Yahuah has provided, the promise and the oath.  Your salvation is doubly secured by Yahuah who cannot morally lie; it’s against His nature to lie, because He loves the Truth.  We need to learn to love truth as He does.  Yahuah promised He would bless Abraham and his children, and He confirmed that promise with an oath, a two-fold security system for your salvation.  Why would you want to fall away from that?  The promise was unconditional and cannot be nullified by the Law, which came 430 years later, as Paul states in Galatians 3:16-18, “Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Messiah. 17And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by Yahuah in Messiah, that it should make the promise of no effect. 18For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but Yahuah gave it to Abraham by promise.”  The Renewed Covenant was made between Yahuah and Yeshua, by promise, ratified in the blood of Yeshua, you are not a part of this covenant, you just inherit the benefit of it, salvation.  Your performance, whether to gain or to lose salvation, is not in consideration in this covenant.  You will be restored to your Creator, Yahuah, whether you think you want to be now or not.  He is sovereign, not you.

Notice verse 20 in Hebrews chapter 6.  Yeshua is made the Melchisedek High Priest, for an age, or to the age.  To what age?  To the age of restoration of all things.  We may not need a High Priest, once all of creation is set free in the Jubilee at the end of all the ages of Yahuah’s plan.  Yeshua said you would be set free indeed.  He meant it.  We should be perfectly conformed to the image of Yeshua by the end of the ages.  In that day we should be able to live in perfect harmony with our Heavenly Father and our fellow immortals.  I look forward to seeing you there.

In chapter 7 of Hebrews, whenever the writer talks of Yeshua being priest forever, he is saying to the age, or for the age, or He is an age-during priest.

Chapter 8 continues the discussion about the fact that we do have this High Priest Who is ministering for us in the heavenly tabernacle or Court of Yahuah on our behalf.  Verse 13 is fantastic, it says the Renewed Covenant has made the Old Covenant obsolete and that the old is ready to disappear, but it does NOT say that the old has disappeared yet.  It’s old, it’s aging, it’s senescent, it’s obsolete, but it’s not gone yet.  The Assembly of Yahuah needs to understand that we still need the Law so we know how to live with each other and with our Elohim.

Now on to chapter 9 of Hebrews.  Verses 1-11 talk of the priestly services in the earthly tabernacle, but then speaking of Yeshua in verse 12, “neither through blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, did enter in once into the holy places, age-during redemption having obtained;”  What do we see here?  Our redemption will last through an age, or the age to which Yahuah wants it to endure.  Is that eternal security of the believer?  Or do we come to a place in our life where we no longer need redemption?  Once the plan of redemption is complete, do we need Yeshua’s blood covering any longer?  These are dangerous questions.  In the Law, the one redeemed served the Redeemer until the redemption price had been paid back.  Will we someday be true co-heirs with Yeshua, walking as fully redeemed men, truly free indeed?  We will then serve Yahuah because we love Him and we want to serve Him, not because we owe our Redeemer a debt of service.  That will be the sense in which our redemption is eternal.  We will only owe Him our love, but we will be forever grateful for what He did for us, so we will serve Him out of a pure heart of love.  That age is coming.

Verse 14 could be troublesome, “how much more shall the blood of the Messiah (who through the age-during Spirit did offer himself unblemished to Yahuah) purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living Elohim?”  You know that the Holy Spirit is eternal because He is One of the Elohim.  He is One of the Unity of the Echad.  So why did the writer say age-during Spirit?  It’s possible that he was referring to the Passover Age in which Yeshua did His redemptive work.  The Holy Spirit of Yahuah will be the age-during Spirit of all ages, past, present, and future.  And no matter in which age Yeshua were to offere Himself, He would be an unblemished sacrifice, in any past age, present age, or any age to come, because the Son is also eternally existent.  Notice that the phrase in this passage is in parenthesis.  It’s possible that this was just a margin note of an early copyist of the Scriptures.  No matter how many ages Yahuah has in His plan, the Holy Spirit will endure through all of them.

Verse 15 continues, “And because of this, of a new covenant he is mediator, that, death having come, for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, those called may receive the promise of the age-during inheritance,”  You mean our inheritance may not be eternal?  But it will endure through all the ages that Yahuah has planned.  There is a beginning and an end to our inheritance.  Outside of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, evidence for eternal or everlastingness is just not in the Scriptures.

Hebrews 9:26, “since it had behoved him many times to suffer from the foundation of the world, but now once, at the full end of the ages, for putting away of sin through his sacrifice, he hath been manifested;”  Yeshua did His redemptive work on the execution stake at the consummation of the Passover Age.  It was the perfect time and place in history.  Thank Yahuah that He only had to do that once, but the results will last to the . . . ages!

Now we jump to Hebrews 13:20, “And the Elohim of the peace, who did bring up out of the dead the great shepherd of the sheep–in the blood of an age-during covenant–our Master Yeshua.”  Whoa, you mean the covenant itself only lasts through a certain age?  Yeah, until the redemptive process is totally complete.

And verse 21, “make you perfect in every good work to do His will, doing in you that which is well-pleasing before Him, through Yeshua HaMashiach, to whom is the glory–to the ages of the ages! Amen.”  What?  We’re not going to give glory to Yeshua forever?  No, just from age to age, age after age, to the ages!!

31 Laws of the Increase

31 Laws of the Increase

with 25 Keys to Sowing and Reaping

by Ralph Messer

March 27, 2004

1 – God wants to increase the miracles that you experience.

Luke 21:15, “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.”

Prov. 16:7, “When a man’s ways please the LORD,

He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

Isa. 54:17, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper,

And every tongue which rises against you in judgment

You shall condemn.

This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,

And their righteousness is from Me,”

Says the LORD.”

Eccl. 7:12, “For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense,

But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.”

Prov. 2:6, “For the LORD gives wisdom;

From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;”

Mark 11:23-24, “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

2. God wants to increase your revelation of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Ps. 25:12-14, “Who is the man that fears the LORD?

Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.

13 He himself shall dwell in prosperity,

And his descendants shall inherit the earth.

14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him,

And He will show them His covenant.”

Eze. 36:22-26, “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. 23And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD,” says the Lord GOD, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. 24For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. 25Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. 26I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

Wisdom creates currents of favor towards me.  More I walk in wisdom, the more I will walk in holiness.

3. God Wants to increase my wisdom.  Plan ahead, manage increase.  Manage resources.

Prov. 4:8, “Exalt her, and she will promote you;

She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.”

Prov. 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing;

Therefore get wisdom.

And in all your getting, get understanding.”

James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

Eph. 1:8, “which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,”

4. God wants to increase my finances.  Let God bless us.

Ps. 112:1-3, “Praise the LORD!

Blessed is the man who fears the LORD,

Who delights greatly in His commandments.

2 His descendants will be mighty on earth;

The generation of the upright will be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches will be in his house,

And his righteousness endures forever.”

Keys of Sowing and Reaping

To Increase your finances:

  1. There will never be a day in your life that you will have nothing to sow.
  2. You will always reap exactly what you sow.
  3. Your seed is anything that blesses somebody.
  4. The law of the seed (sowing & reaping) was intended to birth encouragement, hope and excitement towards a harvest.
  5. Your seed is any tool God has given you to create your future.
  6. Something you have been given by God will create anything else that you have been promised by God.
  7. You are a walking collection of seeds.
  8. Someone near you is “the soil” qualified to receive your seed.
  9. When I let go of what is in my hand, God let’s go of what’s in His hand.
  10. The seed that leaves your hand never leaves your life, it just leaves your hand and enters into the future where it multiplies.
  11. If you keep what you presently have, that is the most it will ever be.
  12. When you ask God for a harvest, God will always ask you for a seed.

You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. 14So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.”

12 Laws of the Harvest

12 LAWS OF THE HARVEST

by Dr. John Avanzini

1 – Your seed must be planted.

John 12:24, “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed.  But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”

2 – You must render your seed useless.

John 12:24, “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed.  But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”

3 – You must plant what you expect to harvest.

Genesis 1:12, “The land produced vegetation:  plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.  And God saw that it was good.”

4 – Your harvest size is established when your seed is sown.

II Corinthians 9:6, “Remember this:  Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”

5 – Your seed must be planted in good ground.

Matthew 13:8, “Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop —  a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

6 – You always wait a period of time between planting and harvesting.

Mark 4:26-27, “He also said, ‘This is what the kingdom of God is like.  A man scatters seed on the ground.  27Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.'”

7 – You must maintain your crops for a proper harvest.

Matthew 13:7, “Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants.”

8 – Always sow to your harvest size, not from your harvest size.

Genesis 26:12, “Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundred-fold, because the Lord blessed him.”

9 – Your expense is always highest at harvest time.

Matthew 20:1, “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire men to work in his vineyard.”

10 – A part of your harvest is for sowing again.

II Corinthians 9:10, “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

11 – A part of your harvest is for you to keep.

I Corinthians 9:7, “Who serves as a soldier at his own expense?  Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its grapes?  Who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk?”

12 – Your harvest is a miracle.

I Corinthians 3:6, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.”

Four Dogmasin – Public Decrees

FOUR DOGMASIN – PUBLIC DECREES

Acts 15:19-20, “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to Yahweh, 20but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood.”

Under grace, the fleshly works of the Torah of Moses are no longer relevant, but the conditions of the eternal covenant of promise still are. As augmentations to the 10 commandments, there are 4 public decrees, or ordinances, that we must continue to keep until Yahweh tells us otherwise. The rest of the purity laws of Moses were nailed to the execution stake of Yeshua. Do not worry about them.

The Scriptural foundation for the four dogmasin are as follows:

1 – Do not eat or drink blood:

Gen. 9:4, “But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.”

Lev. 3:17, “This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor blood.”

Lev. 17:10-14, “And whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ 12Therefore I said to the children of Israel, ‘No one among you shall eat blood, nor shall any stranger who dwells among you eat blood.’ 13“Whatever man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who hunts and catches any animal or bird that may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood and cover it with dust; 14for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, ‘You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.”

Lev. 19:26, “You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor shall you practice divination or soothsaying.”

Deut. 12:23, “Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life; you may not eat the life with the meat.”

Deut. 15:23, “Only you shall not eat its blood; you shall pour it on the ground like water.”

2 – Porno – Sexual immorality:

Lev. 18:1-30, “Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘I am Yahweh your Mighty One. 3According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ordinances. 4You shall observe My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them: I am Yahweh your Mighty One. 5You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live by them: I am Yahweh. 6‘None of you shall approach anyone who is near of kin to him, to uncover his nakedness: I am Yahweh. 7The nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncover. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness. 8The nakedness of your father’s wife you shall not uncover; it is your father’s nakedness. 9The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or elsewhere, their nakedness you shall not uncover. 10The nakedness of your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, their nakedness you shall not uncover; for theirs is your own nakedness. 11The nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, begotten by your father—she is your sister—you shall not uncover her nakedness. 12You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister; she is near of kin to your father. 13You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is near of kin to your mother. 14You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You shall not approach his wife; she is your aunt. 15You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law—she is your son’s wife—you shall not uncover her nakedness. 16You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife; it is your brother’s nakedness. 17You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, nor shall you take her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near of kin to her. It is wickedness. 18Nor shall you take a woman as a rival to her sister, to uncover her nakedness while the other is alive. 19‘Also you shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness as long as she is in her customary impurity. 20Moreover you shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, to defile yourself with her. 21And you shall not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your Mighty One: I am Yahweh. 22You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. 23Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion. 24‘Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. 25For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. 26You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you 27(for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), 28lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you. 29For whoever commits any of these abominations, the persons who commit them shall be cut off from among their people. 30‘Therefore you shall keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am Yahweh your Mighty One.’”

Lev. 20:10-24, “The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress, shall surely be put to death. 11The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. 12If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death. They have committed perversion. Their blood shall be upon them. 13If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. 14If a man marries a woman and her mother, it is wickedness. They shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you. 15If a man mates with an animal, he shall surely be put to death, and you shall kill the animal. 16If a woman approaches any animal and mates with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood is upon them. 17‘If a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness, it is a wicked thing. And they shall be cut off in the sight of their people. He has uncovered his sister’s nakedness. He shall bear his guilt. 18If a man lies with a woman during her sickness and uncovers her nakedness, he has exposed her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from their people. 19‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister nor of your father’s sister, for that would uncover his near of kin. They shall bear their guilt. 20If a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They shall bear their sin; they shall die childless. 21If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing. He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They shall be childless. 22‘You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out. 23And you shall not walk in the statutes of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they commit all these things, and therefore I abhor them. 24But I have said to you, “You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am Yahweh your Mighty One, who has separated you from the peoples.”

Deut. 27:20-23, “‘Cursed is the one who lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s bed.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ 21‘Cursed is the one who lies with any kind of animal.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ 22‘Cursed is the one who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ 23‘Cursed is the one who lies with his mother-in-law.’ “And all the people shall say,  Amen!’”

1 Thes. 4:2-8, “for you know what commandments we gave you through the Master Yeshua. 3For this is the will of Yahweh, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; 4that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know Yahweh; 6that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because Yahweh is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 7For Yahweh did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 8Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but Yahweh, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.”

1 Cor. 6:9-20, “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of Yahweh? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of Yahweh. 11And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Master Yeshua and by the Spirit of our Mighty One. 12All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but Yahweh will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Master, and the Master for the body. 14And Yahweh both raised up the Master and will also raise us up by His power. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Messiah? Shall I then take the members of Messiah and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” 17But he who is joined to the Master is one spirit with Him. 18Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from Yahweh, and you are not your own? 20For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify Yahweh in your body and in your spirit, which are Yahweh’s.”

Eph. 5:3-5, “But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Messiah and Yahweh.”

Gal. 5:19, “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness. . .”

Rom. 6:19, “I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.”

Rev. 21:8, “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

3 – Eating things sacrificed to idols:

Exo. 34:15, “lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they play the harlot with their Mighty Onem and make sacrifice to their Mighty Onem, and one of them invites you and you eat of his sacrifice,”

Num. 25:2-13, “They invited the people to the sacrifices of their Mighty Onem, and the people ate and bowed down to their Mighty Onem. 3So Israel was joined to Baal of Peor, and the anger of Yahweh was aroused against Israel. 4Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Take all the leaders of the people and hang the offenders before Yahweh, out in the sun, that the fierce anger of Yahweh may turn away from Israel.”

5So Moses said to the judges of Israel, “Every one of you kill his men who were joined to Baal of Peor.”

6And indeed, one of the children of Israel came and presented to his brethren a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 7Now when Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose from among the congregation and took a javelin in his hand; 8and he went after the man of Israel into the tent and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her body. So the plague was stopped among the children of Israel. 9And those who died in the plague were twenty-four thousand.

10Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying: 11“Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned back My wrath from the children of Israel, because he was zealous with My zeal among them, so that I did not consume the children of Israel in My zeal. 12Therefore say, ‘Behold, I give to him My covenant of peace; 13and it shall be to him and his descendants after him a covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was zealous for his Eloah, and made atonement for the children of Israel.’”

Deut. 32:16-43, “They provoked Him to jealousy with foreign Mighty Onem; With abominations they provoked Him to anger. 17 They sacrificed to demons, not to Mighty One,

To Mighty Onem they did not know,

To new Mighty Onem, new arrivals

That your fathers did not fear.

18 Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful,

And have forgotten the Mighty One who fathered you.

19 “And when Yahweh saw it, He spurned them,

Because of the provocation of His sons and His daughters.

20 And He said: ‘I will hide My face from them,

I will see what their end will be,

For they are a perverse generation,

Children in whom is no faith.

21 They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not Mighty Onem;

They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols.

But I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are not a nation;

I will move them to anger by a foolish nation.

22 For a fire is kindled in My anger,

And shall burn to the lowest hell;

It shall consume the earth with her increase,

And set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

23 ‘I will heap disasters on them;

I will spend My arrows on them.

24 They shall be wasted with hunger,

Devoured by pestilence and bitter destruction;

I will also send against them the teeth of beasts,

With the poison of serpents of the dust.

25 The sword shall destroy outside;

There shall be terror within

For the young man and virgin,

The nursing child with the man of gray hairs.

26 I would have said, “I will dash them in pieces,

I will make the memory of them to cease from among men,”

27 Had I not feared the wrath of the enemy,

Lest their adversaries should misunderstand,

Lest they should say, “Our hand is high;

And it is not Yahweh who has done all this.”’

28 “For they are a nation void of counsel,

Nor is there any understanding in them.

29 Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this,

That they would consider their latter end!

30 How could one chase a thousand,

And two put ten thousand to flight,

Unless their Rock had sold them,

And Yahweh had surrendered them?

31 For their rock is not like our Rock,

Even our enemies themselves being judges.

32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom

And of the fields of Gomorrah;

Their grapes are grapes of gall,

Their clusters are bitter.

33 Their wine is the poison of serpents,

And the cruel venom of cobras.

34Is this not laid up in store with Me,

Sealed up among My treasures?

35 Vengeance is Mine, and recompense;

Their foot shall slip in due time;

For the day of their calamity is at hand,

And the things to come hasten upon them.’

36 “For Yahweh will judge His people

And have compassion on His servants,

When He sees that their power is gone,

And there is no one remaining, bond or free.

37 He will say: ‘Where are their Mighty Onem,

The rock in which they sought refuge?

38 Who ate the fat of their sacrifices,

And drank the wine of their drink offering?

Let them rise and help you,

And be your refuge.

39 ‘Now see that I, even I, am He,

And there is no El besides Me;

I kill and I make alive;

I wound and I heal;

Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.

40 For I raise My hand to heaven,

And say, “As I live forever,

41 If I whet My glittering sword,

And My hand takes hold on judgment,

I will render vengeance to My enemies,

And repay those who hate Me.

42 I will make My arrows drunk with blood,

And My sword shall devour flesh,

With the blood of the slain and the captives,

From the heads of the leaders of the enemy.”’

43 “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people;

For He will avenge the blood of His servants,

And render vengeance to His adversaries;

He will provide atonement for His land and His people.””

1 Cor. 8:10-13, “For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol’s temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols? 11And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Messiah died? 12But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Messiah. 13Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.”

4 – Prohibited from eating things strangled:

Deut. 12:23-25, “Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life; you may not eat the life with the meat. 24You shall not eat it; you shall pour it on the earth like water. 25You shall not eat it, that it may go well with you and your children after you, when you do what is right in the sight of Yahweh.”

Deut. 15:23, “Only you shall not eat its blood; you shall pour it on the ground like water.”

Exo. 23:18, “You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; nor shall the fat of My sacrifice remain until morning.”

Exo. 29:11-21, “Then you shall kill the bull before Yahweh, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 12You shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour all the blood beside the base of the altar.”

Exo. 23:25, “So you shall serve Yahweh your Mighty One, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.”

Lev. 1:3-6, “If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before Yahweh. 4Then he shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him. 5He shall kill the bull before Yahweh; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 6And he shall skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.”

Lev. 1:11-15, “He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before Yahweh; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar. 12And he shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar; 13but he shall wash the entrails and the legs with water. Then the priest shall bring it all and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to Yahweh. 14‘And if the burnt sacrifice of his offering to Yahweh is of birds, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves or young pigeons. 15The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out at the side of the altar.”

Num. 18:17, “But the firstborn of a cow, the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat you shall not redeem; they are holy. You shall sprinkle their blood on the altar, and burn their fat as an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma to Yahweh.”

Deut. 12:27, “And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the meat and the blood, on the altar of Yahweh your Mighty One; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of Yahweh your Mighty One, and you shall eat the meat.”

Acts 21:25, “But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written and decided that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality.”

Acts 15:19-21, “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to Yahweh, 20but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood. 21For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

Notice that the first time the four dogmasin are mentioned in Acts 15, James includes an encouragement to regularly attend synagogue and learn the Torah of Moses. This encouragement is not repeated in Acts 21. Sabbath is NOT required of the Gentiles, but we are encouraged by the great apostle James, first elder of the messianic mega-church in Jerusalem to do so. He didn’t beat the Gentiles over the head with observing even the 10 Royal Decrees, but he encourages us to learn of them, which should lead to obedience of them. What a beautiful picture. We Gentiles should attend Sabbath because we love our Savior and want to please Him, not because we’re going to go to hell if we don’t. Any preacher or teacher who does not teach the whole counsel of Yahweh should be avoided. My personal recommendation is to run as far and as fast as you can away from any 501c3 non-profit church in America, or from any government registered church anywhere in the world. In this post-free America and post-free Europe, it could mean the difference between life and death during the coming last 7 years of human history as we know it. I know most will not heed this warning, but that will be your problem, not mine. Your blood will be upon your head.

The Scriptures used and referred to by Yeshua, Paul, and all the other apostles is the Old Testament. The New Testament is simply commentary on the Old Testament, the Scriptures. The New Testament is inspired by Yahweh, yes, but the foundation is the Old Testament, not the New. You build your faith and life upon the Old Testament up through the New Covenant. And frankly, there are no New Covenant believers yet. Once we have our resurrected, immortal bodies, then we can boast that we are New Covenant believers. Until then, walk humbly with your Mighty One, for our Mighty One is a consuming fire. So keep falling on your face and looking up in the Spirit, looking for the return of our blessed Master and Savior Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach!

Now, what you have to do with this blood thing is to not partake of animal blood, but you do have to partake of Yeshua’s blood. John 6:4, “Now the Passover (Phasekh), a feast of the Jews, was near.”  We see here that the time context of John 6 is around the time of the Passover, when Jesus (Yeshua) fed the five thousand men, plus women and children. Notice that the lad with the bread was carrying five barley loaves. It is the barley crop that ripens and is harvested around Passover. It is the newly harvested barley crop that is offered at the Feast of Firstfruits (anniversary of Resurrection Day), before the people of Israel are allowed to partake of the new grain. So, IF the little lad’s five loaves were leavened, this event occurs before or after the week of Unleavened Bread, which includes Passover. It could be that the little lad’s mother was just trying to get the leaven out of her house before Passover. If these loaves were leavened, as the Greek seems to indicate, it must be before or after Passover, because Yeshua would NOT bless and break leavened barley loaves DURING the week of Unleavened Bread. That would have broken Mosaic Law, thereby making Yeshua a sinner. SO, I suggest to you that if this event occurred during the week of Unleavened Bread, these loaves were NOT leavened, but unleavened. SO, what I see in John 6 is our High Priest, Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus the Messiah, celebrating Passover with His disciples and a mixed multitude, Jews and Gentiles alike! Wow. I’m sorry I missed that miracle. But that’s not even what we were talking about is it? Anyway, next year in Jerusalem!! I can hardly wait for the Kingdom Passover with Yeshua!

Further along in John 6, as the full-bellied folks found Jesus in Capernaum, Jesus teaches them about the true bread from heaven. Let’s pop in on the conversation in John 6:50-59, “This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” 52The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?” 53Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.” 59These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.”

Oh boy, do we have a problem, an enigma, a paradox? It is certainly a mystery of the Kingdom. Yahweh’s Torah commands good Jews and Gentiles not to partake of blood. Elder James reaffirms this command. Yet, Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah, King of the Universe, commands us to eat His flesh and drink His blood. Well, now we know why the early church was called a cannibalistic cult. Actually, it looks like Yeshua was speaking parabolically, so the unbelieving Jews and carnal disciples would not understand. Yeshua lost a lot of support that day. Verse 63 gives us a clue to understanding what Yeshua was talking about, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” Yeshua is the Word of God, right? Here He says His words are spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who gives eternal life. So, we must eat Yeshua, eat His words, eat the Word of Yahweh, to have eternal life. The Scriptures teach that the life is in the blood. Eternal life is in Yeshua’s blood, so we must drink Yeshua, partake of His blood, apply His blood to our evil heart to not just cover sin, as in the Old Testament, but to wash away our sin eternally. We must partake of the Word of Yeshua and His blood in order to gain the fullness of life He is talking about. We must die to our life and have Him live in us. Yeshua is talking about the life of oneness in Him. We don’t just get baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we get baptized into His life!

So, this Passover, as you pick up that cup of wine, see it as Yeshua’s blood, for that is what it is to you. As you break unleavened bread together, remember Who’s heavenly Life you’re breaking, as well as your earthly life. We broke Yeshua, He breaks us. We drink in Yeshua, He fills us up with His power-packed life eternal! And remember, that word remember in the Greek can be interpreted to mean, REMIND Yeshua to get His holiness back here quick!!

Have a wonderful meal together as we celebrate the Feast. As Paul put it in 1 Corinthians 5:6-8, “Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Messiah, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8Therefore let us keep the feast (celebrating Passover, after Pentecost, is obedience, not legalism), not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

Blessings in Yeshua,

Gene Benjamin II

To Hell with Pacifists

To Hell With Pacifists

An open letter to American servicemen and women and my fellow veterans around the globe.

Greetings to all of you,

First of all, let me say that I am not going to spend a lot of time writing about G.I. Joe Christian’s life of personal evangelism, wherein one might quote Matthew 26:52, “But Yahshua said to him, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.” Or 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in Yahuah for pulling down strongholds, 5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Yahuah, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Messiah.”  These two scriptures let us know that the Christian has spiritual weapons available for evangelizing the souls of men, and thus bringing them into union and obedience to Yahuah, our faithful Creator.  If I were to write with the intent of evangelizing you, then I might preach to you the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew chapter 5, where Yahshua teaches a standard for His followers as private citizens.  Ah, let’s do that later, right now let’s get to the stuff for today.

What I want to share with you today is about war as exercised by the state government in the defense of society.

The following is a quote from Gleason L. Archer Jr.’s Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties (Zondervan, 1982, pp. 342-344):

On the related issue of national defense against foreign aggression, does a “Christian” government—and whether there are any such today is a matter of definition—have a right to summon its citizens to arms in order to repel an invader?  Or may it send an expeditionary force abroad in order to crush an invader before he has an opportunity to land his troops on our soil?  No one questions whether this right was accorded to Israel under the Old Testament; the God-blessed careers of Joshua and David are a sufficient demonstration of that right.  But what about the New Testament and the teaching of Jesus?

We have already seen that Christ’s dictum to Peter in Matthew 26:52 (“All they that take the sword shall perish with the sword”) has to do with the personal witness of the Christian soul winner; it has nothing to do with the Christian’s obligations as a citizen, concerned with the protection of society or the defense of his country.  Jesus also upheld the right of kings to resort to warfare if the circumstances warrant it, for this is certainly implied in Luke 14:31: “What king, going to make war against another king, does not first sit down and take counsel as to whether he is able with ten thousand troops to meet in battle with one who comes against him with twenty thousand?”  No pacifist could use such an illustration as this without appearing to condone warfare as a legitimate measure for a head of state.  But even more clearly is this implied by what Jesus said to Pilate in John 18:36: “My kingdom is not of this world.  If it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jews.”  It was only because Christ’s kingdom (prior to the kingdom age of the end time) was not of this world that Peter’s resort to the sword was restrained and Christ allowed Himself to be arrested by the Jewish authorities.  But the implication is unavoidable that a kingdom that is of the world has a perfect right to resort to warfare and the killing of enemy aggressors.

In the parable of the wedding feast, Jesus seems to speak approvingly of the action of the king (who clearly represented God Himself) when he “sent forth his armies and destroyed those murderers and burned up their city.”  The prediction of Jesus in the Olivet Discourse, that wars will continue to be fought on earth until He returns in sovereign power and imposes peace by overwhelming force (Matthew 24:5-7, “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”  Matthew 25:31, “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.”  Mark 13:7-8, “But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.” NKJV), leaves little room for the dream entertained by pacifistic socialism of the establishment of a warless society that abolishes murder and violence by doing away with capital punishment and the use of arms in national defense.

Nor is there any hint of disapproval of military service as a legitimate calling for a true believer in Christ.  In fact, our Lord reserved His highest praise for the faith of the centurion whose servant He healed at Capernaum (Matthew 8:10, “When Yahshua heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”” NKJV).  There was no suggestion that he would have to give up his martial calling in order to be saved.  The same was true of the centurion Cornelius of Caesarea, who was honored by Peter as the first of the converts from the Gentiles and was welcomed into the family of God as a true believer (Acts 10:47-48, ““Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?48And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.” NKJV).  Nothing was said about his promising to change to a more peaceful profession as a condition for his being baptized.  Paul frequently draws analogies from the obligation, commitment, and self-giving devotion of a good soldier in his description of a dedicated Christian life:  “Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.  No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier” (2 Timothy 2:3-4), (NASB).

The military profession is linked up with the professions of vinedressing and the raising of livestock in 1 Corinthians 9:7: “Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense?  Who plants a vineyard and does not eat the fruit of it?  Or who tends a flock and does not use the milk of the flock?” (NASB).  It is hard to see how on the basis of this verse a pacifist would not also have to condemn a farmer, for they are here both put on the same level of legitimacy.

A pacifist position is impossible to reconcile with the praise heaped by Hebrews 11:32-34 on warriors like Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, Samuel, and David, who along with the Old Testament prophets “by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight” (NASB).  It would be quite difficult to imagine the author of this passage as adding, in agreement with the pacifist advocate, “Oh yes, all those who did engage in warfare in Old Testament times would have to be condemned as wicked sinners today, according to the law of Christ.”  Of such a “law of Christ” neither Christ Himself nor any of His apostles betray the slightest awareness, according to the text of the New Testament itself.  We must therefore conclude that pacifism is completely lacking in support from the Word of God.”

End Quote.

Being a military serviceman or woman is a high and worthy calling.  Stand tall and proud, crouch low, shoot accurately, and live long enough to lay down your life for your friends.  Our Creator and Master, Yahshua, is the greatest warrior the universe has ever seen.  You don’t have to wait until the abattoir described in the Book of Revelation to see Him in action; today you can read of our Heavenly Father, Yahuah’s, and His Son, Yahshua’s, warring in the Old Testament.  The Scriptures are a war manual, beginning to end.

I encourage you to read the Scriptures cover to cover to learn how the Almightiest of all mighty ones conducts warfare in this world.  He hasn’t changed; you ultimately work for Him, whether you realize it or not.  Just be content with your wages and remember that you are meant to war, not police the civilian population.  You don’t have to be saved to be a soldier, but faith in Yahshua and His Father Yahuah does make more sense of it all.  He will meet you where you are, from foxhole to engine room to cockpit, and really teach you how to hand to hand battle your enemies.  Warrior, be encouraged and pass this on to your friends.    I salute you.

QUIZ:  In which battle described in the Scriptures does the Master wipe out 185,000 enemy soldiers in one night?
